Daisy looked to Silas. He looked uncomfortable and nervous. Her eyes stared at him, her head tilting a little as she watched him. Her green eyes glistening. "You okay?" she asked, concern in her sweet, melodic voice. She then listened to his stuttering. As he looked to her and to the festival machine rides. Some shook, some twirled, some went up and down, some went all around. SOme were fast, some her slow. Then there were the roller coasters. There were miniature ones, for little children who weren't able to ride the large coasters. There were ones that were as tall as sky scrapers, towering over them. The cars would shoot onto the track, going at a great speed, but slow down as it reaches the top of an incline, but fall quickly. Daisy knew that before you go on a ride, you might be nervous and a tad bit scared. But once you hop into a car and let it take you on a thrill ride, you would be so pumped and excited.

Turning to the stuttering vaporeon, leafeon smiled to him. He looked sorta nervous. How he looked to the metal contraptions that were used for adrenaline and excitement. Has he ever been on one before? Daisy heard his answer, still stuttering. She smiled softly, gently taking his hand. She lead him to a tall ride, with seats on a large ring around the tall machine. It was one that slowly ascended up the straight ride, then once reaching the top, it would shoot down, then bounce up and down. Pulling him into line, she smiled at him, a friendly smile. They were a few people away from riding the ride. In a matter of minutes, the two were strapped into the seats.

"Yeah," was all he replied, bringing his attention back to the rides displayed in front of him. He watched the large machines closely, trying to figure out how they worked. He didn't have long to study them, though, since he was suddenly being dragged by the hand into a short line for one of the rides. Silas watched it as the line gradually moved up, unsure of what to think of it. It looked 'thrilling' enough, but he wasn't exactly sure if he liked that kind of thrill. His eyes followed it carefully, still thinking it over to himself. It wasn't like he could exactly get out of line now, though, they had already reached past the entry gate. It was their turn now.

Silas took a quiet but deep breath to himself, trying to calm down the pesky nerves that were working themselves up as he got into the seat. He was used to danger, so what was so different about this? Maybe it was the type of danger? How little control he had over it? The Vaporeon wasn't sure, and shortly after, stopped thinking about it all together. He was calm enough, watching the ground below them get smaller and smaller as they were raised up. He wasn't sure if he had a fear of heights, he never had much reason to test it, but he guessed now was the perfect chance to do so.

Daisy watched as the seats slowly raised, chugging up the thick, straight pole with gears and pulleys inside. Her green eyes looked down, seeing her feet dangling. She watched as the festival got tinier and tinier as the seat chugged up. Daisy then felt the ride suddenly stop. Looking up, she realized that they reached the top. Daisy counted down from five. 5...4...3...2...1. Then, the seat dropped, as if she was on a platform and it disappeared beneath her feet. As they plummeted, she smiled as they shot down. Then, they bounced.

In a matter of seconds, they were safely on the ground. The harness that hugged her body to the seat released, lifting up automatically. She hopped out of the seat. She turned to Silas, a smile upon her face. Daisy giggled softly. "Was that fun or what?" she asked him, excitement filling her eyes. She giggled. After one ride, she is very brave when it comes to the other rides. She loves riding on roller coasters. Even the most scary ones. She turned to him. Seeing his blue eyes, she blushed a soft shade of pink. Silas was really attractive.

The Vaporeon was calm the whole way up, watching the sight below shrink the higher they went. It was an interesting view for him, having never really been up quite this high. He found that he wasn't frightened of the height, which only made sense to him now. There weren't many things that he actually feared in life anymore, and apparently high places wasn't one of them either. Instead of fear, he found the sight mildly amusing and it gave him a new perspective on himself. He was small in the world, maybe even as small as how the people now looked below him. It was almost depressing, but also a bit...motivating? He wasn't quite sure what to make of the feeling.

Soon after, the ride dropped from it's high sitting place, and Silas felt like his stomach had launched up into his throat. It wasn't sickness, but the sudden drop definitely took him off guard. The ride bounced a few times before coming to it's final stop, the bars securing everyone in lifting back up to where they once were before the ride had started. It took a minute for him to catch up with the fact that he was on the ground again, and that a bouncy Leafeon was asking him a question.
"It was...interesting," he replied back, trying to stand up from the seat he was in after he felt he could.

His legs were a little wobbly, his bearings thrown off a little from the sudden drop, but he regained his composure soon after, not being able to help the eyebrow raise he made at the girl's blushing.
"Is there something on my face?" he asked, feigning ignorance. Silas was aware that she was probably blushing because of him, it wasn't the first time a girl had looked in his direction and blushed when he looked back. But, the Vaporeon wasn't really one for dating, as he didn't like getting close to people, let alone that close.

Daisy Burkowitz waited for Silas' reaction to the ride experience. She watched him. And yet, he kept a serious face. His dark blue eyes dull. When he replied, she smirked. Not the reaction she expected. As she stared at the Vaporeon, admiring his good looks. Daisy heard Silas ask her if there was something on his face. Her head shook and her blushing slowly faded. "No. Its just that...your eyes...," she said to him, staring into the eyes she mentioned, "They are a very deep blue."

Her green eyes blinked a few times before smiling. Daisy giggled softly before turning on her heel and walking towards the exit. But before she reached the ramp that descended from the platform of the ride they just rode, she stopped. Her head turned to glance at him over her shoulder. Those jade green eyes of the Leafeon's sparkled. Her smile was friendly and warm.

"They are very pretty," she complimented, still on the topic of his blue eyes. Daisy wasn't one to lie. She spoke her mind. Even if it embarrassed her a little. Daisy smiled as her head returned to its normal position. She walked down the ramp, hearing the rattling of the steel as she walked down it. The Leafeon stopped as she reached the ground. Actual earth. Rather than on that not-so-stable platform. Her head turned to Silas. "Wanna go on the ferris wheel or the carasoul?" she asked him. Daisy wanted to go on a slow ride next. She knew it would be enjoyable. Besides, she could probably talk to him. Daisy wanted to get to know him. He seemed like a nice guy.

Silas blinked a little at her reply. It wasn't exactly what he had expected to hear, but he had heard that before, well, from people who actually managed to physically get that close to him enough to see. When he actually stopped to look at them in a mirror at one point, he thought they resembled a sort of abyss, minus the bright highlights around his pupils. It seemed almost fitting to him, in a symbolic sort of way. Aside from a few other times, he didn't much bother to examine himself in mirrors. In the mornings he would get up, take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, style his hair, and be on his way to class, or band practice. He'd keep himself tidy enough to be presentable, but that was about as far as he went. Styling his hair was the only small extra step he took, because his natural hair style still only reminded him of how he used to be, wild and all over the place. He still was a little 'wild' and 'all over the place' at times, but not nearly as much as he once was, and he wanted it to stay that way. It was really the only way that he could stand himself without getting the urge to rip everything away that he saw in the mirror and making everything completely different. Silas didn't hate himself, but past reminders were written all over him in his natural state.

The Vaporeon blinked a little, once more, at her next words. He replied with a,
"Thanks," before following after her down the ramp and out of the exit gate. "Whichever you'd prefer," he replied back, not really caring which one they ended up on next. He'd never been on rides before, so he couldn't exactly tell one from the other, or have much of a preference for them. Whichever one they went on next would probably just do the same thing, make him feel a little odd and mess up his hair.

Daisy watched him descend down the metal ramp and walk beside her. His reply made her shrug. Her smile widened as she gently took his hand in hers. She lightly pulled him, running with him through the crowds toward different rides and roller coasters. Her dirty blond hair blew behind her, as a breeze hit her face from running. Her moccassinned shoes ran lightly against the dirt floor. She giggled softly. Daisy glanced over her shoulder, looking to Silas to see how he was doing, being pulled behind her. He looked calm.

Daisy pulled him to a roller coaster, that was quite large. Pulling him into line. They were not too far from the front of the line. She released his hand and stared at him, with sparkling green eyes. Her smile was a bit smaller, but still kind and soft. Daisy's hand released his as they stood in line. She could feel the line slowly moving. Pulling her eyes away from the vaporeon, she looked to the roller coaster. Watching the string of cars that was occupied with people, two in each car. The chain lift pulled the car, slowly ascending up the wooden hill. She could hear the creaking of the stilts that held up the coaster from collapsing. Then, the car reached the top and then shot down at a great speed. Going up and down on camel back hills. It did a few 92 degree turns, making passengers slide and lean against the other passenger.

Daisy was a bit excited to ride the roller coaster. It was the second most scary coaster. Next to the Exterminator. Which was the one they will be going on after this one. The Exterminator was a coaster where the track and chain lift is overhead and the harness held you into the seat. It was like the Silver Bullet at Knotts Berry Farm. There were a series of corkscrews, loops, and turns, and a few hills.

As the first series of cars came to a stop, she watched the passengers exit the roller coaster, smiles upon their faces. They seemed that they enjoyed the ride. The Leafeon watched as the line moved up. They reached the front of the line and she handed the ticket holder her four tickets, so she and Silas may ride. She moved to the back car, knowing that it is the most fun seat. Daisy hopped into the seat, her eyes watching Silas as he sat beside her. SHe pulled down the metal bar that held them in the seat, as well as clicking the seat belt together that held her and Silas in. They had to share a seat belt, since there was only on long on. In a matter of seconds, as everyone prepared for the coaster to start, she gave Silas a beaming smile.

The roller coaster was over. Daisy still wore her smile from when the ride started. It was so much fun. As the metal bars lifted automatically, she unclicked the seat belt. A few times, during the turns, she leaned against Silas, and he did the same to her...due to G force. Hopping out of the seat, she stared at him, her green eyes full of excitement. YOu can tell she enjoyed the coaster. Daisy extended her hand to him, offering to help him out of the car. She then pulled him out of the car and to the next coaster. The Exterminator.

The Exterminator was made of steel and was a bit more sturdy than the last ride. Once they finished that ride, she felt the need for a slow, relaxing coaster. The Ferris wheel. They were the first in line once they approached the coaster. She pulled him into a little steel basket, sitting on the bench. The Ferris Wheel got a great view of the festival. And of the night sky. It was beautiful today .The weather was nice and the stars were out. Daisy sighed as the door to the basket closed. She turned to Silas and smiled. "Thank you for going on the rides with me. And thank you for protecting me against those guys," she told him, her voice soft and sweet.

Daisy looked outside the basket, gazing at the million stars above her head, that twinkled in the night sky. She smiled. Turning to the Vaporeon, she smiled. He was really quiet. And closed. Made her frown a little. She wondered if she would be able to make him smile. He was like a statue. Having the same calm expression across his face. Daisy hadn't really seen him smile. Hm. "I really enjoyed your performance earlier today. You are quite talented," she complimented him truthfully. Sicne she watched his band perform on stage earlier, she wanted to tell them that. And to congradulate them. And now, she was enjoying the festival with him.

Needless to say, his head was spinning. He managed to keep it from his face, but he was mentally a mess. After the roller coasters she dragged him onto, it was a wonder he managed to walk straight enough to end up on the ferris wheel. He leaned on an elbow in the seat, pinching the bridge of his nose for a moment as he tried to get his bearings back on the much slower ride. He'd never been on rides before, so this was all shaking him up a bit, physically, anyway. He almost regretted letting her pick the rides after all of that. His mood was dropping, both at her taste in rides and frustration at himself for being so overwhelmed by them, but he couldn't really help it since these were all first times for him. He only nodded a little at her thanking him, closing his eyes for a moment to take a little time to himself.

"I'm not that talented," he replied, glancing over at the girl. To him, he still had a long way to go before he would be as good as most other guitar players out there. But, it wasn't something he was inspiring to do. He really only played because it eased him, it was something he enjoyed. Silas wasn't in a band or playing guitar because he was trying to prove himself or be the best, he only did it because he, well, loved it. It was one of the few things in life that he did love and enjoy.

The Vaporeon sat back up after a moment, glancing down at the festival again from a new height.
"It should be late enough that we can leave the place now," he began, glancing back at the Leafeon, "I think I'd like to get back home soon." He was starting to miss the stillness of his bedroom, the feel of the ground, and most of all, he was starting to miss the guitar that he had left at home. This day was full of high energy, and he was starting to get tired.

Daisy watched the Vaporeon. He seemed a little rattled from all the rides. Has he ever been on one? She didn't know. But he seemed a little winded as well. THe Leafeon wasn't very good at picking rides and their order. She just chose them and went on them. Daisy heard Silas reply to her compliment on his guitar skills. She smiled. "Well...I think you are," she told him, her voice sweet.

Her green eyes glistened as she stared at him. Closing her eyes, she giggled cutely. Her eyes reopened and she watched the view from above the ferris wheel. Daisy enjoyed the fair. It was fun. Turning to Silas, she heard him. Her eyes faded to a mud brown, her smile sinking to a frown. Honestly, she didn't want to part with Silas. She liked him. He made the fair a bit more fun and exhilerating. Yeah, he was quiet and didn't show any enjoyment from the rides, but spending an evening with this attractive guitarist made her smile.

"Uh...um...okay," she said. Daisy flashed him a smile, but it returned to a frown as her head turned away. She sighed. He didn't enjoy her company and she knew it. He would rather be anywhere else than around her. She was too perky and happy and sweet. He was calm and cold and hard. Daisy sighed. As the ferris wheel turned slowly around a few more times, the ride went on in pure silence. The Leafeon felt the basket shake as the ferris wheel came to a stop, the basket reaching the ground. The conductor that operated the ferris wheel approached the basket, opening the doors of the basket.

Daisy hopped out and made her way to the exit. Pushing the gate open, she descended down the stairs. She turned on her heel, facing Silas. "Well...um...I guess this is good bye...," she said, wearing a disappointed look across her face. Her hand extended to him, offering to shake his hand. "Well...good bye," she said, her eyes brown. Daisy felt a little upset. He didn't want to be any where near her but was pressured and guilted into accompanying her through the fair. Just because they were chased by big burly men.

Silas waited for the ride to come to a stop before managing to get out of the seat without falling on his face. His composure and bearings were back to normal and he followed the Leafeon out of the exit gate. The ride finished in silence, which the Vaporeon didn't really mind. He was used to things being quiet most of the time, so silence never really bothered him. He almost had to lean back at the girl's sudden heal turn, blinking a little, slightly surprised by the sudden action.
"Uh..yeah," he started, glancing back at the girl, "maybe I'll see you around sometime." He turned a bit after shaking her hand a little, walking towards the direction that he remembered, well, hopefully remembered entering the festival in. He'd never really wandered this far into it before, but he was pretty sure it was the right way.

He waved a little over his shoulder at the Leafeon as he walked, sighing a little to himself. It was nice to be on his own again, he had to admit. He didn't have a terrible time with the girl, but it was definitely more than he was used to, and all in a sudden and short period of time. It was almost like he overdosed on high energy tonight, and he needed a break from it. The Vaporeon continued walking, finally finding his way out of the festival, and started heading down the street towards his home. Silas was looking forward to playing his guitar for a bit and then heading straight to bed. He'd skip dinner, even though he hadn't eaten since before he had been practicing with his band and then performing at the festival, but it didn't matter. He wasn't too sure he could eat after all the rides he'd been on, anyway.

Daisy always felt a bit lonely. When at work, she would start up a conversation with strangers. But they would always get annoyed from her wanting a person to talk to, when they only wanted their flowers. Daisy had friends, but only a few. She didn't understand why. She was friendly. She was enjoyable to be around. It was a riddle as to why she has only few friends. She frowned as she wandered the fair grounds. She was a little bummed to ride any more rides. Daisy sighed. She made her way to the exit, wanting to leave the fair grounds. The bruise underneath her eye ached. She winced. "Ouchie," she whimpered, placing her gentle hands over her eye.

The Leafeon made her way to her bike, which was chained to a street lamp. Taking out her key, she unlocked the lock, making the chain clink and fall limply and heavily to the floor. She picked up the heavy metal links and tossed them into the basket of her bicycle. Hopping onto her bike, she pedalled home.

Daisy entered her small home in the city, tossing her keys into a glass bowl that sat on an end table near the door. Closing the door shut, she sighed softly. The Leafeon felt the hard wood floor boards creak beneath her feet as she walked slowly to her bedroom. Entering the room that was full of potted plants, their leaves and branches poking out of the pots. The vines draping down from the shelves they rested upon. The large glass skyline on her roof revealed the starry sky. Daisy slipped her mocassins off of her feet and plopped onto bed. Slowly, she fell asleep. Hugging her Leafeon plushie to her chest as she snoozed.
