Perhaps that would be right, Dante... since we don't want to promote him right off the bat... Perhaps we should promote whoever gets it; like a little through the next arc, like how Tetsunosuke was... >.> I know we're getting the official stuff done with first, I was talking in RP time... But yeah... I think if we don't make it fair, Dai might quit, or otherwise stop rping or something... I think we need to make it clear that the battle they're participating in, is one of Role Play Skill, and of originality. Not just to see whose RPC can beat up the other. The true victory is the literate one.

I agree with Angel. If it's a straight-forward duel, it'd be easy to see who is the victor. But if it's a duel of literacy and RP skill, then it'd be hard to make a decision, without causing the other party to feel as if they've been cheated.

I think that he was asking for a more detailed marking scheme as in what we would be looking for in the posts in order to decide the literate winner. If that is the case, it should be about the grammar, spelling, sentence structure, word flow and the like. If not, he could explain himself.
Edit: This post was supposed to be in response to Tiger but since that is not necessary anymore, I bolded the important stuff. Yeah, it would be hard but they would have to be objective about it as well. If a higher percentage of the crew agrees on one's RPing skills being better than the other, bias should be rulled out since it happened through a systematic, practical and objective method. ...for not even I own it.

But if it's a duel of literacy and RP skill, then it'd be hard to make a decision, without causing the other party to feel as if they've been cheated. Surely you're not implying that Kyo and Dai are so close in RP skill that claims against the contrary would make Dai rage if he lost? That's silly. It's obvious who is better, but w/e.

I know this is already a "I know who is going to win/I know who should win it" situation... I just wanted to make it fair to both parties... Unless Dai steps it up big time when it come to it, Virgil is going to win. . . xp
If we are judging on skills alone, and we choose the literate one, then the other one would be ignorant if they called us biased as a body of people coming together to vote on one thing.
