Rivener would have snickered, if he wasn't trying so hard to look like he hadn't noticed the Fire Sigel's behavior. it was clear as water now: Laz had a crush on Xiu! But he didn't want to admit it or something? Or maybe he didn't realize it was more than friendship yet? Whatever the case, Rivener decided he'd best stop picking on the poor Lazarus about it. ...As fun as that might be.
"Well, come on, it's not like Xiu lives at my house or anything. It's nice to see him, but I don't meet up with him all that often. I see YOU a lot more than I see him, so don't worry, you're still first in my heart, Laz!" Rivener gave an overly-dramatic gesture, placing his hand over his heart and batting his eyelashes prettily. That lasted about half a second before the Scorpion gave in to laughter, waving off that entire discussion. "You're just too shy, Laz! You could have lots of people visiting you at home if you were a bit more outgoing. In fact, I'm sure Xiu would LOVE to see you."
Their drinks arrived then, and Riv hurried to take a sip of his own. The warmth spreading through him was becoming more noticeable, Riv's muscles relaxing as the alcohol took effect properly. Ahhh, he did so love their monthly tradition!

Lazarus just makes a face of disapproval at Rivener, narrowing his eyes and drawing his lips into a straight line, indicating that what the scorpion said wasn't funny. He knows that Rivener was joking all thanks to that over-dramatic gesture. It did however, lighten up the fire Sigel's mood a little. But still, the mere thought of being the first in the scorpion's heart just disturbs him so. Mentally he tried to remove the imagery from his mind and focus on Rivener's next words instead.
Him? Shy? Giving it some thought, he realized Rivener was probably right, although he prefers not to think so. His face was already slightly redden from the effects of the alcohol, but he still couldn't help it and darkens a little when Rivener mention about Xiu loving to see him. Rubbing the drink's glass with his thumb, he wondered momentarily if the white Sigel really would. "I guess... having him over would sound fun. But... what should I say to ask him over? And... what to do?" He would hate it if it turned into some awkward situation. Although at the same time, he is still hesitant about being alone with him. Would it be like a date or something?
Frowning, he wondered why did that thought crossed his mind at all, Xiu is a guy for God's sake, and he used to be so paranoid about being together with guys. Like when Rivener touched him. Having being reminded of the incident, his crimson eyes trailed to the scorpion warily. Well at least he isn't so touchy-feely anymore. He wondered if Rivener had someone else to get touchy-feely with. But somehow, he didn't hated the idea of being touched by Xiu...
What was he thinking? Shaking his head as if to shake the idea off his mind, he took another gulp from his glass, feeling the warm sensation spreading from his stomach.

Rivener grinned. Laz was bluuuuuushing! Not just because of the drink either, it was obvious! With a snicker the Scorpion finished his glass and raised a hand for another, well on his way to being full-on drunk now. If he weren't, his amusement at this whole situation wouldn't be as clear as it now stood, with that sparkle in his ruby eyes. He could almost READ Laz's mind, both about how relieved the Fire Sigel was that Rivener wasn't constantly trying to molest him anymore, and about how eager he was to have Xiu visit him.
"Well, let's seeee. To ask him over is simple, you call him up and say something like Hey Xiu, want to come over and hang out?. Then what to do... Xiu is a smart person, he likes to learn things and whatnot. Soooo, maybe some kind of documentary you two could watch together? Or if you wanna go out somewhere together, I bet he'd like going to a museum! Or a carnival! Xiu's surprisingly attracted to fun things sometimes too. Like that stupid anime convention, he totally wanted to go in just because of all the people in weird costumes, they caught his attention. So a carnival might be nice! Big machines that spin and go round and round.... Ah, there'd be lots of kids having blissful fun there too, so Xiu could probably feed til he's stuffed! Yep, a carnival is probably the best thing. You should totally take him to one." The fourth screwdriver arrived sometime in the middle of all this, and Rivener drank from it deeply as he considered the wisdom of his own words, nodding. Yep, yep, that was a good idea.

It was pretty obvious that Rivener is having waayyyy too much fun with this, and Lazarus couldn't decide whether the scorpion is just teasing or if he's really helping. But judging from the long rambles and the way Rivener talks, he is halfway down the path of being drunk, although the same could be say for him too, minus the drunken rambles.
Lazarus pondered Rivener's words for a bit, documentaries are Kyou's kind of thing, not really his, although he do watch sometimes. Museum sounds nice too, since he never been to one, although... he doesn't have a strong desire to visit one either. Now a carnival on the other hand... "A carnival huh? That actually might sound fun." The last time he was at one was during the Valentines event a couple years ago. But then again, it wasn't a full blown carnival like the actual ones. He would like to get on a merry-go-round for once, or even visit a haunted house. Momentarily he wondered if there would be the love boat attractions there as well. But then, he realized a problem. "But there aren't any carnivals on Gaia right now. The one on Gambino was closed down last month for renovation, I heard they were going to be closed until next year." Although, there were travelling carnivals or circuses occasionally that would stop in Gaia, but that wouldn't happen until autumn usually. So... they hit a road block?

Rivener merely nodded at Lazarus when the other Sigel agreed that a carnival sounded fun. Of course it was a good idea, Rivener had thought it up especially to have fun with Xiu! It was especially thought up, so that made it a good idea. Rivener took another gulp of his drink, grinning. He could be so smart sometimes! He was like, a date guru or something? Hahah. Funny, since he himself hadn't been on enough dates to become a guru. How many dates did that take anyway? Riv should look that up. And then take Zul on that many dates. So that he could officially be a guru.
But oh, no carnivals? Riv frowned, trying to keep positive. "Uh... I'm sure there's other carnivals than the one in Gambino! There's one in Barton, I went there once with Sevvie. We got tattoos, the kind that rub off, that time! It was a lot of fun. But maybe that's just a summer one? ...Was it even in Barton? ********, I don't remember. I'll check. But yeah I'm sure there's more than one carnival!"
Hoping to encourage his buddy, Rivener leaned forward and clapped a hand on Laz's shoulder, looking him square in the eye (and revealing that he was quite a little drunk, since he had a hard time keeping the eye contact) and sounding as serious as he could muster. "Listen Laz, I'm gonna make this happen for ya. I'll ask the Stars about your future! Don't you worry, everything's gonna work out just great!" He moved back to his own seat and tried to take another drink, but found his glass empty. Hunh! How did that happen so fast? "One more!" he called.

There's a carnival in Barton? That, he wouldn't be sure, since he rarely go into Barton. This monthly drinking session for them both is probably the only reason he visits Barton once a month. Hence, this is the only street on Barton that he is most familiar with. He is more familiar with Gambino and Durem. But it doesn't matter, he shall leave it to Rivener to find out about these carnival things.
Crimson eyes were half-lidded as he look back at Rivener too, Lazarus had already drained his third? Or was it fourth cup of pina colada? Inability to count, one of the signs that he is pretty much drunk. The incubus swears, sometimes he gets drunk so easily. He chuckled as he raised his hand, asking for a refill as well. "I'm counting on you with this then, be sure to ask the Stars when is a good date for this... outing too." Somehow, he had a feeling that Rivener will be tagging along. But that might be a good thing, since he is a friend of Xiu's too right? It might even be more fun like this, all three of them at a carnival.
"To an exciting carnival adventure that I'll be looking forward to!" He cried in drunken stupor as he raised his newly arrived drink, some of the liquid spilling out the side as he held the cup unsteadily.

"Don't worry, I'll ask the Stars and everything's going to be super-peachy-awesome! You'll see! Leave it all to me!" With a wide grin, Rivener also threw his newly-arrived drink up for a toast, sloshing as much as Laz had. "To that carnival adventure!"
