She'd been beaten up by cleaning gnomes.
She, Shehk, had been beaten up, as in knocked around and knocked cold, by the cleaning gnomes, as in something that came up to about her knees.
She wasn't happy about it either, as was somewhat apparent in the way she'd put it on her TO-DO LIST (written by Tristan somewhere underneath 'Tell Tristan he's the hottest piece of manflesh ever' or something like that...) .. though it seemed that in her stomping off towards the gymnasium, having initially hoped for a chance to talk to the professor (who she may or may not have had an affinity for given her past race.. known only because of the mythology attached to her given one) and instead finding a piece of paper.
Hmmm. Well! This piece of paper did say something fancy indeed! And with fancy came the one thing she had been aiming to find out about in the first place!
WOO HOO!
She'd write her name down in BIG BOLD LETTERS on that list.
SHEHK STRIGOI.
There. She was official. Somewhat.

((Sin Err IS SIGNING UP FOR TRAINING! ))
Sin walked up to the Professors door and eyed the sign ups thoughtfully. On the one hand she was a little worried that too many classes would steal away her time for socializing. On the other hand a body like hers took a bit of careful maintaining. She ran a hand down her waist and hip and smirked. Yes a little sacrifice was what it took to keep in tip top shape. Besides she was going to need the extra fitness if she wanted to try out for the Fearleading team. She grabbed the pencil and quickly scrawled her name on a space.
Sin Err
Pity about having to wear a uniform though, but she would pull it off no doubt. She tossed her hair back realizing she would have to wear it up as well. So many sacrifices to be made, but it would all be worth it in the end, if it didn't kill her. She that she examined her nails gave a long suffering sigh and shrugged. Ah well, school couldn't all be fun and games after all.

A quiet padding of feet preceded her, the ghost wandering about the halls during the day. Classes were beginning and she was very excited about Miss Nurse Cricket's class. She had much to learn, she decided, and still remembered the train ride to Amityville very clearly. She hadn't had visions like the ones on the train since then, but when Miss Professor Red explained everything and even offered to train them via a class, Kasumi couldn't wait. As soon as she heard about the openings, she questions all the gnomes she could find until they pointed her towards the gymnasium. She went there quickly, hoping to speak to Miss Professor Red about the entire train incident. Instead she found a slip of paper on the door, with a sign up sheet.
Miracle of miracles!
The fact that Miss Professor Red was a Miss at all garnered her many points in Kasumi's book. She was determined to sign up for classes with as many female teachers as possible. She would learn more that way, or so she thought. Taking up the pen, she placed her name in scrawled script.
Kasumi!
Yes, the exclamation point was necessary. Why do you ask?

Temes had been lied to about gym, but of course she didn't know that just yet and likely wouldn't know about it until it actually came time for her to know what gym was all about. She'd heard several students talking about how it was a fun place where they got to practice their FEARs (they didn't specify on what though, she was sad to find out) and hang out with others, so to the tiny monster that sounded like a good a reason as any to go. Plus if she could recall her mother's stories about classes and things gym was a place to go to run and move around. With a clawed fingertip the Chupacabra poked the pudge that jutted out and pretended to be her belly, a little frown spreading across a face that had oversized fangs jutting from an open mouth.
Maybe....with all the running and jumping she could loose some weight? A little blush ran over her cheeks as she thought about being a bit skinnier, completely forgetting that she only got fat because of how she ate and not at all about how much she ran around. For someone who was the Captain of the Track Team she wasn't as thin as people would expect her to be with how involved she was in running and training; it probably did her no good that after each session she ate nearly her weight in blood for about three hours straight. All that eating, plus the eating she did between classes or for whatever other reason she could possibly think about, was the reason she was fat. Maybe gym really could help slim her down.
It was hard for the Chupacabra to reach the paper to sign up, seeing as it was a good foot or two above her head, but Chuppi was getting smarter about living at Amityville and its general ignorance of anything under the three foot line. It would take some timing and a little bit of effort, but she would be able to sign up.

She'd jumped up to reach the paper, writing a letter of her name with each small bounce. Of course her writing was scattered and took up nearly half the page in the process, but at the very least she could now play in gym with the rest of her friends.

Tybalt trudged up to the gymnasium doors; his mood questionable. Of all the classes he had to take, gym was likely to be one of the few he'd actually understand and the least likely he'd skip, or run from. However, he didn't know why he couldn't wear his own clothing. They were easy enough to move in, so why was he stuck in these crummy sweatpants and t-shirt? School rule perhaps? Whatever the reason, he was not happy about it. Though, he had to admit, it was kind of amusing that his shirt looked like it was floating there among all the black. Funny... Maybe...
Putting that issue aside, now that he looked, there were other students about. Several in fact. All of which were filling out a form. Form? Oh the sign up sheet! Perhaps he was supposed to add his name as well? He didn't bother to ask as he reached for it, hastily scribbling his name beneath the last name on the list.

Gym! How could he have not signed up for a gym class?! It was practically a freebie in terms of A's. After all, coming from a long line of overly muscular warrior woman tended to make one rather adequate in the physical department. It was the mental stuff that he really needed to put the effort in. But gym was no problem! He'd breeze through it. At least, that's what Valk was thinking as he made his way towards the gymnasium to sign up for the class.
He was honestly a bit surprised to see that so many other students had already signed up for the class, and hastily pulling a pencil out of his pocket he scribbled down his name onto the sheet, right below the name Tybalt. In a moderately neat script none the less.
Valkjosandi
Looking over the list of names for a very brief moment, he was left wondering if he shared any other classes with the people written there. Shoving the pencil into his pocket, he moved back to watch any other late joiners.

Real witches didn't let their friends get beaten down by small men in bathrooms. Or themselves either, for that matter! Real witches didn't have to hide behind said friends when things went wrong, or constantly need assistance. Real witches, real Device witches, were capable, hardworking, and got things done when push came to shove.
Emily Device, by her standards, was not a real witch. Not at all. But she was going to become one, no matter what it cost her, she was going to be a witch that her family could be proud of. That her friends could depend on. That would never let a gnome push her around again.
Face determined, hand barely shaking, Emily signed her name on the paper.

"Do I have to, Tartalo?" the girl whined as she entered the gym. She really didn't want to take this class, in fact she prefered studying rather than any type of physical activity. After all that's why you enchanted things to do things FOR you. Also she hated to get all sweaty, it was just a weird feeling she prefered not to feel.
"Yes young lady. You are going to be a Reaper as well as an Animator Witch. You must be in excellent shape to reap those souls," the scythe talked all parental like and looked down at his little charge. He knew the girl was rather lazy and needed something to get her into better shape. Not to mention it was healthy and would keep her from gaining weight from the school lunches here of which he was doubtful of their true heath quality.
"Fine, fine!" she grumbled as she wrote her name on the paper.

"There, now I can learn to reap like a major luege player," she frumped and sulked.

First it had been the train. Then it had been the other bathroom. What other sinister plots waited around this campus, ready to pounce on her and further rob her of faith in her abilities? Hadn't this Red teacher said on the train that it was all her trick, a test to show them they needed to take a gym class? If that was the case, then Belladonna swore on her favorite pointy boots that she'd take this class.
With great indignation and a large, looping script, Belladonna scrawled her name across the sign up sheet. There! Why, her name looked quite nice. And oooh, Chuppi had signed up too. Lovely!

So far Valentino had been beat up by almost everybody at school. Belladonna and Chuppi had already proved that they could beat him up. Jack forbid anyone else did so as well. Knowing this school, he was going to need all the help he could get to stay intact. He already saw that Chuppi and Bella had signed up, also the blond Reaper girl who hated him.
Marching to the sign up sheet, he had the sensation that he was signing his life away with a single signature. At least he wouldn't be in the princess chair this time, he still smelled of sparkles and rainbows.

Ten minutes after the last student left, Red opened the door to her office and stepped out, turning to look at the sign-up sheet. Let's see... No requests for a teacher-meeting? That was good! It meant she needed more free time. As for the oth- " HACHOO! Ugh!" The werewolf sniffed and waved her hands in the air. Nrrgh, great -- she heard rumors of someone getting into the Princess Corner this early in the school year (school year?! Classes have barely begun!), but didn't know who it was. Whoever they were, they were here and -- she sniffed, then shook her head. The scents of the different students still lingered here, but overall... hm. She removed her list and took it into her classroom, and began to prepare for class. ----------- OOC:First class is now open!

The mini acceptance bin seemed to whine as it hid under the large stone desk, away from the pacing Red. "I can't believe it! Now of all times?! AUGH!" The werewolf growled and kicked her desk, nearly toppling it with her focused Fear. "Great! This is just great! I've revised my rules when asked, I do my work before the deadline, but now adding this to it --!" The werewolf stopped, catching sight of something on her desk. The kick had shuffled some papers over, revealing it like the world's lamest treasure. "Heeeey, I thought I posted this...?" She mused, picking up the paper and looking it over. She grinned. It was more work, but what better way to blow off some steam? Students passing near the gym could see the red-cloaked teacher exit her office long enough to pin something to the door before slamming it shut again. It looked like something was up... (( Yesss, Battle Exhibition #2 can be one of THREE choices. Please check the box of the course you're most interested in when you sign up. Claire only joined because she didn't have anything else to do.. She didn't really know which box to check, but she couldn't swim and couldn't fly so the land option seemed most logical. She wondered what this class was about, and who the hell Jim was. Was it a cooking class? Was Jim a Chef? What did 'battle' refer to? A cook-off? Who knew. She wrote her name on the sheet in her favorite orange pen and left, wondering what was in store.

Nuk had really tried hard to be the first one to sign up. As soon as he'd heard Red was doing another Battle class, he had (literally) wolfed down his food as fast as he could before making a b line towards the werewolf's office, making sure to push every wimpy-looking kid out of his way so he could get there faster. The LAST time he'd waited to sign up, he hadn't GOTTEN the chance to sign up. This time would be different. This time he was going right now, right after the announcement. His name would be at the top, so no one could bump him off it.
But when he got there, there was another name already there. Squinting his eyes a bit, the skinwalker pursed his lips, raising his pen to the second line.
"You win this time... Claire."

Lizzy didn't get the chance to sign up the last time round (and she had been afraid to since anything sports-related tend to be her weakness), but she realized the importance of attending the Battle Exhibition after it was over. Thus, upon hearing that there would be a second round of sign-ups for the Battle Class, she took the next chance she had to rush down to the professor's office. She sighed a The appearance of a pink pen and some scribbling later, the Spider Demon smiled, obviously pleased with herself; she even wrote her full name for easy identification!
"Now to wait!"
