Miss.Psyche What about Edmund? I picked him as my guide! biggrin I haven't added him yet (really was not expecting him as a guide). XD I have some information on how to complete Carl that I will add as well. It helps to reduce the chance of Carl rampaging and killing your entire crew but it will still be down to your luck whether you won't come across things that will kill one or more crew members. c:

Diedrich was my favorite but I opted to go for all the prizes. Carl was hard. D:

So far I've only managed one success and that was with Diedrich. With everyone else, I've "died of dysentry" before I even get to the sea. I think I've learned from it though.
I'm going to try Sam next. I want her medal 3nodding

I'm working on that, actually...I ran through the game several times with various guides to get the hang of it but I'll post up which options are best to choose as I come across them in subsequent games. Though...this may take a bit to compile and if anyone has anything to add, please do. c: And I'm not sure if each guide gives different outcomes for each option. But I'll give the best general opinion of what I feel is best to do. O:

Here are just some of the options I have come across, hope it helps with the list!
Prompt tells you there is a fire on deck:
Urinate on it to put the fire.
Throw meat on it and lose 3 hours, but gain 50 lbs of food.
(Haven't tried the last option yet)
You come across a ship with undergrowth, do you want to check it out?
Ohhh yeah: usually lose time. Sometimes if you hit ohh yeah you’ll find something, but usually not (for me anyway). yes: get ambushed
no: continue on.
See a vine growing on the mast:
chop it down: haven't tried yet
see what happens – get 5 ammo (always positive)
If you decide to become the pygmy ruler you the results will either be gaining loot, losing time or gaining speed.
Coming across pirates: fight them because they are usually noobs and you’ll get loot. But sometimes you will lose time.

unfortunately, my flash/shockwave/java is...not good and i can't play the hunting part, so i need ideas on how to last with just the food i start with and what i find. think of it as an...extreme challenge
