I try a different combination each time I start over. Once, I used Cloud, Red XIII and Barret. Another time, I used Cloud, Vincent and Cid. Next time, I'll probably use Cloud, Tifa and Cait Sith/Yuffie or something

I don't really know why I use Vincent though. He's not that powerful. I guess I use him for a more magical flavor.

something mentioned earlier......
i have long range materia for both tifa and cloud and vincent already has a long range weapon soooo......also, clooud and vincent have counter attask (although only cloud has cover) but i'm working my way to get tifa one too 3nodding 3nodding

My party consists of Cloud, Yuffie, and Tifa.
People think Yuffie is a weak character, but she's seriously awesome! She's actually stronger then tifa too, only a level lower then Cloud. Yuffie's my healer and Tifa revives people. Yay!
Tifa's limit breaks are awesome too since you can use all of them. ^^

(CloudxVincentxYuffie)They are my fav. team A funny story though the first time i played FF7 I got Vincent like almost right before the final battle but i used him anyway and when i fought Sephiroth i wasnt really trying cause i thought i was going to loose so i used Vincents level 2 limit break but right after Cloud and Cid died so i was like damn-it now im going to loose so i was about to shut the game off when Vincent did a Giga-dunk and total KILLED sephiroth and i was all HOLLY FUKE VINCENT JUST KILLED SEPHIROTH and Vincent has been my fav. charecter ever since heart

Cloud, Barret and Cid. That third one I chose cause he can equip more materia in a multi materia exp weopon than any other char so I can gain exp on kotr between 4 and 7 times faster depending on what weopon I use and were I train. Oh yeah, barret he has a giant gun on his hand ( enough said) smile , aerith is not around till the end and vincents good limit he randomly attacks your party and the enemy so fighting with him is not a good idea vs. weopons. Yuffie I only trained till I got leviathan materia cause once you get ALL of the summon materia you get a SECOND master materia. The first you get from emerald smile . Tifa I don't like slots and caith sith I'm not into rolling dice to determine damage. I said slot for tifa not what you think lol.

Takeru Kamiya For me it was allways Cloud, Vincent and Tifa. True asskicking power ditto!!! i love that team, and if it's not tifa, its usually red or cid, but, mostly tifa 3nodding

Before I lost her, my party was Cloud, Tifa, and Aeris. With her gone, my new party was always Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie. I barely used the others really :s

I usually take Cloud, Red, and Aerith for the majority of the first disk, although I'll change for level and limit building. For second and third disk I switch to Cloud, Cid, and Vincent. When materia building I think it's Cloud, Cid, and Tifa.

On disc 1, It's usually Cloud, Vincent, and Aeris. After that, it's Cloud, Cid, and Vincent. cool
