If you guys want anything else, like message boards or any info on pride days or protests happening, don't hesitate to ask. I know people around the world who participate in that stuff and can give me some dates and where they're taking place. Anything happening in the UK? (England) Ummm, in May there is Birmingham whch is having a three-day festival which I belive is Sat 28th / Sun 29th / Mon 30th . It's supposedly the largest gay pride festival in Europe. Manchester Pride is a ten day gay and lesbian festival that starts in August, 19th through the 29th. And Belfast Pride will be opening the 30th of July to the 6th of August.

Kinda like a info sticky. Since you are oh so wise in that area. With like a link list, news, and events. I only know about gay mixers and foam parties. sweatdrop Actually, I wouldn't mind doing something like that :3. I get tons of info from friends around the world about festivals and whatnot that I can't manage to attend, it would be nice to place it somewhere that could inform people who could manage to go.

Well, I know there is the Pride on the Tyne Festival, which takes place either at or near the University of Newcastle, and I think it takes place sometime in July(at least last year it did, so I'm not too sure about this one..). I know that the cost is free and they do lots of stuff like parades, stage acts, and have shops everywhere but that's all I know for now. I'll try and get a date.
EDIT: They haven't announced a date yet, but if you want I can check back when they do.

Pride On Tyne will be July 17th to the 24th this year :3. 12pm-3am. - Location: Students Union. University of Northumbria at Newcastle upon Tyne. And I'm not sure if this will help any but I'll place it up here anyways : Map

Thought I would list a few national (I'm not sure if they do any of these outside of the states, but please try and start them up and participate anyway you can if you don't). These are a few days (we really don't have alot 0_o) that are nationally recognized gay days. It seemed that if the guild or its members wanted to do anything for these days/months then it would be best to post them early- more will be added when I find the list.
-Febuary 9-15th: Freedom To Marry Week
I would only suggest you take part in this if you are old enough to marry or have been in a long term relationship. It tends to have much more meaning.
April 13th-Day of Silence: I've made a post about this previously.
June: National Gay and Lesbian Pride Month
Oct 11th- National Coming Out Day ( and ironically enough my 16th birthday too -^_^-)
October- Gay and Lesbian History Month
If you want any detail on what you can do, how to get your community active, or just more info on any of these dates and others (that will be posted later), don't hesitate to ask.
