Raziel had been informed that classes had started, and so, being the intellectual he was, headed straight for them. Nobody had said anything about how to go about picking your classes, so Raziel did the first thing he could think of; just show up whenever there was a class at all. Today, Raziel found himself walking into a class that seemed to have no single thing in common. Everything seemed just a bit out of place, like nothing really belonged. The same could probably be said for the students. They varied so much in size and appearance. Before going too much further into the class, Raziel noticed the Sign In sheet at the front and promptly scrawled his name across it.

Calder has been one of the late arrivals, walking in and very well expecting a packed classroom and a very annoyed teacher. Instead, he saw no sign of a teacher and just a small group of students when he walked in. Confused, he checked the walls for any sign of a clock (he didn't see one) to see if he was actually early. It seemed he didn't have any reason to rush here, and catching his breath, he smiled. It seemed he could get away with a between-class dip after all, which he really needed. Ever since the bathroom incident, he was spending the week trying to wash all the soap off. It was horrible! It was in his ears, his nose, his hair (which made it nearly impossible for anything to stick into it now that it was shimmering and silky), and he swore he could still taste it. He was still occasionally burping bubbles. At least it wasn't as bad as the first night after detention as his bathtub bed was filled to suds, causing him to give up and instead sleep on the dry floor. How unpleasant.
Still damp, he scanned the room and felt his apprehension about coming to this class leave him at seeing both G and Shehk. Two people he knew! It made coming to this class a bit more bearable now. He really didn't expect to have fun here, but only because there was so much pressure in him attaining his other form.
Walking in, it was hard to miss the massive sign-up sheet, and he walked over to read it. What does FEAR look like? Brow creasing, he turned about. "Do we answer this? Is this a test?" He wasn't sure, and seeing the sign-up without any answers, he guessed it was something he'd have to answer in another way. Oh, he hoped it wasn't a test.
Reaching into his jacket, which was dripping water on the floor, he pulled out his snake pen and shook it a few times to get it to stiffen. It hissed in irritation, but was pretty sick from taking a swim. Reaching up, he signed his name, having to shake it a few times for it to even work and even when it did, the ink

Finished, he pocketed the pen and went to look for a seat. The groups were already forming, and he was pulled away from the demons and to the back where G was sitting. Monsters had to stick together after all. "Hi G!" The great beast was a great hero in his eyes after G saved him from the suds monster. If it wasn't for him, he could still be pulling great globs of soap from his hair.

The name of the class sounded interesting at least, but Lizzy had no idea what the class was really about - she figured that she would try going for every class currently available to her level (maybe except gym, since her and vigorous exercise never really got along even since she was young) until she had decided on a selected few 'favorites' to stick with. So far, she had enjoyed herself, and there was no reason for this trend not to continue, right? Besides, going for the different classes meant meeting more people! She might even find a few friends who share her interests!
Beaming at the thought, Lizzy pushed open the door of the classroom, but froze upon entering. The room looked terrible - like a giant, poorly done patchwork! The designer in her fainted, and she could only try to distract herself by turning her attention to the students who had already settled down. Judging by the time, she was sure that the place would be packed, but instead, she saw only a handful of students. Only half of them looked familiar, but the other half comprised of strangers... What should she do? They seemed to know each other, at least vaguely. Would it be rude to simply intrude? However, before she could make up her mind, the demon noticed the piece of paper pinned to the front, and made her way down, taking out a pale pink pen from her bag before writing down her name.

She then turned around, taking a quick glance at where some students were gathered around a huge, green monster, including the only person she had spoken to outside of class - the FEARleader captain. She sighed inwardly, deciding on a seat a few tables away. If someone called out to her, she would happily join them, but for now... Well, it felt weird to just walk over and force herself in.

Having spent a better part of the day wandering aimlessly, Tabitha had found herself standing in front of a sign-up sheet. A sign-up sheet for what- She didn't have a clue, nor did she particularly care. The ever-so-fashionable skeleton knew she needed to take classes. "A good mark of a truly terrifying leader is knowing all there is to know about Fear." It was straight out of Teen Fear Leader issue 3, but she didn't care. Tabitha didn't care SO MUCH that the magazine had been covered with old newspaper in the hopes that no one around would notice. Clearly she was too old for such things now. Digging through her purse with a sigh, she found a small ink bottle but no pen with which to write. Rolling her eyes, if she had been blessed with any, she dipped her finger in the pot and wrote on the page before her. She still wasn't completely sure that this was going to be the class for her, or if anyone would want her, and her trepidation revealed itself on the page in the form of a question mark. Well, at least the teacher would know that Tabitha wasn't one to lie or hide her feelings. That he, or she, or it even; that they had a choice in letting Tabitha into their class. Their hallowed room of learning. If they didn't then- No. Tabitha had to be optimistic. Dipping her finger in her ink pot one last time she added all her hopes and dreams of learning to the list in one word. Not bothering to wipe her finger off she was gone down the hall again with a sweep of her gown.

Yui strode into the classroom and signed her name carefully on the sign in sheet. She wasn't entirely certain if this class would be worth the time or not, but really, what could it hurt? Glancing around at the motley arrangement of chairs, she gave a purely internal sigh before heading towards where Gargantuan sat. He was nice enough for a boy and she often found his simplicity to be on the charming side. Sitting down by him, she gave the swamp monster a brilliant (and somewhat pointy) smile before looking around to see who else was in the class with her. So far all people that she was only vaguely familiar with. Easy enough to remedy if they proved worth the time, she mused as she nibbled delicately on the tip of her pen.

Tabitha strode back into the classroom. If she'd had the necessities for it the poor girl would have been blushing furiously. She wasn't the brightest glowworm under the rock but why oh why did she have to start class off flaunting it. Sheepishly shuffling to a free place to sit, she folded her bony hands in her lap squashing her purse to her side. Watching the other first years in the class was interesting at least! She knew she'd make friends with at least one of them, she knew it.
As she watched more any insecurities she had left as swiftly as air passed through her bones. The slit that separated her upper and lower jaws spread into a grin as her eyes scanned the slowly filling crowd. This was gonna be fun even if she hadn't introduced herself yet.

Coralie didn't really know what time it was...and she didn't really care too much. If she was late, she was late. Knowing you were late didn't change anything about that fact anyway and rushing didn't make you any less late, really. It was all relative. So when she walked into the strangely mismatched classroom she passed a glance at the bell on the door, but otherwise shrugged and went on to look for a seat. She had to quirk an eyebrow, because it looked as if Mr. Blobby had thrown up in the room or something. She had to admit, she liked it. It was interesting.
"And I thought ya were lacking in taste, little lady, but whoooey, look at this room," cried Wilfred.
"I think it's fun," she said simply, taking the sign up sheet with her as she moved over to a swirly chair that seemed to bend backwards oddly. It also happened to be bright purple. Lovely. She signed her name casually and passed it over to an empty desk so someone else could reach it when they came in.
"So no professor, eh? Think that'll last?" she asked to anyone who cared to answer.

The classroom was really starting to pick up now but Morri paid little attention to the students coming in. Okay, maybe she noticed the guys a little more than the females but that couldn't be helped. Something about the kid disturbed her. She couldn't quite place it though. He was just a kid, right? She walked over to the front of the room and bent over to look at him more closely.
"Aren't you just adorable," she complimented while ruffling his hair playfully. "Did you lose your mommy?"

Rain had no idea what this class was about. Forms and faces? Would it teach her how to look prettier? Or make scarier faces? She was aiming to find out. She walked over to the sign up sheet and quickly put down her name. Some demon was talking to a little kid at the front of the class and that was well, it was strange to see a kid that young here, but then again, this school was unpredictable. She walked over to the nearest empty desk and stared at the board. What does fear look like? Fantastic, that's what. Or was she misunderstanding it? Was it the individual fear of the denizens of Halloween? That varied from one ghoul or boil to another, didn't it? What a strange question. What a strange classroom. She opted to not speak out in this class, she had made an a** of herself enough today as was. Instead, she just sat quietly and watched everyone.

Nukpana's entrance was, not unexpectedly, a rather dramatic one. Certainly not content to just walk in quietly, the skinwalker made every attempt to be obnoxious as he shoved open the door roughly, causing the bell to go wild as he sauntered into the room. His logic in this, of course, was that he didn't want to be there. He didn't even know what class he was in -- his schedule had long since gotten stained with who-knew-what -- but it didn't matter much. There were very few classes that Nuk actually had an interest in, and as such, often showed up extremely late (and/or causing him to mouth off to the teacher. Both landed him in detention quite frequently.) The only reason he even went was because he wasn't allowed to do football if he didn't attend classes. So he went. Just... didn't do much else.
Except despite being obscenely late (as usual,) the professor wasn't even there. Scowling a little, Nuk's gaze slid once around the room, making sure he hadn't missed some little corner he could have been hiding in before realizing that no, he'd been right the first time, finally coming to rest on the paper on the desk.
Only half-interested, he went to take a look.

He almost signed his name at the bottom of the page. Almost. It was sorely tempting, but then again, so was signing his name as the 13th student into the classroom. Had anyone happened to have been watching the skinwalker stare at the piece of paper on the desk, they would have practically seen the wheels in his head turning, glowing gold eyes flicking from somewhere in the middle of the page to the very bottom, his dark, blood-colored pen wavering indecisively. In the end, the temptation was too great -- signing his name under Rain's, the skinwalker turned around to make his way between the desk, tossing his pen haphazardly onto one of them before collapsing into the chair, making it screech awfully as it skidded back until the back bumped the desk behind him.
Briefly, Nuk's eyes lingered on the weird kid in the corner, staring for a good few more seconds longer than he had at any other kid in the room. He'd probably be one of those guys who'd dunk the nerd's head in the toilet, given half the chance. No, correction -- he totally would be. The skinwalker smirked, his grin toothy as he turned his attention back towards the other kids in the class, glancing between G, Shehk, Rain (whom he only knew by sight from the Masque) and (with a slight sneer) Calder.
"Sup guys?"

The pat was enough to make Gargantuan's tail bang soundly against the floor, but his manner became completely grave when Shehk asked if he'd been good and stayed away from the bathroom. "G been good, no more bathroom for G." Came the mournful reply, and he nodded several times to prove how good he'd been. Really, he had been, he promised! "Don't smell bad no more... maybe..."
If there was one person that could have G grinning like an idiot (most of them), it was Calder. Calder, whom he'd somehow plucked from the jaws of the evil icky soap dragon in detention. Suppressing a mild shudder at the thought of that place, Gargantuan's jaws fell open in a delighted grin when the pony kelpi greeted him. "Caaalllddeeeerrrr. You be well?" It was important that Pony was still okay, after all!
G's day couldn't be getting any better; Yui showed up next, and the swamp beast didn't quite whine with delight. "Hiiiii Yuiiii." She was the pretty sharky lady who told him he was good at things! And sometimes had snackies with her, but he'd try his best not to look too eager...
Rain showed up next, and Nukpana as well, though G might have been just a bit shy around the latter. "Raaaaaiiiiin. No sit by self." Why was she all the way over there? That made the monster a bit sad; she didn't look like her normal, happy self that he'd seen in the bathroom!
...Maybe she needed a froggy to cheer her up... He could have sworn he had one lying around somewhere. Ah. There it was. Semi-squished and no longer breathing, but if he set it on his desk and poked at it a little, he could pretend it was just sleeping...
....Maybe Rain wouldn't notice.

Mai wafted invisibly just outside the doorway of a bustling classroom. Her little spirit flame floated beside her while she dawdled, silent as ever. She was aware of the fact that classes were now starting, but was a little less aware of just how to go about choosing which classes to attend. She had drifted up and down this particular corridor several times now, trying to decide which door to enter. She had even ventured to ask her little companion if it had any advice, which of course got her nowhere. She thought it might have pulsed a bit in response, but that could have been her own imagination. The ghost tried to remember if she'd been given a schedule, but could not recall having received any such thing. In all likelihood she probably had just such a schedule tucked away forgotten in her dorm room under a pillow. For safe keeping. Well, she had procrastinated in the hallway for so long that now many of the classroom doors were closed, the teachers within already starting into their introductory speeches. She eyed the room presently in front of her, where it seemed the teacher had not even arrived to begin lessons yet. She liked the idea of an instructor who wasn't so caught up on rushing about and scheduling every second of their day. Life was best enjoyed at a leisurely pace after all. With a nod Mai finally pushed the door open, collecting herself into a corporeal state as she did so. Wisps of her white hair floated weightlessly behind her as the door bell chimed her arrival. She witnessed one of the students signing in on a piece of paper and surmised that she should probably do so as well. Making no effort to hurry, she meandered over to the sign in sheet. Her heels clicked softly as she walked between milling students, brushing up against several of the warmer bodies intentionally on her way. The little spirit flame roiled as it slowly followed her through the room. She reached the teachers desk and peered down at the list. With one fluid movement she leaned over, very nearly spilling out of her top when she did, and penned her name to the roster. Having accomplished that, Mai straightened and looked around for a moment. She decided she didn't really mind where she sat so just chose an empty desk near the center rows and slid into her seat. The ghost promptly made a pillow out of her arms on the desk and closed her eyes for a nap.

Daisuke lingered by a few classrooms, wondering which to take next. He had already found himself attending literature and now, with the persuasion of many voices swirling the inside found himself entering a classroom where everything was mismatched, out of place and damn right strange. How scary cool! His eyes wandered to the board, the question startling but, a good one at that. He would admit, physically he had no idea. He guessed it was some kind of aura that you manipulated... Or something like that. Silly Dai.
He shook his head, realizing he had just been standing there staring at the board and then took the time to notice another ghost ghoul in front, signing something. He peered round, blushing slightly at how... Revealing her clothing were. Typical! Get it together, he stood up straight and pushed his glasses up, waiting till she had finished before grabbing a spare pen and scribbling his name down.

He had no clue what the class was or generally what it was about but it seemed to be rather popular and that could have only been a good sign, right? Either way he was joining it, he had to.
He searched the room, all the faces were vaguely familiar, mainly from his last class which made him feel a bit more confident, despite already being cautious. Considering the teacher wasn't even here yet. He settled on someone, across from the rest, a skeletal ghoul and walked over in her direction before sitting in the wonky furniture near by. Remaining quiet for the most part but he did offer her a smile before briefly staring over at the commotion.

A class was a class was a class was a class, and Chuppi had sworn to herself up and down that she would take as many classes as she could in order to feel more comfortable in the school. When sign-ins for a class about "Forms and Faces" became avalible she wasn't really sure if it was for her, but the nagging in her brain about attending all the classes she could made her go in.
Careful about walking through the door (she didn't want to fall again) and careful to not cause a scene getting into her seat (she'd brought her Thermos this time, no getting hungry!) the Chupacabra made sure to sign her name before she got comfortable.

It pleased her to no end to see people she knew on the list! Calder, Tybalt, even Shehk from track! That mean demon Sin Err was here as well, and - Chuppi's face lit up brightly - so was G. He was hard to miss as she looked around at the group of students, and she giggled to herself at the delight of having her friend here. She was quite happy, quite content, but for good measure Chuppi pulled her Thermos out in front of herself and got ready to eat anything should the need arise. She'd been caught without it in Dr. Alabster's class and it had been a fatal mistake. She would never, ever, be without it again.

To be fair, learning to change his shape and appearance was something that Figg had some genuine, seemingly intrinsic interest in -- but he was also very good at not showing his interest, keeping his typical noncommittally exasperated look as he scrawled his name into the sign-up sheet. Without a second thought he took the desk at the darkest, most dingy corner of the room he could find, casting an irritable glare at the unnamed goody toe-shoes-looking kid sitting nearby.
