Ivory smiled awkwardly and tried to laugh off Sonnet's concern. He shifted slightly in his seat, trying harder and harder to simply allow himself to relax around his new crowd. Though, he had never been the kind of stallion to enjoy the company of many, nor having pity or sour emotions be directed at him. He never knew how to respond so he had learned best to hide it.
Thinking about it now, he should stop shouldn't he? it only leads to more trouble.
But bad habits die hard.
So, once Sonnet had turned his attention else where ivory stole a glimpse of himself in the rippling bucket water and frowned. he looked a mess. How had he let it gone this far?
He turned his head right back to the conversations as if nothing had happened, and just as he did so he noticed Akuba leaving and blinked. His legs tensed in the anticipation to stand up and follow him, to help with whatever he could but words directed at him sat him down once more.
He smiled at Stripe after she spoke and Sym responded to her sharply. He couldn't help but chuckle. Ivory had had his brothers dump their chores on him before when they were young and irresponsible. he hadn't minded then and wouldn't have now but it was a nice to know things change; in this family, there was order.
"I wouldn't mind taking your chores Stripe. I would love to help you whenever you need it." He smiled and his golden orbs glowed gently.
"Don't worry Sym, I would love to stay here and with that I would love to practice more morse with you. Would you mind?"
He finally stood, stretching a bit without knocking anything from its place as well once up, and walked to the exit of the teepee. He turned to his best friend, "Do you think your father needs any help?"
