Phoenixfire knew Landry was at ringside; to deny his presence would be lunacy. If there was one more stressor she didn't need, it was Landry riding her case. Phoenix thought he would've gotten a clue after the last match but apparently, old habits die hard. Phoenixfire took a deep breath in and redirected her attention back to the match before her, going for another knee to Mardy's gut. If she wanted to follow through with the next move she had in mind, Mardy would have to release her hold but Phoenix didn't dare hold her breath over that.

Mardy didn't stop Phoenixfire from kneeing her in the midsection again. This time, however, she made a move after. She drops her arm and leaves the lock up. Mardy makes a timeout sign with her hands and holds the side of her ribs.

Phoenixfire lurched forward after Mardy let go of the lockup but had no time to follow through with what she had planned because Mardy was calling a time-out. It shouldn't have surprised her but it did because she knew Mardy had something up her sleeve. What did she have planned? Phoenix got the vibe that Mardy was just the kind of person to deploy a clever ruse in a situation like this.

Mardy took her time out. She needed it, with Phoenix kneeing her in the stomach twice and all, Mardy was tired. What a pity. The match had barely begun and Mardy was wishing for an end to it. She finally stands upright after a long moment of breathing hard. Mardy looks back to Phoenixfire and puts her hands up in front of her face for protection in case Phoenix should do something.

((Sorry just got back from vacation...))
TGI Huk was too distracted by the others fighting he forgot all about Brody. When he turned he felt Brody's shoulder sandwich him into the turnbuckle.

Phoenixfire was forced to take a couple strides backwards by the referee. She let out a sigh and run a hand through her hair, frustrated and desperate for the tension of this match to break. Landry's presence didn't help things at all and with Mardy blocking her offensive, things only got worse.

Brody backed himself out of the corner, before trying to attack Hulk with a rush of rights and lefts to keep him in the corner. It may have been a simple offense, but any if it kept him from having to fight one of the two ladies, he was all for it.

TGI Huk got hit with a few of Brody's punches before he uses the turnbuckle to help him to attempts a dropkick to Brody.

Brody stumbled backwards from Hulk's kick, doubling over while he crossed his arms over his chest to protect from any further damage.

On the count of three. Ready? One... two.. three.. four.. five.. six. Wait. Something was supposed to happen.
Then something did. Mardy steps closer to Phoenix and tries a kick to the stomach. That was about as tactful as Mardy could be right now.

Phoenixfire was quite distracted during the match due to the two men in the ring and the one that was lurking outside of the ring. She knew Landry was up to something and she wanted so badly to find out what his ulterior motive was. This desire was so blinding that Phoenix made the error of taking her eyes of her target and found herself falling prey to a quick kick to the gut.

Landry shook his head dissapointedly, observing the unwillingness of all of the competitors to attempt to do damage to one of the opposite sex. He simply shrugged his shoulders, his lack of loyalty to the laws of chivalry only gave him an advantage.

The drawback to being as high as Mardy was tonight was that she had to think about everything before she did it. She had to think hard too. Chain wrestling was not the stoners way to go. In fact, how one wrestles to begin with is interesting in itself.
Mardy thought before trying to get Phoenixfire's wrist in a hard wristlock.

Unfortunately for Hulk and himself, Brody didn't notice TGI coming, and tried to snap himself back to a straight position. Their heads collided with force from both directions. Brody immediately dropped down to his knees and covered the back of his head, which had begun to the throb from the impact.
