Anime_Monster_797 Scraight Up Anime_Monster_797 There's actually one covenent: Elites. Because the Hunters, Grunts and Jackals are a different species including Drones. The Hunters, Grunts, and Jackals just have Covenent technology. But Drones are still Drones just "Drones with guns" The story with Hunters and Grunts are completely different, the Hunters obviously must have lived on a different planet since they need equipment to be in the presence of Covenent and species. Same with Grunts. You see alot of Jackal snipers because their senses are acute and are equiped with shields, PPs, etc. since they're, well.. wimpy. The whole entire bunch of species are just called Covenent because they all serve the same cause, except where some of them betray the Elites and the Grunts. A.K.A. End of Halo 2. Brutes are of the Covenant race too then, right? Also, my favorite Covenant are Jackals because they give me sniper rifles. No, but they serve the same cause until they betray them. Oh, because they serve as high gaurds for the Prophets and everything I think they would have to be prett ywell trusted unless the Prophets aren't even real Covenant.

Wasn't the covenant a collective of different races all serving one purpose?
So this would include brutes, right?
I dunno, I might be wrong. I haven't played campaign in ages.

I dunno, I might be wrong. I haven't played campaign in ages. Yes that's true but it would make sense that the Elites were the first ones to form the Covenant because in the first one, Halo 1, there were nothing BUT Elites.

grunts... cuz they sound cool, and say cool things, and if you kill their leader and then walk up to them with a big weapon they start running away like little pussies

I like the grunts because they are really funny and really pathetic when you kill thier Elite leader. But I also like the Brutes and hunters because they are fun to mess around with and fun to kill.
P.S. I think they really fun to kill on legendary!!!!

Hacky Sacking Link I like the grunts because they are really funny and really pathetic when you kill thier Elite leader. I think they really fun to kill on legendary!!!! d00d, grunts are annoying as HELL when you face them on legendary... or is that jackals... or drones...
