Personality/attitude: Jealous, Seething, False,
Character concept: Dew Blossom hates herself with a bitter passion. Born a basic color, she is intensely jealous of any others who are brightly colored or elaborately patterned, especially other doe. She doesn't hide her hate for other bright doe very well sometimes, but becomes friendly quickly if a bright buck is around. Her deepest wish is to get the most colorful and patterned buck in the swamp to be her mate.



Name: Moth Dust
Personality/attitude: Daring, Happy, On The Go
Character concept: When Moth Dust was younger, she accidentally stepped on a baby bird that fell out it's mother's nest. On that day, she learned about death, and how that everything, even she, would die one day. Since then, she crams as much life and experience as she can get into every waking moment, living as happily and fully as she can. This very often leads her to make foolish or dangerous choices, but she feels if death is going to find her one way or the other, she will dive into it's arms in the most spectacular way possible.




Name: Muck-and-Mire
Personality/attitude: Mentally Unstable, Paranoid, Delusional
Character concept: No matter where Muck-and-Mire is, the glowing, red fireflies follow him. These bugs, which only he can see, flash messages to him, which only he can read. Usually they tell Muck-and-Mire about how the other Kimeti all want to kill him because he's special, but they never tell him WHY he's special. He lives on the fringes of the other Kimeti groups, yearning to join them with all of his being but being too afraid. Most of all, he wishes red fireflies would just go away.

Name: Halfbeak
Personality/attitude: Eccentric strange flaky oddball
Character concept: To call Halfbeak eccentric is to put it lightly. This flamboyant character has always chosen his own odd, zig zagging path in life. Never having known any family from growing up alone, he tends to get clingy and prefers to assume everyone likes him by default. He is overly friendly, almost to the point of annoying at times. He craves interaction, friends, and love, and would even flirt with a turtle just because it has a slow getaway.


Name: Grave Moss
Personality/attitude: Silent aloof observer
Character concept: Grave Moss has always been the strong silent type. He's found the best way to survive is to always be watchful, and hear things before they hear you. Most at home in the shadows, he embraces the night and likes to be alone. He is strangely fascinated by death and the horrors of his naming dream still haunt and entice him to this day. Being around others puts him on edge, and he is very guarded because of a natural distrust of his own kind. Moss has a somewhat sinister vibe... his presence alone seems to compel other creatures to keep a distance.

Name: Ghost Orchid
Personality/attitude: Gentle, Quiet, Caring
Character concept: Orchid is a nature lover to the extreme. Although the swamp is a hardy environment, she takes great pains not to trample or damage plant life in her travels. She talks to the flora often, even to the point of apologizing at times to trees if a branch is snapped or hurt. Obviously, this makes her seem very odd to others, but since she would much rather keep the company of cypresses and ferns than other Kimeti, it doesn't much matter.


Name: Dawn of Time
Personality/attitude: Content, Serene, Resolute
Character concept: Dawn loves and is grateful for the swamp and everything it provides. Having gotten a glimpse of an inhospitable and harsh place the world once was in his dream, he is especially strong in the feelings that Kimeti should not leave the swamp, because it was created for them as a lush haven from the dangerous outside world. Though normally very friendly, he is very fervent in that belief and might frown upon those who disagree.


Name: Brave Little Otter
Personality/attitude: Brave, Loyal, Protective, Outgoing, Playful
Character concept: Aloof and energetic, Otter would like nothing more than to play around with friends all day and shirk responsibilities. However, she is extremely close to all of her friends and family, and would come to their aid at the drop of a hat if need be, even if it means putting herself in physical danger to protect them. Some might call her foolhardy, but she is extremely likable and never lacks companionship.

Name: Luminescent Rain
Personality/attitude: bright, cheerful, energetic
Character concept: Rain is sweet, gentle and refreshing to be around. She's very friendly with everyone and is compassionate to those who need help. She's very hard to anger, but if it is accomplished, she can be fairly tempestuous, though she would rather walk away from a confrontation than stay and fight.


Name: Burning Ice
Personality/attitude: Frigid
Character concept: Very withdrawn, she's cold to others, not having many friends. Her silence is less snobbish and rude than it is pure shyness and uncertainty about herself and her place among others of her kind. perhaps, if she can meet a special kimeti, she can become more like the first part of her name, rather than the last.


Name: Tiger's Eye
Personality/attitude: Protective, fiercely loyal, strong, brave
Character concept: Proud and fierce, Tiger views himself protector of all around him. He'd be first to charge at any incoming danger in order to give the does and foals a chance to escape. He isn't suicidal, however; he can think on his feet and easily come up with a plan to get as many kimeti safe as possible, including himself.

Name: Fire Singer
Personality/attitude: Bright and eager for attention.
Character concept: Convinced his colors make him easy to overlook, Fire Singer loves to attract attention other ways. He loves to pull a prank to make others laugh, or say something comical at an opportune moment. He'll sing a lovely song to garner acclaim... Attention and acclaim are his favorite things, and he will go to some effort to get it.


Name: Dances Under Stars
Personality/attitude: Mysterious and Secretive.
Character concept: Stars never comes out during the day, for it has no appeal for her. The night is her playground, and it holds no fear for her. She rarely encounters others, for she has yet to meet any with such a love for the night as her. As they tend to have little in common with her, she says little to those she does meet.


Name: Pepper Flower
Personality/attitude: Burning intellect, Social Ineptitude.
Character concept: Pepper is brilliant, clever, intelligent... And has no skill at dealing with those not on her mental level. She offends people at the drop of a leaf with her firey wit, burning bridges in moments, while in her mind, all she's doing is explaining how they missed such an obvious answer. No skills with others, she nonetheless yearns for some one to see the beauty inside.

Took me a bit, but worth a try!


Name: Dandelion Wisp
Personality/attitude: Flirty, Airy, Sweet, Playful
Character concept: Dandelion Wisp is at first quite illusive and seemingly mysterious when one approaches her, but it's just her way of getting a read on you before you can quite figure her out. She likes to size one up before she decides if she likes them or not -- if she doesn't, she'll just continue to toy with them and try to see if and how she can mess with them. If Dandelion Wisp does decide that she likes you, however, she becomes quite sweet and loving, and you can be sure that she'll make every effort to be a trustworthy companion and a loved friend.


Name: Dew Drop Sun
Personality/attitude: Go-With-The-Flow, Optimistic, Playful, Stubborn
Character concept: Dew Drop Sun loves to run, more so than most other Kimeti. When she can find it, she loves letting her tummy soak in a good patch of sun. She generally likes to look on the bright side and will assure you that, though things may seem harsh and cold now, it won't be long before it clears up and you will be happy again. Though she is stubborn in her optimism and will not budge to admit if a dry spell seems to be about, she is just as upset with other Kimeti who refuse to see that things will, indeed, become better eventually. Rather than continue to argue about differences in perception, though, she'll usually let it go and run off to find distraction from the frustrating situation.


Name: Misted Tunnel
Personality/attitude: Determined, Practical, Contemplative, Soft-spoken
Character concept: Misted Tunnel is not the kind to draw attention to himself, but that's not to say that he doesn't enjoy company or attention when he can find it. He rather enjoys conversation, and debate if it should arise, though he can can rather annoyed when someone brags or over-states looking for attention, or starts an argument just for the sake of it. He takes his time to consider all points of view, and would rather meander and soak everything in than rush around. Still, he welcomes friends of all shapes and sizes, and loves to see how others view the world he also lives in.
