I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera just washed away the thoughts of the man taking up one of the weapons in an attempt to harm him. He knew that if someone pulled a weapon on him it wasn't likely that they would get it off before he could take them down. But for some reason he wasn't entirely sure that he could bring himself to pull a trigger on the vaporeon, even considering the possibility of a gun in his face. It would be more likely that he would disarm the man and just get angry with him. Though he was positive that someone else he would have shot dead without a second thought, it was self defense. He assumed that it was because he rarely truly related to someone the way that he had Silas the night before when the boy had been so much more open. And he really did want to see that side of the guy again, it was nice.
Every single weapon that lay before there eyes was in fact custom made, all by the young weapons tech geek Dendera. He remembered every single detail of every single weapon in that room. Even the ones that were to be shipped off to someone else, commission work. Dendera walked over to the table where the massive weapon sat, running a hand over the long cannon barrel, caressing it lovingly. "It's a personal piece.." he remarked quietly, an explanation as to why it was impressive. "I've never fired a weapon this large, I wanted to learn how to." he said simply, it may have seemed like a very whimsical reason to build such a destructive thing but it was the truth. He had simply desired to know what it was like to fire something that large. Plus, it would be a nice addition to his collection.
"I specialize in guns but I make other weapons as well." he motioned around the room, it was an obvious assortment. He preferred to make original pieces, and most of them were but some were replicas that he had been commissioned for and for one reason or another accepted. He watched as it seemed that Silas was taking in all the details of the weapon. It really was a masterpiece in Dendera's eyes. They may have been dangerous and destructive but he truly cherished his weapons.
He took a seat upon a stool that sat in front of the work table for the cannon-like gun, his eyes roaming from the various parts and back to Silas's eyes. It was nice to see someone appreciating his work, especially someone that he actually wanted to get to know. He was actually tempted to give him something from the room but then thought of a better idea. "I could make something for you if you would like..." he spoke softly, almost unsure of offering it. It was something very personal for him and he wouldn't like to have something like that be rejected.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" He listened as the Umbreon went into a little more detail about the weapon and his..a cross between a job and hobby. Part of him didn't really care about what the man was saying, part of him did. Silas hated feeling so conflicted with himself, it was like two parts of him were waring with each other, and after just one night that he couldn't even remember. Was his 'self' really shaken up that much in just a short number of hours? What happened to all the resolve he had? Where did that go? The Vaporeon felt something, it was almost like a weight on his chest that nearly made it hard for him to breathe for a moment. He felt like he was nearing some sort of ...revelation? Within himself, or maybe it was his resolve just coming undone. Whatever it was, it was causing his legs to shake, though it was barely noticeable. His very core was slowly starting to unravel, all because of one night of being drunk.
It wouldn't be a sudden change, nor could he even tell any difference in himself now. Whatever was causing his legs to shake soon passed as the man made him an offer, pulling him out of his deep thoughts. He had been studying the canon, before he started studying himself, and it really was quite impressive. Silas vaguely wondered how the man could have so much patience to work on so many complicated objects, but he figured it would've been liking asking himself how he could remember so many music notes and finger positions for his guitar playing. It was just something the man enjoyed doing, a sort of 'love', like the Vaporeon's love for his guitar and music. That sort of 'love' and 'devotion' couldn't really be explained even if he tried to.
His eyes glanced over at the man as he spoke, but quickly glanced back down, focusing a little on the table now. "I can't accept your offer," he answered after a moment, though for some reason it didn't come out as harsh as he had expected it to. "I already have a weapon," he started again, reaching back with a hand almost automatically to where his dagger usually sat against his tail bone and lower back, "I've had it for a while." Although the dagger was something he stole, like his guitar, it was something he'd had since his days in the street gang. He had mixed feelings on it, as well. It both symbolized those days, how he felt then, and it was almost like the burden he decided to keep with him as a reminder, one to go with the scar on his back. He tried to keep his expression neutral, but it was one of both confusion and something he couldn't give a name to, pained maybe? It seemed that whenever he was around this man his expressions would show themselves. His shock, surprise, even blushing, which he never did. He didn't understand it, but he had a hard time lying to the man and keeping himself neutral like he could with everyone else.
"And it's me that you cut into" "But I don't mind"

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera picked up the largest part of the weapon, the 'barrel', while Silas responded to his offer. He was honestly almost giddy to get the thing finished. He balanced it upon his shoulder, aiming it as though he would fire it at a random wall for a moment before letting it down. He couldn't have explained it if he tried, but the different feelings that he got from each weapon he had wielded in his life all excited him. The devices made him happy and rather proud of himself for the ones that he had created. It made him even more pleased when one was created that he knew would be put to good use, and not just for bad things.
When he heard the vaporeon's response he had to admit he felt a little bad having his offer rejected but as he looked down at the weapons that rested on his own hips he had to admit that he understood, at least in a sense. Even if, and it was a big if, someone was able to create him hand guns that were better than his own creations that he continued to improve on whenever he got the chance, he still wouldn't trade them out. They meant so much more to him, a constant reminder of the man he had waited for over a span of years and part of him still waited to hear word of what had happened to him. Though in his heart he already knew that he was never coming back. The man had been a father to a boy who had lost his family, he had taught Dendera how to defend himself, how to care for himself, how to treat people, his memory was a lot to the umbreon.
He gave a small nod to the response. "It's alright. But if you do change your mind, the offer is always there." he said softly as he set the weapon back down on the table very lightly, obviously holding a great respect for the object. "Have you ever fired a gun before?" he asked after a moment of quiet, it wasn't really an important question but it did mean something to Dendera. Plus, he just wanted to know more about the man who had chosen to know him, rather than dance with him.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" The Vaporeon was vaguely aware of the man's movements in his peripheral vision, and that he was aiming the incomplete canon towards a random wall. Even though it wasn't finished and probably wouldn't fire, it still put him a little on edge, his body just a little rigid. He didn't think the man would fire at him, that's what he felt, anyway. But, even so, having any sort of weapon directed at him or near him still put him on edge. It didn't help much that he himself was unarmed, but that could probably easily be fixed since he was in a room whose walls was lined with weapons. He still didn't trust the Umbreon, but he felt strangely comfortable around the man, at least more so than around everyone else. Even his 'parents' weren't this comfortable to be around, but Silas had lost his trust and faith in them a long time ago. Over the years, they just became objects of sorts that took up space and happened to live in the same house as himself. All in all, if he had to seriously think about it, Dendera was probably the closest living thing he'd been to that he felt so comfortable around. Even his band mates weren't nearly as pleasant. Though, they were mainly 'partiers' and 'jokesters' of sorts, which he wasn't particularly fond of.
His eyes glanced back over as the man finished speaking, thinking over the question he was just asked. It was uncomfortable to think about, but his mind reviewed the past, looking to see if he actually had used a weapon like that before. "Once," he replied, recalling a particular memory, albeit it a fuzzy one, "a test to see what I could fight with." When he had first joined the street gang in middle school, he was going in as a 'normal' person. One that had never physically fought or used weapons of any kind. He started out as just a repressed and depressed kid, more than unhappy with his home life, like many were in that gang. Over time, though, he became more 'wild' and 'rebellious', stole a few things here and there, bullied some people, threatened some people, and actually laughed, genuinely laughed. It was a vague, but he got the feeling that he had done that very same thing for the first time in a long time last night, laughed and meant it.
Silas wasn't quite sure why the man had asked his question, it seemed a little odd to him once he got to thinking about it. But, he answered anyway, figuring it probably had to do with his love for creating and making weapons.

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera wasn't usually the type of person to just talk with someone. He was more so used to playing a game with someone, or selling his work. Not really just standing around and having a chat. So maybe his conversation sounded awkward but really it was just what interested him. "I'm guessing that it didn't suit you very well then?" it was more of a question than it was a statement, though that much was fairly obvious considering that it had been a one time thing.
"The first time that I fired a gun was when I was 5 years old.." it put a smile on the umbreon's face to recall a time when he had been so young and just enjoying himself even though he'd very recently lost his entire family, he just hadn't realized at the time exactly what death was. He understood it fully now and felt the full impact of his loss, but at the time he had been innocent and naive and just enjoyed the 'toys' that the man who took him in had to show him. But really the man didn't teach him for enjoyment, he taught him so that he would know that Dendera would be able to defend himself should anything ever happen to him. And Dendera was grateful for ever moment of it.
"The man that taught me was very protective of me, he wanted to know that I would always be safe." he gave a bit of a nod as he said those words, as though he was assuring himself of this fact. He hoped that wherever the man was, dead or alive, that he was sure in the fact that Dendera was able to take care of himself and that it was thanks to him that he was capable of such. These thoughts put Dendera into a more vulnerable and emotional state which honestly made him want to leave the room where all of his weapons were held.
"Breakfast is probably needing some attention." he said with a smile as he grabbed hold of the man's wrist. He wasn't ready to trust leaving any one in that room with all of his treasures. It was just something far to precious to trust to someone all by themselves. He led the man back up the stairs, locking the door behind them, all of his treasures safely locked away except for the ones on his hips. He released the vaporeon, flashing a smile to assure him that things were fine, that it had been pleasant, before he headed back into the kitchen to check on the vegetables and make them some plates.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" Silas shook his head a little as an answer to the man's question, he thought it was a decent enough way to answer instead of using words for a change. At the mention of the Umbreon's age when he first fired a gun, he was honestly a little surprised. How often did children that young actually use weapons around here, let alone something like a gun? He wasn't quite sure what he was feeling..sympathy? Whatever it was, he knew that curiosity was among the variety of things he felt. He found himself strangely interested in the man, part of him did, at least. There was still that other part of him trying to tell him that this wasn't 'like him', that he would ever 'do things like this'. He was so used to his routine now days, his 'usual' way of living. Ever since he got up with that hangover headache his routine had been thrown out the window. He was at someone else's house, which was rare, and he was talking with said someone else about things he almost never talked about, even more rare. Was this why he'd done so many odd things with the man last night? He couldn't remember all of them yet, only a few, but he knew and got the distinct feeling that he'd been severely..opposite of his 'usual self' last night.
The Vaporeon found that he could relate a bit to Dendera's words, though his situation had had it's differences, they were still fairly similar. It felt strange, this new tug in his chest. He didn't act on it, the thing he couldn't make out inside of him, but it was shaking his 'core' again, stirring things up little by little, bit by bit, piece by piece. Was he really so fragile? Silas continued listening, letting the man speak. He had the urge to say things, things he wouldn't normally say, but wasn't sure if he should say them. Glancing to the side, he uncharacteristically went out on a limb, "It..must've been nice, having someone like that, I mean." His voice was a little quiet, but still audible, and even he was surprised at his own words. What was he doing? What was he saying? He acted strangely around this man, but he didn't necessarily..hate it? It was confusing for him.
He briefly took note of the fact that Dendera had said 'was', meaning that the man was no longer with him? Silas felt again like he could relate to the man, at least a little. The Vaporeon didn't have long to think on it though, as the man spoke once more and grabbed his wrist, pulling him along again like he had done earlier. He didn't resist, he couldn't really find the strength or reason to in that moment. Part of him was still recoiling, but part of him entertained the thought that the man's hand was..warm, that it liked feeling the touch of another. He quickly shook it off, blinking for a moment as the man locked the door, smiled an assuring looking smile and started walking back down the hall. Silas paused briefly before following, it felt almost like his mind was trying to make up some sort of decision. Follow the man and see where this day was going, or leave the place. But, Silas's feet seemed to almost move on their own, following after the Umbreon.
He could smell it now, the smell of cooking vegetables as they found their way back to the kitchen. It was an old but familiar smell to him, something he hadn't had in long, long time. His stomach growled, almost on cue, to his dismay Pausing, another light blush rising to his cheeks in that instant.
"And it's me that you cut into" "But I don't mind"

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera made his way over to the pot of vegetables, when he lifted the lid the steam wafted through the room, filling it with the sweet scent of breakfast. He took a nice breath of the smell before picking up a fork to reach in and stab a vegetable. He picked one that would take longer to cook than the others, to be sure that it was nice and soft, good and done. It seemed like the food was ready now.
And its a good thing to because he heard a grumbling that he had to assume belonged to the vaporeon's stomach. It put a smile on his face, 'You're only human.' he thought about Silas, not saying it to him because he was fairly sure that it would only make those blushing cheeks redder. He reached up into the cabinets near the stove, pulling out two plates. He evenly split the vegetables on each, there was plenty. He turned the stove off and sat a fork on each plate, sliding one of them across the island bar to Silas, and placing the other in front of himself.
As he sat down at the bar a small smile came upon his face, "If it's alright for me to say so," he began, though he was going to say it either way, "It's rather cute when you blush like that." his little smile spread a bit more once he'd finished saying that, and then he began to 'dig in' taking a big bite of what he'd stabbed onto his fork.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" Silas walked over and took a seat at the island bar again, sitting where he had sat the first time. His blush had finally dissipated now that his stomach was quiet, though he was pretty sure the man had heard it, would've been hard not to with the place being as quiet as it was. He waited quietly, and patiently while the Umbreon checked the vegetables and sorted them into two plates. He couldn't help himself, eyeing the plate of vegetables curiously that had been pushed towards him. The Vaporeon couldn't really remember the last time he'd actually had a 'home cooked meal', or something that wasn't from a box of some kind. He almost didn't want to eat it, but instead just look at it. It didn't look bad, on the contrary, it looked really good, not that he'd admit it. But, some part of him didn't want the sight before him to go away, like he'd miss having a 'homely meal'. He almost scoffed at himself, he was acting so weird and thinking about weird things.
His eyes darted up from the plate to his 'host' of sorts, quickly coming out of his thoughts at the man's words. The blush that had arose earlier returned, though it was a bit deeper than when his stomach growled. Silas glanced to the side quickly, opening his mouth to attempt to say something, though nothing seemed willing to come out. What was he supposed to say? He couldn't think of anything. No one had ever said that to him before since he'd never really blushed throughout his life. After a moment, Silas picked up the fork and stabbed a vegetable while muttering ". . .shut up" before bringing it to his mouth, taking a bite.
His eyes were still looking off to the side, he couldn't bring himself to really look at the man yet. But, he blinked a bit at the taste that now filled his mouth. The food was...really good, as simple of a meal as it was. The Vaporeon took a few more bites, trying to keep his pace 'average', but finding it hard to. Not only was he hungry but the food was amazing to top it off, not that he'd admit that to the Umbreon either.

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera couldn't quite put his finger on it, but something about all the pouting and attempting to remain distant he just found to be adorable. It was probably his love for a challenge and the fact that he truly believed that the best things in life were the ones that you had to work for, and so working to be close to the vaporeon was pretty enticing to him. It was undeniably cute to him how hard Silas tried to act like he didn't want him around and yet, there he was not trying to make an escape or anything, almost like the guy was having trouble agreeing with himself.
The umbreon actually laughed when he heard him telling him to shut up, that was just too much. "Fine~ But you are." he teased briefly before shoveling more of the tender vegetables into his mouth. He hadn't really been paying too much attention to the vaporeon eating his food but he began to notice him taking at least a few rather swift bites, and the grumbling had ended. He had to assume that had 'hit the spot'.
He was fairly confident that the food was good, it was exactly how he liked it at least and he had been making meals for himself for quite a long time now so he'd learned to do it well enough for his own tastes, though he didn't usually cook for anyone aside from himself. He was fairly certain that Silas was satisfied but he figured that he would ask anyway, "Do you like it?" he gave a warm smile, happily awaiting the response.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" He finally glanced at the man, but it was only to squint at him for a moment while continuing to eat. Silas didn't usually eat everything he made for himself, his appetite wasn't usually too big, but for once he found himself eating more than usual. It wasn't like it was a completely bad idea, they were vegetables and he was pretty sure his body could use more of them. He wasn't too sure if it was good or bad, but at this point he'd managed to scarf down at least half of his plateful of food. His attempts to 'slow down' were failing him miserably. He didn't want to come off to anyone, especially himself, as someone who didn't have at least that much self control. But, given that he hadn't eaten in quite some time, he figured that was a good enough excuse for him to be eating faster than the average person.
His eyes darted back up to the Umbreon in the middle of taking another bite, glancing back to the side stubbornly as he replied, "...maybe." It wasn't exactly 'yes' or 'no', which seemed like the best way for him to answer. The Vaporeon realized his behavior wasn't really one a 'guest' should have, but even though he knew it he wasn't about to change his 'usual' behavior, even if he was in someone else's home. 'Home', he didn't understand the word either. To him the place he was in was just another place that someone else lived in, and from his point of view it wasn't some sort of 'treasure' or even something as publicly respected as a 'church', it was merely another room within many that held things that didn't belong to him. Silas knew the difference, and he knew that many people probably would've kicked him out by now, which brought on a question. "Why are you letting me stay here, and eat here for that matter," he said more than asked, setting his fork down as he spoke and looking at the man again.

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera was content with a maybe, because he was fairly certain that a maybe was really a yes in disguise. Because it seemed like the vaporeon simply hated to admit that he enjoyed Dendera, or anything about him. He was beginning to realize that Silas hated to admit any sort of attachment or pleasure or pleasant feelings in general. But he could handle that, it was challenging and difficult and as weird as it may have been, Dendera enjoyed that. It was much more fun than having someone falling all over him or so easily impressed by any little thing that he did. Plus it was just plain adorable to watch Silas struggle with himself.
He just smiled to the maybe and continued to eat his food, obviously pleased with the response and his meal. It was nice, he loved the warm tender vegetables. It had to be one of his favorite things to eat. The pleasant meal was interrupted with an odd question though. He wasn't really used to having guests, and he was even less used to being asked why, like that.
He put his fork down on his plate and brought an elbow up onto the table, resting his chin in a cupped hand. He looked at his companions blue eyes, how could the boy be confused by simple hospitality? Did he not know what it was like to have someone be nice to him? Dendera carefully thought out the answer to the question before speaking. "Last night, you warned me that you would be rude." he said finally with a small nostalgic smile. "But you wanted to see me again, and I wanted to see you again." he continued, "I told you that I could handle it, and I can. I enjoy your company." he finished. It was the best explanation that he had and he tried to be completely honest about it, sure that the vaporeon wasn't the type to appreciate lies, even the white ones.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" He was surprised, genuinely surprised at the answer he got. He had warned the man about himself? He was..perplexed, and starting to feel unreasonably angry with himself. Silas couldn't understand why, he really couldn't no matter how many times he thought it over, now staring intently at the plate in front of him. Why was he doing this, why was he here, why had he said and done such strange things that he was still unable to remember fully, why did he 'want to see' the Umbreon again, why was he shaking, why was he so angry? It felt hard to breathe again, was he going into some form of shock? Not a life threatening shock, but all of this new information and new turn of events was starting to hit him like a freight train. It almost felt like everything he'd been trying to do to himself, restrain himself was unraveling, and it was happening way too fast. Even though the man said things that weren't strange, weren't very unusual, they were still affecting him so strongly. For the longest time he'd been closed off, and just last night he'd said he wanted to see someone? It was a simple thing, but the fact that he even considered it was almost too much for him to comprehend. He never wanted to see people, never made 'pacts' of sorts like that with anyone, not since... 'What the hell am I doing,' his mind supplied bluntly.
The Vaporeon hadn't realized it until he somehow managed to pull himself out of whatever he was feeling, as overwhelming as it was, but his hand was clenched tightly on the counter top, the other gripping his pant leg just as greatly. His knuckles were almost white, and he had to blink a few times, trying to think of something to say or do, something, anything. "I...," he finally started, sliding off of the bar stool seat he had been on, the food on his plate forgotten, "I'm going to use your shower." Normally he wouldn't have said that either, but it was all his mind could come up with in it's current state. Without another word, he started walking towards the bathroom he had seen on his way to the kitchen, running as fast and quietly as he could up the stairs. Silas couldn't look at Dendera, and tried to keep his 'pokerface' on, as difficult as it was. But, his hands and legs were a little shaky, which he couldn't hide as easily.
As soon as he found the bathroom, he moved inside quickly and closed the door just as fast, trying to keep the actions quiet. He almost felt like disappearing, not wanting to be seen, by that man in particular. His eyes were staring at the floor, now leaning back against the closed door. "What..what am I doing.." he mumbled quietly to himself, clenching his teeth a bit.
"And it's me that you cut into" "But I don't mind"

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera stared with a dumbfounded look on his face as the vaporeon seemed to take his answer very harshly. He seemed so shocked by something so simple. It was beginning to click for the umbreon that Silas had issues with people, serious ones. He could tell that this wasn't just an anti-social or rude individual, there was more to him than that. Dendera couldn't put his finger on it but something was making Silas push him away with everything he had.
He was visibly shaken, even though all he had been told was that they had both wanted to see each other again, and that was such a simple thing. And it didn't take him long to rush off and disappear, saying he was going to use the shower. The umbreon was concerned. 'What's he so afraid of?' The umbreon could remember a time when he himself had closed off from people but it had been after a great loss, one that in the end had made him stronger, not fragile like this. So this was confusing.
For a moment he thought that he had no choice but to wait until the man emerged from his bathroom but he hated that idea, just leaving him to torment himself. No, he had to at least try to talk to him. Dendera got up from the table now, leaving his own plate and following after Silas. When he reached the bathroom he didn't hear any water running.
He decided to knock and enter, he made a couple of audible knocks and spoke up, "I hope you're decent." when he tried to open the door it was apparently blocked by something and when he slipped himself inside he saw what, the man had been leaning against it. He sighed, he wasn't sure what he was doing, and was worried that he might make things worse but it was worth a try wasn't it?
"Look, I don't understand what's wrong.." he started reaching out a hand to brush the back of it against the man's cheek, nudging him to look up at him instead of the floor. "But I think you want me around, so I'm going to be." concern was clear on his face but he was firm in his words. "You don't have anything to be afraid of."

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" Silas heard some knocks on the door he was leaning against, followed by words, but it wasn't registering too well. If anything, it only made him worried. He didn't want to be seen, not by anyone, especially not like this. Only one person had seen him anywhere near how he currently was behaving, and having someone else see anything like it just put him on edge. It probably wasn't a big deal to anyone else, but he'd never shown himself so distraught in front of someone else in his entire life. Never had he shown the side of him that was..weak? Scared? Was he really scared? It almost reminded him of when he was much, much younger, hearing his parents yell and argue all the time. It sent razor like shivers up his spine and made him want to fiercely recoil away from it. Though the fear felt quite a bit different from those times, it was still just as effective.
He felt the door open and then close with the weight he had on it, which he didn't want more than anything. The Vaporeon specifically came to the bathroom to get away from the person that was breeching his 'walls', destroying everything he'd built around himself, piece by piece. Some small part of him wanted the Umbreon to confront him, the part from last night? Is that what it was? The rest of him was torn between recoiling, running and lashing out. He didn't know what to do, his mind and heart were racing.
Silas kept his eyes trained intently on the floor until he felt something warm brush his cheek. It felt both familiar and completely foreign, and if he wasn't 'cracking' like he was he probably would've blushed. His eyes finally met the strangely familiar red ones, almost luring him in like they had the tendency to do. His own eyes widened a bit at what the Umbreon said, tears beginning to build up on their own. It only confused him more, especially since he never allowed himself to cry. The words made perfect sense but he still couldn't understand them, or maybe he was fooling himself and was trying to keep himself from understanding them. He knew what they meant, all too well, he'd heard something similar before. It was that memory that brought it back, and the scar on his back was aching.
It was probably best that he hadn't brought his dagger along, because if he did, he surely would've used it right now. Silas's eyes widened just a bit more before narrowing instinctively, swatting roughly, and quickly, at the hand against his cheek before sending his other as a fist towards Dendera. It was almost automatic, except what he said next seemed to come out on its own. "I do!" he yelled, his voice unusually unrestrained, "You'll turn your back on me, like everyone else!" That was it, he couldn't hold in the tears anymore, they finally overflowed as he reached for whatever he could get his hands on and make a weapon out of. The closest thing he could find was a towel bar, pulling it out of place and holding it up defensively, instinctively repositioning himself before lunging at the Umbreon to attack. His body seemed to almost move on its own, like it was on autopilot. His mind was overwhelmed, all his body could do was try and get rid of what was 'threatening' it. Though, that small part of him from earlier was screaming at him to stop.
"And it's me that you cut into" "But I don't mind"

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera became worried when he saw the tears welling up in the man's eyes. He hadn't expected that sort of reaction from him, it was obvious that whatever problem the vaporeon had it was very serious and had a pretty tight grip on him. But soon after the pretty blue eyes began to water, the umbreon's hand was swatted away.
He could understand someone like Silas being upset about crying but it seemed like the boy was about to just snap. And then those words came that painted a much clearer picture than the tears that were now flowing down the man's face, though Dendera still couldn't be sure what was happening. It had at least become obvious that Silas had some very deep rooted trust issues and had apparently been let down all his life.
He wasn't sure why but something in him was just begging him to be the one to change that for the boy. But he didn't have long to think about it as he was lunged at, with the metal towel bar that the vaporeon snagged. Dendera didn't want to fight with him, and refused to. He dodged Silas's efforts at bringing him harm, obvious the boy just wanted to be rid of the thoughts in his head, Dendera couldn't get rid of them for him but he could try to reassure him.
He got behind the vaporeon, knocking him against a wall, firmly but not violently. He snatched the towel bar, throwing it off and heard it clanging in his shower. He turned Silas around and pulled him close, holding him tightly against his chest and whispering into his ear. "I'm not going to hurt you, I'm not going to let anyone hurt you." he held him tight, pressing him against himself to assure him and to be sure that he couldn't fight him anymore.
