Pretty much depends on where you are anywhere, even inside of the same country things like that vary from place to place.
Ah, this. Even within one city, things can be completely different in different places.
For instance, where I am in London, it's really diverse, and there's very little racism (I wont say there's none, but as far as I'm aware, there's not much). However, while visiting part of South London about a job, I saw two very obviously racially charged groups arguing, and some... uh, pleasant graffiti that I wont quote. =|
