There was a hard question Parva couldn't even remember herself and never thought about because it caused her a headache. "I...I do not...know..." she said slowly, wincing as she tried, for Tsong to remember how she came from Bharata to here. It hurt. And there was still a terrible shadow on what she was absolutely certain had been a long journey by sea, a shadow she couldn't not pierce for love, money, or beans. "I do not remember."
She shook her head to drive her mind off the difficult subject and to try to ease the headache. "It would seem you have met interesting Soquili, so I wonder that you have not found the right person. Have you, yet?" Oh, she hoped it wasn't someone else.

Tsong snugged Pavarti because it seemed as though she was in pain and sad. "I'm sorry for asking a question that hurt... I swear it wasn't on purpose."
He felt really sad that he'd upset the one female that he think he was falling for. With her question, he smiled a little bit. He looked into her eyes and whispered. "I met someone recently and I think she's more than awesome."
Smiling, he nuzzled her muzzle with his, hoping she understood what he meant. In case she didn't, he prepared for his next question. His eyes seemed to be filled with little stars as he gazed at her fondly.
"How would you feel if I said I was staring into the eyes of the most beautiful female in the world?"

Parva's sapphire eyes went huge as her deep red head blushed a dark garnet hue, and her eyes softened. "I would feel happier than I know the words in any tongue for happiness," she said very softly, looking into his light eyes. Her brain wasn't really functioning as she looked into the eyes of a stallion she was falling for as he was falling for her. For the first time since arriving in this land...since Ganesha was born...she was unspeakably happy and could put a name to her happiness. Love. Kama. She could understand it now.
"How would you feel if I said the same thing to you?"

Tsong was sightly shocked at what Parvati had said, yet he wasn't at the same time. After she finished speaking, Tsong's smile was ear to ear, possibly one of the widest smile that he could ever give.
"O-of course I'd be happy," he told her looking into Parvati's eyes. After he said those few words, he walked over closer to the shore and found a nice area of warm sand, as well as a perfect view of the soon-to-be sunset. "Next question from me.... Would you like to sit here next to me...?"
He looked over at her and smiled again. Honestly, he though he was possibly the happiest and luckiest Soquili in the world!

Parva smiled, walked over, and lay down next to him, snuggling close. She prehensilely draped her leonine tail across his hips as she settled down. "I would be honored to sit with you." She smiled up at him as she rubbed her cheek against his golden neck.
"It is my turn for a question...but I cannot think of any. None that I really want to ask," she added. "Hmmm...what is your favorite season here in these lands? I liked the end of the summer in India, when the rains fell, warm and long and life-giving, at the end of a long dry, dusty summer."

"Favorite season..." He flexed his wings a little bit to relax them. "Rain isn't my best friend because they have a tendency to dampen my wings too much... But I'd have to say, I love springtime flowers. They smell the sweetest and bloom the prettiest then. They make me smile."
Tsong remembered the season when he would turn into his mini-form and flutter from flower to flower.... That gave him an idea. Without a moment to waste, he turned into his little form and flew off. Just as fast as he had gone, he came back, holding the stem of a gorgeous blue rose in his mouth and then he changed back to his normal form.
"Will you be mine... forever," he asked Parvati as he gave her the rose. "I thought of the rose because it goes so beautifully with your eyes..."

It wasn't physically possible for Parva to blush any deeper...or at least shouldn't be...but even the white coat was tinged with a rosy hue this time, and she dropped her sapphire eyes for a moment from the gallant request. When she looked up, she had the softest and sweetest smile she'd ever had on her face.
"Yes, I will be yours, far longer than forever, and will you be mine that long?" she asked, taking the beautiful rose the like of which she'd never seen before, making a mental note to see the flowers with him next spring and pay especial attention to them with him. Which was an exciting prospect with a flutter mate.
(I think I'll make this my last post, since it seems a natural conclusion)

Moving his closer to Parvati, Tsong snugged her affectionately. "I don't know a better Soquili to spend the rest of my life with."
He was glad that everything worked out for the both of them. Tsong never expected to meet the love of his life while traveling, but he could do nothing else right now but enjoy the company of Parvati and enjoy the sunset with her.
As the sun continued to set, and the sky increasingly darker, going from a beautiful orange color, to reds, purples, and then finally that dark blue.
It was something beautiful to end the most beautiful day!
