Held back? short of recruiting new active members we are resorting to banning the only ones we have? i am getting a little frustrated im 24 and have another life besides Gaia this is a spare time thing i get on when i can i have a newborn daughter and a wife i cant be everywhere. so if you want to threaten banning people for not attending "Clan Parties" then do so but over time you will find you made this clan a barren and dried up place. i try my best to be active but i have so much going on i just cant do it. i got online on the 20th but no one was online so i assumed i had missed it due to time zone confusion. a pm would have been nice to let me know i missed it or it was still going on at the time. by no means am i trying to be mean but i give as much time as i can to this clan. i am behind on signatures and am overworked here at home and between it all i can hardly get a minute in edgewise. anyway sorry for the rant but i had to say something about all this.

BANING OUR MEMBERS IS NOT THE WAY TO MAKE THIS CLAN BETTER!!! WHY SHOULD WE FEEL FORCED TO PARTICIPATE THATS JUST TYRANNY!!! THIS SHOULD BE A FREE WILL TYPE THING SO BEFORE I SEE ANYMORE MEMBERS BANNED I WILL VOLUNTARILY LEAVE!!! THATS NOT A THREAT I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE THE NEAR BEGINNING AND I WILL NOT STAY TO SEE THE END. I LIKE YOU GUYS BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The Monthly Clan partys is the Most important Time of the Month, It tell Who is really Active and who isnt, Abviously i know alot of you are Active, and i never said ANYTHING about Banning anybody Yet. If you send me a PM why you werent Able to attend the Party and me and the Vice captains agree to it your Fine. If you dont then we know that your not up to date with everything. The point of the clan parties is to gather everybody up, Get to hang with the Clan, Have fun and Play Games for Prizes. Also we discuss of Future Ideas for the Clan, The most Important people who should come is of Course the Crew members, Which only 1 Came, Im still alittle Pissed off about that cause i Sent Word of it Maybe twice and here in the Forums, and 5 Had confirmed that they would come and only 2 came and 1 was a Voter out of the 5


the Final thing here is that i will Not check you IF YOU SEND A PM TO ME and the Heads and I Approve to it, If you cant accept it then Idk.

Thank you. i apologize for the long winded rant, but the point i was trying to make was we need to focus on rewards for our loyal members and not focus so much on banning not so active members, who knows maybe they are busy or something, and banning people just doesn't seem like the right way of going about things...

btw maybe we should make a archive sub forum to put threads with no recent post... like over 6 mo. old to keep the home page clutter to a minimum.

also shy i know you have worked hard for this clan, i don't question the direction you are going i just don't really approve of banning our members. least of all for inactivity. perhaps we should try to find new members because the only way to make this clan grow isn't to ban our members but to bring new members in. that should be a lesson to all of us. maybe invite once banned members back, and open our arms? not turn our backs to them like lepers.

also some members might not be able to find their way back since gaia did change the menus rather abruptly getting rid of the clan link but it can be fixed here ( http://www.gaiaonline.com/labs/ ) under "power user menus."

re invite our members and include that little tid bit of information, BC i noticed the clan died shortly after the menu change.

anyway thats my 2 cents the post before was not meant to be a personal attack it was just my opinion about the mentioned Baning to come.
