Though there was no real confrontation he watched as she had taken it upon herself to make herself at the ready. His eyes narrowed a moment and took it as an invitation. He had nothing against her what so ever nor did he had any really feelings towards her at all. Yet it was the fact that she did not speak that had caught his attention. It seemed that talking got cheaper and cheaper as he grew older thus the silence was almost a pleasant surprise.
The hand at the hilt of her weapons called to him as if a feint whisper echoed in his mind. Feeling his fingers twitch he could tell that he was slowly slipping away from his reality as the urge to cause bodily harm rose within him though he fought to keep his arms folded and off of his own sword. "You are skilled perhaps?...Show me.." At the end of his sentence he sprinted in her direction and jumped from his roof towards hers then vanished. In his place was several kunai head in her direction and they would not fall short this time.

Her lips twitched as he spoke, and she could sense his strange aura begin to change. Bloodlust, though not completely blatant. She did not reply to his question, feeling no need to brag of her skills. This was not one who would flaunt; though this was also because such activities would give away her secrets, and bring only ruin. Tsukutoshi remained still as he lunged, her expression not changing as he vanished and left behind more kunai. Her left foot twisted to the side and she raised only the kunai he had thrown originally. She deflected the first using the point, proceeding to twist to the side to avoid a second and third. Snatching the third from midair as it flew by, she used the circular end to stop the point of a fourth. The fifth, and what appeared to be the final projectile, flew harmlessly past her waist, narrowly avoiding making a tear in her sash. With two kunai in hand, she flipped the one in her left hand so the point was behind her, the other held loosely in the opposite direction in her right hand. She closed her eyes, seeming more to rely on her hearing and a gut feeling as to where the man would strike from next.

He had watched from behind her as she had gone into motion and caught the two kunai she let get by. She was unflinching though she nearly suffered a wound to her mid region. This was something he held in high regard even if he would show no sign of applause. She had trained well if she did not give to much of herself away but he felt that ranged weaponry was slightly easier to avoid then close combat. All and all the urge to spill blood continued to compile within him but even still he knew he could not. She was a ninja of the village thus her life was off limits unless an order had been given. Knowing this he flipped the kunai upside down, holding each by their blades then shot forward with rapid yet silent steps.
Thrusting one arm forward he sent the bottom of the kunai towards her lower back, along her spinal column. This would be quite effective for a fatal wound however he was striking with a blunt but small object which would mean if he connected she may have simply been stunned by the pain for a moment. Regardless of such, even he knew that this maneuver could be countered...He was more interested in how she might chose to if she knew what was coming.

The woman's eyes flashed open, and she spins just before the weapon was to strike. She swung away from the man so that he would need to pivot to strike her with the remaining kunai. Her arm whipped straight out, still holding one of his kunai, and stopping so that the edge was an inch from his throat. If he continued with his momentum he would pass the blade harmlessly and Tsukutoshi would continue to spin and point the kunai in his direction. He had been going for her spine; a strike there could injure her for life. Her eyes sharpened, narrowing ever so slightly on his back. This man was testing her, or at least holding back. His attacks had had too many openings so far.

He stopped moving and nearly smiled. She was as good as he thought she might be or at least capable of fending for herself. Learning this he wondered how well the Anbu he had met a few moments ago would have done. Ether way, he found himself in an odd predicament. However for some reason he felt like pushing he envelope and pushing himself into the blade. It would be best for his current situation but when it came down to it his mission had yet to be done and his death would come when it would be needed "Today is as good as any don't you think?" His eyes narrowed as he stood up straight. "Good as any..to die, though it is good to see that I am not wasting my time here"

The woman made no move yet, watching the man carefully with calm eyes. He was speaking of dying? Hah! She had no intention to die by his hand, or at all. At least not today. Her hand lowered slightly, even with her waist, and her foot slid slightly behind and to the left. Her eyes looked on the bit of forehead just above the nose as she awaited him to make a move. Tsukutoshi was on the defensive; she was not the challenger in this fight, and had no real reason to launch an attack. Not when she would swear this was all simply some sort of test.

He wanted to draw his sword but knew the consequences of doing such. Facing his demons was always rather difficult though he seemed to manage. Yet he could not keep his right hand from shaking. Turning away from her he took a few steps away and put his weapons away then soon pulled out a large dagger like weapon in a very slow manor as if he was trying to keep it within its sheathe. He was done playing for the test had been passed, now she was practice. As he held the dagger tightly his hand stopped shaking. Was he in control? Or something else. Swiftly turning around caused a horizontal slash towards your chest.

Tsukutoshi watched carefully, not missing the shaking of his hand. What was that about? Was he losing control, or did he simply shake like that? She couldn't tell, but it didn't matter. He drew a weapon, and though it was not exactly a sword, it was close enough. She didn't yet wish to draw her blades, and so her grip on his kunai tightened slightly. It was becoming more serious, this much she could tell by the battle aura, but it wasn't quite yet a death match. Her expression flickered as he began to walk away, and her arms raised in a sideways V-form, her right arm diagonally pointing to her left shoulder while her right hand was near her elbow and horizontal, as he turned and slashed. One kunai was up, protecting her face, the other pointed down to give a small shield to her abdomen.
She took a leap backwards, to create distance between her and her opponent. Her arms flashed about, leaving the kunai that was once in her right hand now clenched between her teeth. She used this arm to reach within the front fold of her dress, the one at her chest, and pull out three throwing needles, one between each finger. The tips were poisoned, though this was only one that would cause paralysis. Tsukutoshi made a motion almost like a slash, sending the needles flying in the Sannin's direction.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he missed but instantaneously pushed forward to pursue her movements and decided to press forward aggressively. As he noticed her hand reach within her clothing he clenched the handle of his weapon as he was to be sure not to be too close when it was time she revealed her attack or means of defense so he was at half speed. As she had let loose the needles in his direction, Kenzo loosened his grip and fluidly waved the blade from left to right three times. In doing this, which each wave of his weapon he knocked away the first two.
The third however was hit directly on the edge of the needles point at a diagonal angle. In doing so he caused the needle so somersault back towards you in a rapid rotation in the direction of your left shoulder.

The woman watched carefully, noticing the way he deflected her strike. She had one free hand, and multiple ways to go about it. The needle was moving fast, but as it was only a delfection, the speed was not as fast as it's original. The motion had been one of defense, not one in which the deflection had been planned like if he had struck it like a ball with a bat. She jerked to the right at almost the last moment, the needle flying off towards the other end of the roof. The kunai that remained her hand she threw now, aiming it at his lower abdomen. Her hands began to flash, starting with the Rat hand sign.

He suddenly halted and swung his blade to the left to deflect the projectile as he had done before. However he knew time would be ill wasted if he could not counter quickly. As the hilt of his blade passed his waste a subtle click could be herd though it was rather hard to pick up due to the sound of his constant motion. Swinging his arm back to the right he waited until his hand aligned with your chest before releasing the dagger, sending it flying towards your right knee. He had almost released the weapon higher, previously aiming for your throat but he managed to hold himself back enough to keep from making any attempts on your life. If he had failed to kill you then he would only wish to kill you even more though if he did in fact kill you then it would be a crime against the village. A loose loose on his part being that his urges were growing a bit stronger as the he continued within the fire of combat.

Her hands flashed into three more signs as he went about deflecting her attack. Holding off on any more, she notes the kunai flying for her knee. She cocks an eyebrow, almost disappointed at this turn of events. The fight was almost boring, with his obvious resolve not to kill her. Fighting for her life was always more entertaining than a fight for fun. She flips backwards, landing lightly on a pipe, heels together. Tsukutoshi remains quiet, nothing unusual at this stage, long enough to evaluate her opponent. A rare thing happened, and another person would be added to the short list of people who had heard her voice. "You are beginning to insult me. How can one make you fight seriously?"

Hearing her for the first time was rather unexpected though if he were in her position he would more than likely grow impatient as well. When it came down to it all he could not treat this as something serious though it was something that she wanted. All and all he would oblige under certain circumstances. Looking at his dagger a moment he grew a bit disgusted. It was nothing like the weapon he could bring out but he wondered if he should. Granting a nod he decided to throw caution aside for the moment and chose to answer. "If I comply with your wishes...I may over step my bounds.." He then threw the dagger to the ground as if it was worthless and pulled an empty sheathe from his back, throwing it into the air.
Making a few signs with his hands he exhaled slowly while the sheathe flew higher. Calligraphy covered in a ghostly flame began to circulate it, rapidly spinning about it as it somersaulted upward. A yin yang symbol began to materialize above then slowly began to crack. "If you are certain...then be sure you are ready"

The woman watched quietly, hands twitching to cross her abdomen. Her fingers tapped lightly at the hilts of her swords, waiting to see what would happen with the empty sheath. She leveled her gaze at her opponent, keeping an eye on the sheath in the eye via peripheral vision. "One such as you cannot be content fighting so restrained." she speaks again, almost a little surprised herself. "Come. You will not kill me so easily." pushing the hilts of her swords away from the sheathes with her thumb, she releases her blades from the catches that held them. She blinked, calculations running rampant through her mind.

"Then it begins" As these last words had been spoken, the yin yang symbol in the sky shattered into hundreds of glace peaces. Out from it came a blade that entered the sheathe flawlessly and caused the calligraphy to become absorbed and the sheathe to plummet to the roof top. It stuck within the roof, causing it to crack and allowing Kenzo to make his move. He had already begun to sprint for the blade as it descended when he saw a chain wrap around the blades guard and its sheathe. No more than a second later, the weapon was pulled from the roof and Kenzo was rushing towards you. His left hand held the sheathe while his right held the hilt and for him time seemed to slow.
He could hear his heart beat in his chest with every step as he shut his eyes while he came closer. His grip tightened then planted his front foot as he planed to draw his blade. Something seemed to whisper into his ear a phrase that even she could hear at that range. release me Drawing the blade, the chain that locked it to the sheathe shattered and his eyes reopened with a slight red hue along his golden irises. The blade left its resting place with great haste, slashing at you with a horizontal swing.
