The stallion nodded, ducking his head down again to munch on another fruit. "I'm glad you're alright. Next time, I'll go with you. I don't think any waves could knock me over so easily."

She mulled this over long and hard. She was sad to say more afraid of the ocean that she was of anything else in life. A slight wiggle of her lower lip was noticeable for a brief moment before she set her jaw firm. She'd have to suck it up and will herself to get over the ocean some time. Nodding she gave a small smile. "I guess we could do that..."

Illidan let out a soft grunt of acknowledgment, snuffling about for more fruit. "We could go sometime when it is light. Maybe it won't frighten you so much then." Yes, he'd seen her small signs of fear.

Nodding she nudged a fruit over to him with her nose. She'd had her fill of the fruit now and was busily snuffling at the more tender grasses she could find. Nibbling at the grass, she thought some. "I guess day time would be nice to go.. the water won't be so dark.. but.. I still admit.. I'm pretty sure the ocean and I aren't very good friends... Though.. I'll have to at least try to get over my uneasiness of it.."

"Yes.. but.. well it was day time when I had that particular mishap...." Waving the thought aside, she smiled once more. For her the ocean seemed like it would be her small weakness the one thing she liked to look at but feared to enter. "When do you think we could go?? I mean definitely wouldn't assume when dawn reaches us but I'm curious.."

Illidan shrugged, one wing twitching. "I suppose we could go anytime. I have no pending engagements." He moved to rub a shoulder against the tree, the bark easing a bothersome itch.

"Oh? Hmm.. Then maybe we could go in the morning.. Not like I really have anything to do really." Smiling she buried any dark thoughts of the ocean aside and returned to nibbling on the sweet tender grass she'd found.

"Morning would be fine. I have not seen a sunrise in many years," Illidan chuckled, smiling a bit at the mare. "I do see, you know. Just not like I once did before I allowed myself to be cursed into this form. I am curious to see what a sunrise looks like with these eyes."

"Hm... maybe we should find a nice place to watch it come up then, eh?" She thought some. where would be a nice place and still keep him from feeling too overwhelmed by the waking soquili of the land coming out for a morning graze. It hit her. "How about we go. to the edge of the forest before it gives way to the beach? It'll be a bit of a walk but I'm sure we can make it there in time."

"True. Shall we then? That is if you're done munching on fruit." She turned and looked off as far as her sight would allow giving the lack of moonlight under the canopy of the trees.

Illidan fell into step with the mare, giving a soft snort to the night air. He stretched out his wings then settled them against his back. "Lead the way, Shoshanna. You know this territory better than I."

Chuckling some, she walked trough trees and bushes, pushing through some of the denser undergrowth. Stopping briefly, she lifted her nose to the air and took a deep breath. Nodding more to herself than anyone else, she turned slightly and continued to walk. She'd grown use to navigating with the aid of her nose on the nights the moon gave little light.

Illidan followed the mare, mindful of her long tail, and took in the night with his own unique senses. He was better suited for the darkness, had been even since he was a foal before he gave in to the curse that had made him what he now was. His friend was of the day, though, and he would brave it to help her overcome her fear of the ocean.
