you never thought you would...
Time is ticking, halters skipping, ready to move
feel like my logics lifting, head is spinning out of control!
You've got my body twitchin', thirst is quenchin', ready to go For once Aefes only sat back listening in to everyone around them, though making a distasteful look at the woman that walked in. That enough just ruined his thoughts of any intimacy at all happening here. Not because she was a woman in skimpy clothes, but because she seen as potential competition & he hated competing, if that was the case he wouldn't bother trying at all. Figuring perhaps just to let it go & decide that tonight he was going home alone after all that he'd atleast have fun anyway. There was no way he'd let the skimpy chick ruin all the fun. With a cheeky grin he swiped up a controller claiming one of the 3. However his eyes glanced over to his side at the chick preoccupying the seat that should actually be for the 3rd player but wasn't about to be a complete d**k even if he already did not like her company around.
It was an ugly thing what competition did to people, & Aefes wasn't excluded from it. Just from that small hatred of competition he inwardly commented how dumb her name was. Who named their kid after a fruit? Seriously. But if he did not feel inferior to her, he may not even think such negative things of her, but he did. "Hey~ You gonna play this round Lumi?" He chimed turning his eyes away from her & to the Magmortar this time waiting to see if he was actually going to join or not. Yes he had just said he would love to, but he didn't fully understand that last part he said & just ignored it. He did know or atleast kinda figured what it was he said after with the "amigo" & "amiga". It was a common spanish word or words after all. But it seemed just as he finished his sentence the last controller was already swiped in the Scizor's hand, again with a cheeky grin he looked once more ta the Magmortar. "Too slow~! Maybe next round." He chimed happily, teasing Lumiente lightly but looked to the Scizor when he started questioning the controller nervously. "Mmm? Never played before? What world do you live in?" He teased him with a chuckle. "It isn't hard actually, I'll walk you through it while we play & I'm sure Den will help out too since he's the Halo Guru." Aefes confirmed with a bright grin to the red head while joking about the Umbreon whom he had no idea was actually all that great, but didn't doubt it either.You got my mind in the gutter when we touchin' on each other,

┏━━━━━━━━━┓ Hearing Dendara assure him that he would not use the gun against him calmed him down a little, but the response after made him feel that either the man was ahead of himself or he actually could deal some real damage. Assuming it was always best to assume the latter to keep his anger down, Lumiente just relax back. "Well that's nice to hear. Though I am curious to learn how you do fight...maybe one day?" Lumiente grinned to the host seeing as he seemed a little too shy. Though why invite so many people if one is so shy?
Looking down to grab a controller, he saw that Hiroyuki took the controller. Not like he would be any better but at least now someone could teach Hiroyuki and he wouldn't seem like such an idiot. Games weren't a big thing anymore to him since it always reminded him of his father, epsecially all shooters. He heard Aefes talk to him while he was thinking back to the old days but he felt he didn't really have to reply that fast since it was he was teasing him. "Eh, I've always been more of a watcher. Although I'd love to play, I guess I'll just have to watch. Though from what I've heard, Dendara has this game won." Teasing Aefes back, Lumiente leaned back on the chair just glad nothing bad happened yet.

Hiroyuki heard Aefes tease him and he blushed. I guess it is kind of weird. Still, Hiroyuki was never one to take anything seriously, so he smiled warmly. "I guess you could say I live in the feudal era, hm?" He, of course, was joking as per usual. His heavy Japanese accent rode over his words, but he pronounced everything well. "Well, I'll probably learn to screw up or kill myself first, but on a good note, I'm not a threat to anyone, though, Den seems pretty acquainted with the game. I doubt he's worried about anyone." He chuckled softly.
Hiroyuki relaxed and stared at the game screen and instantly became confused. What...what is this!? The Scizor had a pained grin as he thought, What was it that dad was always telling me? 'Being a samurai is everything! It'll show you the way!' Like hell! Why didn't you teach me to be normal? Hiroyuki sighed, letting his expression return to a normal grin and played with the joystick, but had looked away from the screen so he had even less of an idea what he was doing.

x Dendera laughed as it seemed everyone had already pegged him for the gamer that he was. Well of course he had to be considering that it was in his home and not only that but he'd been the oddball to be playing a game of Halo while waiting on party guests to arrive. He started up the game and looked around the room at the good group of people that were there. They all seemed so different, it was interesting to see so many different kinds of people in one place.
He got up and went to the scizor's side, showing him each of the buttons and trying to tell him what each one did in a way that he could remember. (I don't want to type up a Halo explanation so yeah xD) He spoke loudly enough so that everyone would get the jest of it just in case Hiro wasn't the only one that was lost.
He made the game as simple as possible and tried to play to the least of his abilities, if that made any sense. He didn't want the guests to feel lost in there or completely outdone. "I guess you'll have to take a turn next time." Dendera said to Lumiente with a smile as he continued to play his game. "I'm actually surprised that you guys were interested in playing a round or two." he laughed softly, actually he was quite sure he was such a dork for having it out at a block party. But he was always a little dork so did it matter?
