The larger shadow (much larger) followed after the smaller one with slower, quieter steps but it didn't need to walk very far. Two thick vines emerged from the large flower on it's back and snaked towards the other bag.
It carefully undid the clasp holding the bag shut and slipped a vine in to poke around, occasionally pulling out something that was either unedble (a can of bug-spray or a first-aid kit) or something that could be eaten (some dried meat or some fruit).
Unfortunately, the large shadow didn't find much and it dropped the bag with a great deal if disappointment. All it found were mostly metal stuff and glass stuff. Some of the stuff he stuck into his mouth to try didn't taste good either.
Finished searching, the being glanced curiously over at it's partner to see if it found anything.

The small shape had gotten itself stuck in one of the packs briefly. As it tried to escape, it bumped into a pile of sticks and pokeballs, which caused a racket capable of waking the two humans and their pokeballs.
"Ch-chika..."
Nyx stirred, though still in a daze. "Whaa? What was that?"

"Saur!"
A deep voice rumbled softly as it grabbed and pulled the tiny shadow free of the pack with one of its vines. It was gently placed it behind the thick brush surrounding the campsite but, not soon after, made sure the human that had awoken went right back to sleep.
Planting heavy feet firmly into the soft ground, it started shaking from side-to-side like a dog as a soft blue powder floated from the object on its' back and towards the group in the camp.
"Piii....ka?"
"Mmrph..." Jen poked her head out of her sleeping bag at the crash to see the outlined jumble of mess. What the-?
But she didnt get a chance to really think anymore.
The soft dust was swiftly inhaled, jen sneezed once (aeon too) before both were out like a light. Heavy snoring rangout from said sleeping bag from the two.
Yamir, above, was somehow spared of the sleeping dust; having had tucked his head under his wing sometime during the night. Wide-awake, but feigning sleep still, he kept an ear out on the intruders of the camp.

Nyx let out a big yawn as she sat up, which was coincidentally the same time that the large shape started shaking blue powder onto the small camp. When she opened her eyes and saw this, her hand flew up to her face to cover her nose and mouth.
"Ahh mphh..." Everyone was sleeping, and there was a giant monster attacking them. Nyx tried to scramble out of her bag and grab one of her pokeballs, but they were closer to that monster than to her. "Mmmmmph!" Maybe screaming would bring help.
Langley was in a similar situation as Yamir, since both of the pidgeot slept with their heads tucked, but he had actually been sleeping. He woke up when Nyx screamed.
"Pigooo?"

Yamir jerked into battle mode at the scream for help; like a knight in shining armor, he was ready to defend the humans and his friends.
Off like a shot he was, so much so the bark was ripped off the branch rather violently; with a harsh battle cry, the dark Pidgeot dove straight at the large shadow with his talons outstretched.
The larger shadow bellowed a return battle cry at the demonic-looking shadow above it. But it did not get time to really jump into an aggressive stance: the shadow dove down too fast, too soon. A yell of pain echoed from the shadows it was hiding in as Yamir ranked it with his talons.
But the battle rush had set in.
And Yamir never saw the counter coming. With a squawk of surprise, he was thrown into a nearby tree when several thick vines suddenly lashed out at him.

Langley flew off of the branch he'd been perched on and flew around to attack the large grass type from behind. As Yamir was thrown back, Langley had just started his dive into a wing attack. There was no battle cry.
The smaller grass type who had been placed out of harms way previously, saw a pair of birds attacking and shuffled out from behind the bush. "Chika!"
It turned its head up to the sky and released a ball of bright light that rose and shone bright like a miniature sun. "Chikaa chika!"

The light does, indeed, tell all tales. And this light revealed the two pokemon that had invaded the campsite:
Renewed under the bright warmth of the Sunny Day technique, a large Venusaur shook himself with zeal as the petals of the flower on its back seemed to reach towards the light. They even seemed to be....
Glowing?
Yamir regained his sense of thought and righted himself just as this forewarning flared up. With a squawk of warning towards his friend, Yamir flailed to take off and dove out of the way, just barely, as a stream of white-hot light shot over the campsite.
Despite the calls of the pokemon, the screams of her partner and the smell of steaming water from where the light had hit the lake, Jen was still out cold.

Nyx finally escaped her sleeping bag and scurried over to Jen, hoping with all her might that the two wild pokemon were distracted by their Pidgeot. She grabbed Jen under her arms and started to drag her away from the battle.
Langley glided over the lake after his attack hit and started to come around again. Luckily the wind was carrying him and he had a chance for his eyes to adjust to the sudden sunlight.
The Chikorita noticed him and swung her leaf around in a razor leaf attack, flinging small sharp leaves at the bird.
As he glided back around to the camp he stopped and started to flap furiously towards the two grass types. He cried out as the sudden onslaught of leaves stabbed and sliced him, but kept flapping. Nyx and his friends were in trouble.
Both humans would probably recognize the coming winds as a twister attack.

The Venusar was not taking any chances with the incoming Twister. He quickly grabbed the Chikorita and placed himself between her and the harsh winds, clearly ready to take the full brunt of any attack for her sake.
"SAUR!"
But no defense was without a counter to it: Several heavy vines went flying towards Langley as the flower on its back started to glow again.
Jen woke up to the sounds of pokemon yells (and the fact that she was being dragged across the ground) before wiggling free of Nyx's grasp. She turned to toss a glare at her partner; "HEY! What's the bi- .......... HOLY SNAP!" when the giant pokemon fighting with Yamir and Langley caught her attention. It wasn't everyday you saw a wild pokemon who could stand up against a double attack.
"W-what!? What the hell is going on?" She dove for cover with Aeon as Yamir went flying past to launch an Aerial Ace attack at the Wild Venusaur.

Langley went flying into the water as the Venusaur's attack smacked him around. "G-geeoo...." He floated to the top of the lake and remained there, a wet feathery mass in the water.
"I don't know! I woke up and THESE things were here!" Nyx looked over and noticed that some of their pokeballs had been blown closer by Langley's twister attack.
The Chikorita wasn't one to just be protected, even though the Venusaur was doing a good job of it. She climbed up onto his back, to the side of the large tree-flower, and waved her leaf again, this time spewing purple dust at the nearest bird. The black and white one.

Yamir made another dive towards the two pokemon but squawked and flapped violently in retreat at the sight of the purple powder flowing from under that pokemons' flower. Poison and Pidgeots did not typically mix very well.
And with Langley down, he was now fighting solo against two; Jen below, however, was prepared now that she and Aeon were awake.
"Aeon!"
"Pikachu!"
As Yamir backwinged over the humans, Jen tossed the electric mouse at the large bird; Aeon was caught and shifted position so he was riding passanger. Set, the two veered back towards the plant pokemon.
"Yamir! Use Heat Wave! Aeon! Jump off and use Mega Punch on the Venusaur's partner!"

Nyx grabbed one of the pokeballs nearby and went to release whatever was inside, but it was empty, and there was a little N6 engraved into the button.
Langley splashed in the lake as he tried to wing-swim his way to shore. If Nyx knew where his pokeball was, she could return him to it, but this wasn't the case.
The pikachu's attack hit dead-on the Chikorita, and she was sent flying in the direction of the two humans. She landed hard on the ground, skid, and rolled over herself until she came to a stop. The pokemon was down for the count and not getting up any time soon.
Nyx looked at the little pokemon. She'd been wanting a grass type... That Venusaur would be ideal, if it had been a Bulbasaur. Trying to train a fully evolved pokemon was difficult at best, impossible at worst. And if it knew solar beam, it was far out of her skill range. But really... Newton was out of her skill range. No matter, Chikorita was just as good. Nyx threw her ball and the pokemon disappeared inside.

The Venusaur roared at the two pokemon; when Aeon sent the little plant pokemon flying off his back, the giant Seed Pokemon was quick to return the favor by grabbing and tossing the intruder away into the water.
"PPPPPIIIIIIIKKKKKKAAAAAAAA!"
SPLASH!
Unfortunately for the two Rockets, the Venusaurs defensive stance fell as soon as he watched the Chikorita disappear into one of the humans' pokeballs. He stared, stunned for what seemed liked an eternity...
But it was mearly the calm before the storm.
Eyes narrowed dangerously, the Venusaur threw its head back and let out a scream of rage, one that rang out throughout the entire area. Yamir quickly backed off and flew over to where Jen, Nyx and his pokemon friends were. In the water, Aeon was attempting to help push Langley back to the shoreline.
"Um....Nyx?" Jen stared at her friend and the offending pokeball. "I dont think you should hav-"
The earth suddenly started to shake violently, sending Jen flying into the ground.
"WHAT THE?!"
The Venusaur had started stomping down on the ground with all of its might, all the while glaring at the intruders that had stolen he's companion. Little fissures were starting to appear around the campsite and growing larger by the moment.

"AHHH!" Nyx stumbled as she grabbed her new pokeball and the ground began to crack and darted up a tree. She was quick for such a bumbling little thing. "Jen, take care of that thing!" It wasn't like she could do anything... well, she could. But it was doubtful this soon after capturing it that the Chikorita would fight her friend. All of her other pokemon were too close to the Venusaur for her to get them. So she just clung to the trunk of the tree she climbed up on and sat there on a branch.
With Aeon's help, Langley eventually reached the shore. He didn't wait to dry himself off before he started flapping up another twister attack.

"WAIT! WHAT?!" Jen stared at her friend in the tree before she was, again, thrown off her feet as a piece of earth jutted its way upwards.
"Dammit!"
She clamored to her feet as Yamir swung by and swung by low; as he slowed down, the trainer grabbed a handful of feathers and launched herself onto the pokemons' back. As the two rose well out of earthquake danger zone, the Venusaur started to launch wave after wave of vine whip attacks. Twister seemed to be doing very little damage against the angry pokemon.
Wait....
Thats it!
At his trainers' change of grip, Yamir cocked his head to the side. "Yamir! Take advantage of the Twister winds!"
"Geo?"
"Its time to try out that new TM I got ya."
A sly wink and Yamir finally understood.
The giant bird pokemon started flapping like now tomorrow as the simmering aura of heat was generated around the pair.
