Alex released the warhammer obviously having no problem with discarding weapons on a whim, for fairly obvious reasons given his ability. With Nyrk facing away from him Alex figured the battle was all but won at this point and while the crucifix provided some protection it didn't seem to guard the back of the exorcist's knees.
With that in mind Alex aimed a kick at the back of Nyrk's knee fully intent on bringing the man to his knees. If that attack of his worked he would quickly summon twin bladed knuckle trench knives and be prepared to ram both of them into the man's skull while reaching around the crucifix.

The kick worked splendidly, forcing the exorcist into a kneel, and the swordsman continued with the swift counterattack plan, summoning the trench knives. Nyrk stood up again, but a moment too soon, as everything quickly went black---
With a heavy thud, Nyrk fell face first into the rubble-littered soil, Alex's knives embedded in his skull, and the exorcist proceeded to fertilize the dirt with his fluids. Pity, it was a short battle...
( I'd make the fight last longer, but there wasn't a reasonable way within Nyrk's ability to avoid that. D:

Alex tossed the dirtied weapons to the side and walked off.
((Darn I was hoping that would last longer... still fun little match while it lasted.))

I want another fight with my blademaster character. No offense to Nyrk but that last fight was way too short.
Same rules as on the first post which will be reposted here for convenience. Combat area may change or it may remain the same. Hell we could even start this new fight immediately after Alex beats Nyrk.
Name: Alexander Thompson
Age: 29
Appearance: Alex the Blademaster
Powers: The ability to summon a multitude of weapons at a whim. Typically used to summon melee weapons in his hand but he can summon entire fields of blades in midair to drop them or just one massive blade that while he can't wield it he can still drop it on people.
Skills: A master with a sword he is also quite capable with a multitude of other weapons and fairly good at hand to hand combat.
As for the location of the fight I don't really care. Whoever challenges me can pick. Or if you want I can make one up. =D

Uhhhh the usual stuff like no god modding and crap.
This isn't going to be dice regulated or anything like that. Just a good old fashioned RP fight.

Alexander is standing idly in the center of the stone arena awaiting his opponent. His unarmored left hand rested on the hilt of the only blade he used that he hadn't summoned from thin air. His right armored hand curled and uncurled in anticipation of the battle that he was about to have.

"Greetings and Salutations my good sir!" Grim called to Alexander. He wore two blades, strapped along his back in an x-shape, a red shield perched on his arm. "Shall we begin this?"

Alex nodded to his opponent in response as he slowly began drawing his blade in a reverse grip with his left hand. His eyes watched Grim closely as he completed his slow draw wondering if the man would attack before he was finished unsheathing his blade.

Grim drew his blade in a reverse grip as well, but flipped it around to hold it normally. He tossed it between his arms a few times, waiting for Alex to finish drawing his weapon.

With the weapon fully withdrawn, Alex tossed flipped it around into a more proper grip before launching himself into a lunging thrust at his opponent. He knew it was likely to leave him overextended but he was willing to take that risk to get an idea of how his opponent fought.

Grim sidestepped, taking step back as well. He adjusted his helm, waiting for Alex to make another move.

Alex recovered from his thrust swiftly and slashed somewhat wildly at Grim. His eyes were cold and calculating at the moment as he did his best to analyze his opponent's fighting style.

Grim easily caught the wild slash on his shield, brining his sword back, before swinging it in a uppercut, flames exploding from the blade midswing to cause a Backdraft (Fighter skill).

The flames easily surprised Alex and he covered his face with both arms as he leaped away from the attack. Unable to dodge completely he ignored the minor burns as he proceeded to beat out the small flames that sprang up on his clothes. He frowned as he kept his distance analyzing his opponent a bit more to see if that move drained the man to any significant degree.

His skin glowed white for a short amount of time, his Nurse ability healing the minor burns he had sustained as well. He waited for a second, before planting his sword in the ground for a second, drawing a fist back, gathering his strength before throwing an Air Render.
