I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure you that's not how babies are made.

Screw the morals. I'd be with you on that. If I was a woman I'd probably never get pregnant; as if that whole bleeding from the wrongest of orifices isn't bad enough.

I apologize for this post though. Normally my posts here are more formal than that, but woman anatomy is disgusting.

I never want to birth children. Ick. That just doesn't appeal to me at all. I wouldn't mind having a surrogate mother, but then that seems a bit selfish.
Definitely would rather adopt. Two kids, max. The world is big enough already without me adding to it. And with my genes... egh, just no.

My dad, though, grew up in a big family and he had a big family. I don't want one. Trying to support so many children and have enough time for each one would be difficult.

Definitely not a moral duty to have children if the environment will suffer for it. Plus, that quote from "GOD" was more of a blessing than a commandment.

I think if you want a kid, more power to you, so long as you aren't expecting taxpayers to pick up the dole like that one lady who keeps popping out kids.

It's one thing if something unforseen happens like you got pregnant in late 2007, the economy crashed and you/ your spouse lost their job; it's a whole diffrent story when you don't have enough reasonably left over income from before the baby and aren't doing anything to adjust for the diffrence then there's a problem.

If you don't really want a baby/ think having a kid's going to fix a relationship, are unsure if you can take care of a child (or have the slightest clue what a child entails) or feel it's a duty, it's wrong to bring a life into the world under those conditions.

My stance is it's my body, and if I say no kids that's it; no partner, cleric, social commentator or politician has the authority to overrule my vote. I can get contraceptives- even the morning after pill in emergencies- or have the bakery removed provided that I can prove that I have researched the risks and am of sound mind before scheduling the surgery.

As others have said the world's population is growing and the competition for resources is heating up. I throwing my lot with the voluntary human extinction group

My brother will not have kids because he is afraid he will be a bad parent, and potentially abusive. But he absolutely loves to play with his nieces and nephew. It is a little sad that he doesn't want kids, but he seems to have good reasons.

But a moral responsibility? No. Some people are better off not having kids. I wish some people in my town would stop reproducing. It's getting worse and worse as the years pass. They are rude and selfish and rather stupid. Some people need to stop skinny dipping in the gene pool...

And like OtakuJeannie said, some people use kids as a way to screw us all over. Octomom was absolutely uncalled for. She had no job, no husband, no supporters, NOTHING! And this doctor who thinks he can play god gives her 8 babies! He needs to be put out of the practice, permanantly. For someone who has a child and barely used WIC it is really annoying. Hard work means nothing anymore. Just put your hand out and expect everything to be handed to you for free! That should be America's motto now...

I'm going to sound like a feminist for this, but that's kind of offensive to me. I understand that people have preferences, but saying male anatomy is grotesque would probably make you mad. And I don't think that anyways, so if I said it I would be lying. *shrugs* I am what I am

stigma and prejudice cut both ways.

friends with little twins in a stroller were verbally and physically (spitting) abused by a dozen people outside the Statue of Liberty.

"BREEDERS!" the crowd jeered at them.
