Needless to say, Wil was NOT happy that Shin-Lu interrupted her fight with the....puff.....THING! I mean, she was doing just fine. He jaw locked in an angry grimace as she finally looked to Aphrodite. "And how the hell do you suggest we do that?" she snapped. Harness the power....what a crock! Wilhelmina had plenty of power in her fists without some scantily clad so and so telling her what to do....but the bit out of her boxing glove did make her think enough to actually accept help if it could be offered....she just wasn't happy about Shin-Lu's way of doing it.....or that it was Shin-Lu in the first place!

It really took all her mental self control not to be distracted by the sudden show of flesh. Her eyes had settled on Aphrodite just so she wouldn't look. AUGH! Why did Shin-Lu keep doing that to her?!

The girl with blue streaks didn’t look convinced; rather, she seemed to have a scowl glued to her face as she focused—for one reason or another—on Aphrodite. Intrigued with this, Aphrodite mockingly mimicked Wil’s expression, except it was more exaggerated and the glint in her gaze was vividly amused. “Staring at me won’t do you any good, you know,” she purred.

Shin-lu’s clothes began to burn away, the very sight causing the eccentric woman to tear her gaze away from the tomboy and onto Efreet. Her eyes lit up with glee as she clasped her hands together. Now that was what she was talking about! “Excellent. Excellent! That was exactly what I was telling you to do! Now, gather the fire in your hands. Create your weapon. Attack! You already have everything you need.”

The force of the transformation had blown the chompah a few yards away from the trio. It temporarily lay in a limp heap before it came back to conscious, albeit disoriented. Slowly it gathered itself again and growled, clearly pissed.

Shin-lu, or rather, Efreet, found her eyes moving over her own new attire. Tiny flames still licked and threaded across her body like fleeting thoughts half burned away. Trance-like her hand went to the horns spiraling out of her hair, then she shook her wings, marvelling as tiny sparks came from them, they were small wings, definitely decorative. Had she turned into a demon? For the first time in her life, Shin-lu had no idea what was going on and for a control freak like her, it didn't bode well.

Her attention returned to the flame in her hand. She felt it. the flame was like an extension of her body- an extra finger or leg. She flexed the 'muscle' and watched as the flame flared in response to the command. Then Aphrodite spoke again, the flame was a weapon.... it made sense, now, finally, everything that the woman had been saying. Conversation fragments fitting together.

Shin-lu concentrated. There was a raging flame, all consuming, all encompassing; it roared inside of her, inevitable and dangerous- a single spark could mean an entire forest destroyed- the danger of the flame was not in a quick temper. Shin-lu was no firey tempered child throwing about their power in a brash and excitable manner. Hers was the slow burn. Iron clad willpower reflected in her predatory eyes. Hardened, slow-boil temper.
A patient fire, like a volcano. Dormant for a time, but devestating when unleashed. To Shin-lu the flame came with control; a dark, roiling presence. It was not a spark, but a taste of what was to come.

Her attention was not on the happenings around her, so for the first time, Shin-lu missed Wilhelmina's transformation from innocent school to champion of peace and seductive water sprite. But what she missed visually she felt in the same place as her own new power. A connection that formed a harmony, a balance. The cold to the hot. And it scared Shin-lu, as her thoughts processed the idea Wil had always been an enigma to her- something that she would have- but was their mutual attraction nothing more than a bond between yin/yang? The thought gnawed at her.

The fireball seperated into five, moving to her fingers, gathering energy. Then back down, reforming with explosive potential. She threw the fire, aiming not at the chompah, but at the soda dispenser behind the creature.

Wil's powers seemed to react to her subconscious. When the soda and metal sprayed out from the machine the soda became a wall so nothing hit her. Of course since she'd closed her eyes on instinct she hadn't seen that. But she did see when the horrible little creature began to shriek the pop wrapped around its mouth to stop that horrible noise....needless to say she was a little taken aback.

After a moment of staring dumbfounded and the silenced bitey-thing she recovered and smirked at Shin-lu. "HAH! Seems my powers are a little more useful!" she sneered. Ah, seemed that stupor she'd hit wouldn't last forever. Perhaps it was the being better than Shin-lu that finally shook her out of it. Who knew if it were her mind or her pride that had shut her off....either would be highly likely.

Of course...with the bitey....THING detained and silenced...she was at a bit of a loss what to do....how else could liquid be a weapon? Wait for it to drown? That was a little cruel...bash it stupid against things? Again...a little cruel for her tastes....sure it was a vicious little bitey thing but.....Wil wasn't a killer, even if it was trying to kill her. Could she just like....put it in a cage or something and give it to the woman for safe keeping? Maybe she had a vault she kept them in....ah, but knowing Wil's luck it was unlikely. She couldn't help but look awkwardly towards Aphrodite. "Now what?" she bit out, reluctant to be asking that....rather sleazy looking woman for help.

The chompah, startled, blankly floated around in the ball of fizzy sugar water. Once it regained its bearings, however, the ball immediately wiggled and bounced around in the liquid sphere. Despite its rowdiness, the chompah still appeared to be fine. Perhaps it was a creature that could hold its breath for a long time? Aphrodite had no clue.

However, another chompah curiously and tentatively hopped through the front door, easily skipping over the fallen debris that littered the flow. It seemed that the pair of girls would have to learn how to handle fighting two chompahs at once. Aphrodite’s eyes glowed as she remained glued to her seat. This would be an interesting sight, to say the least!

“Kill it. Set it free. It’s up to you. Whatever you think is best.” She shrugged at Naiad, offering vague, useless advice. Then Aphrodite looked at Shin-lu, smirking. "I guess someone will need to carry around a lighter from now on?"
