Ace now really confused starts to speak again "Like I said before my name is Robert.Price. I am from America what country on Earth is this?" Ace says only saying Earth because the great length that he has to go to speak to her "Why do you keep touching my face as well and what is that weird language you are speaking, I have never heard it before."

"Greetings to you, Robert Price."

Pleased that he could understand her, she made sure to keep contact while she spoke.

"I do not need to touch your face especially, but mother Gaia will only allow me to know your tongue through contact. At least until I learn it myself," she explained softly, keeping eye contact.

(That's weird. Me too. Wonder if something is up with the server.)

"Mother Gaia. Our guide, God,creator, protector. She gives her children the gift to learn and grow," she explained in a singsong voice. "She grants me now the gift of wisdom, to hear another and speak another. To better learn from another," she recited with an air of one who didn't like the way it sounded, but didn't know of another way to explain it.

Looking down at herself, Tolire wondered what he meant. Not a normal girl. Looking back at him, she countered,

"You don't look quite normal yourself." She didn't know weather to take offense or not. She wasn't the most flattering girl around, but she didn't fancy herself as bad as say some of the orcs that roamed these parts.

Tolire pulls her hand closer to her, confusion and fear battling in her eyes.

"Hutana? Hu line mae fathine salthala. Hutana Hindohemine sa lanthire," she spoke as she backed up the massive root slowly. Knowing he could no longer understand her, she tried to speak again his language but did not know enough to make sense.

"Human. No, human,"she managed. Her throat hurt with the attempt, not used to how rough the sounds were. Before when she was speaking with Mother Gaia's help the words came easy as her own. Now she had to fight to get one out properly.

"Humans don't exist!" she finished. A light flush colored her cheeks. "I'm elvish and you? You must be devilish. It explains the trickery."

She realized just how close he was and tried to push him back with her palms to his chest. A part of her wanted to retreat, Demons were dangerous after all. Another part wanted to know more about him. He didn't look evil or talk like an evil creature.

Tolire yelped as Ace pulled her down with him. Before he could recover, she wrapped a nearby vine around his wrists, preventing him from grabbing her again. Leaping back like a startled animal she looked at him while he puzzled out his arrival, her body staying crouched low to the ground.

"Hutana no eltar. Eltar sethala. Methialia hathehalo thalamire," she hissed uncertainly. She was both surprised, frightened, curious and angry all at once. Not something that happened often, but not something she was unused to. Being new to this world, she knew there would be many times when she had to think on her feet.

A soft conversation caught her attention as she stepped out of her temporary lodgings. Straining her ears, she heard bits and pieces of the conversation, but let the conversation escape her. She wasn't one to eavesdrop on people she didn't know. Taking a good look around, she let her mind wander to the past days. This small village seemed peaceful enough, and the people here seemed to accept her as one half of her heritage; the better preferred one. She didn't really mind, except for the fact that she was aware that they'd kick her out the moment the truth was out. But for the moment, she was content. Instead of having a job to do, she was looking for one, as she roamed the land for somewhere to belong.

A muffled thump now caught her attention, just as she was about to head back in. Remembering the bits of conversation (she couldn't quite understand them), she sighed, unsure of what to do. They had no relation to her, and yet… it was very tempting to see if they were okay. Call it instinct, but the girl felt like she should at least check up on them. After a bit of hesitation, she finally gave in. Making her way through the forest, she peeked around the foliage until she came across what she'd been searching for: the two beings that were talking. Except that instead of looking injured, one was looking wary and the other a bit confused. So much for those instincts… The girl thought to herself, turning her focus away from the two of them. She couldn't really understand the girl's language, but the guy's… only some words she recognized from teachings her father had taught her before… she shook the memory away. That's not going to help me now.
