*Nova accepted the lock-up, but looked to back Matt up a bit, trying to get him into a corner or against the ropes.*

Matt got pushed up against the ropes he decided to counter by attempting to push Nova back and if successful he'd switch to a side headlock

*Nova was pushed back a little, but he was not falling for the same trick twice in one match, instead, he would fall back for an arm drag attempt on Matt.*

*Nova then attempted a leg drop onto the arm of Matt, from there, he would attempt to lock in an arm bar, placing his knee on the back of Nova's elbow to add pressure.*

The Leg Drop connects on Matt's arm he tries to pull it away but he gets caught in an Armbar by Nova he shouts out in pain as he feels Nova's knee dig into his arm

Matt wasn't well versed in submissions so he knew very little on how to escape but he also knew he didn't want to lose this match so he tried thinking of some way to escape from the hold while the pain was reaching a critical level
