It was hard not to smile at Tar, he was so gruff so often and yet there were those hints of caring underneath it all. Plus they had plenty of time to worry about those things. As much as she wanted to stay there all afternoon speaking with Tal she had to admit that all this excitement had gotten to her and she was quite tired. Besides Tirin still had not taken a nap after his nightly patrol.

Excusing them, Sauda planned to come talk with Tal later when she had rested. Standing she walked with Tirin back to their den, where together they took a nice long and well deserved nap. Sleep would now be a precious commodity so it was best to get some as often as possible.
