Lydda had to offer a small smile, appreciative and not apologetic that she was unable to fully share in the love of a warm cup of tea. Scirocco was, if nothing else, a polite and understanding gentleman.
"Thank you, I really do appreciate it. I hope I find something there: it'd been quite an adventure to come all this way, get tangled up and then find nothing after all." She actually gave a small, soft laugh and shook her head. "Though it certainly brought me something just as good, if nothing else. Good company is hard to come by sometimes." She gave a playful glance at Lemon, who had been somewhat quiet and thus, less frustrating. Ah well, at least she was beginning to take him with a grain of salt - humorous salt.
"I try," she admitted with a small sigh. "It's hard sometimes, it really is, but I try to remind myself what I'm looking for and why. It usually helps some. And there are always interesting people and places to see and remember along the way." It was true; Lydda had her moments of being down, but she usually tried to keep positive, if for nothing else than to keep herself going. There were some days where it seemed so futile she'd spend half the day lost - literally and figuratively.
Though Scirocco spoke softly, his voice obviously carried to his brother - that, or Lemon had excellent hearing. Lydda's eyes went from the retreating constellation back to the one still sitting with his teacup, curious now but refraining from asking. If she watched closely, she could see slight, gentle breezes surrounding Scirocco - something she'd missed before. But now, by the subtle of cloth and hair, she had to wonder. There was no other breeze, none that toyed with her own snowy locks or anything else. She could only assume it was some sort of magic.
"I...thank you." For a moment, Lydda was at a loss of what to say. This constellation was so supportive, and she'd figured that the two would simply point out the road and give her directions, not escort her there personally. Especially now that Lemon seemed to be winding down, perhaps a bit tired. He certainly hadn't been his spunky self for the short while she'd been talking, though he was still quirky.
"I don't know where to begin to thank you two," she admitted, looking into her half-empty cup. Thankfully, Sciocco's refilling of his own mug meant that he hadn't indicated they were waiting on her to leave. Her smile became somewhat self-deprecating. "Ah yes, that would be unfortunate. I've already found myself wandering lost once today: I'd rather not make it a habit."

"I certainly hope you don't think of this adventure as nothing, or you may have missed the point of an adventure altogether," Scirocco replied, enjoying Lydda's laughter. He was pleased to have met Lydda, even if she, like him, was meant to wander. "It looks like you have something on your mind, Lydda?" He could see her trying to understand something, but didn't know it was his wind-aura she puzzled over.
Lemon was singing loudly again, and he didn't even stop as he came back into the garden. Instead, he removed his apron, accompanied by a little hip-wiggle, and started swinging it in the air, singing at the top of his lungs, looking deeply involved in whatever love ballad he was inventing. Again, it referenced a tea-kettle and a frog. He sauntered up to Scir, flicked the apron around the back of his neck, and started to serenade his brother with it directly.
"Dear tea-kettle, I love you, I never want to part; the heavens will surely see this and know that we have heart.
How could they keep a frog from knowing love divine? For your iron mouth is sacred and your kisses so damn fine"
It was at the emphasis of kiss that Scirocco quirked one eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Brother mine?"
"Yeeees?" Lemon waggled his eyebrows and grinned.
"Are you quite done?"
"Was just leaving! You were in the way," Lemon left the apron draped around Scir's shoulders and sauntered back into the house. Only the kettle and their two cups remained after his cleaning fiasco and dance. He was going back inside to clean up for the town, Scir knew, but he couldn't help but sigh and shake his head. What was he going to do with him?
"Now that we have a moment of peace, again, I had meant to tell you it's absolutely no trouble," Scirocco sighed, and leaned back a little, taking his tea with him. He seemed to be taking comfort in the heat coming from his cup. "In fact, Lemon is probably glowing at the chance to be ridiculous in public, today," Scirocco added, glancing back towards the house. He wasn't sure how long the Twilif would want to sit, before leaving, but he was ready to go whenever. He just hoped his brother would come out of the house fully dressed, this time.

"No," Lydda admitted, "certainly not nothing. Especially not this time. I suppose I just get distracted by the destination that I forget to take note of the journey, too." Her tone turned a little wry as she, somehow, managed to admit one of her own faults out loud. Either she got caught up in the destination or the details stole her attention. There was hardly ever any middle ground, though she was doing her best to change that.
"Hmm? Oh," She blinked and smiled at his question. "It's nothing, really. I suppose my mind wanders without me when it finds something to latch onto." Had it not seemed utterly rude, she would have mentioned something. In fact, had Scirocco not said something, there was a very good chance the question about his aura would have slipped out anyway.
Lemon's voice wafted in from the house, a haphazardly sung ballad about a teakettle and a frog, the words becoming clearer as he came back to the patio to start cleaning up - minus his apron. He swung it around like a dancing ribbon, swaying his hips in time to the melody, which was utterly ridiculous and somehow threatened to make Lydda giggle. Her hand flew to her mouth to hide her smile. After all, Lemon was supposed to be frustrating, and thus not amuse her. Whatever had caused the next banter session between the two brothers passed over Lydda's head, perhaps thankfully, and she just watched them with an idle amusement and shook her head.
"I'm glad it's no trouble," she admitted, eyes downcast to her tea once again, if only for a moment. Her eyes turned serious as she looked Scirocco in the eye. "Really. I realize I just sort of bumbled here and ruined whatever plans you might have had. Most probably would have just pointed out the path and sent me on my way. I...I really appreciate the extra help." Oh, the thought of Lemon in town was a scary one, indeed.
"Well, I don't think it will be hard to find him when we do get into town," she mused, setting her cup aside. Butterflies ricocheted in her tummy, making it impossible for her to drink anything else. To think, she might be so close to a breakthrough! She felt her heart leap a little at the idea, but firmly clamped down on it. She was getting ahead of herself, she knew, and it wouldn't do to be getting giddy now.
"Do you mind if I ask a question?" she asked a bit tentatively as Lemon went about singing inside once again.

What were they even doing before Lydda showed up? Lemon was building ... right, he was trying to design a new instrument for Scirocco, but failing at it. Lemon said he was basing it off a dream he had, but an hour in, he had completely forgotten what the initial idea was. It had culminated in some sort of cloth with silver scales attached. At best, that would make some kind of weird rustling sound, Scirocco guessed. He sighed, remembering it. He smiled at Lydda. "No plans of ours were ruined by your appearance, Lydda. Lemon was merely experimenting while I sat on the porch. A lazy day, to be certain."
He couldn't help but laugh, when Lydda supposed that it would be easy to find him in town. "It is quite easy to find my brother just about anywhere," Scirocco answered, with a wry smile. Lemon really was chaos in a phyiscal form, though he preferred to socialize than cause trouble. They often equated to the same thing, with Lemon's flamboyant way of making new friends.
He titled his head to the side, regarding Lydda, considering her request. What could she possibly want to ask of him? "Please feel free to ask whatever you will," Scirocco assured her.
Lemon leaned against the door frame, in the shadows. It would be impossible to see him unless Lydda happened to look over and catch a glimpse of his hair, but Lemon retreated back inside almost instantly, pretending to busy himself in the kitchen. He washed the cups out and set them to try, wondering what his brother was talking about with the Twilif. Then he forgot what he was wondering in the first place and realized he had put his shirt on inside-out, so he ran back upstairs to fix it.

Lydda smiled at Scirocco's assurance that she wasn't a bother and let the matter settle as it was. If nothing else, she knew she'd be a little nerve-grating if it kept coming up, and it was nice to be able to just talk and enjoy herself, even if only for a minute. She blinked at the mention of the viviacious constellation and her gaze momentarily drifted towards the front lawn.
"He certainly seems to have plenty to keep him busy," she mused. That was, of course, an understatement, though she likely hadn't any idea as to how much. She shook her head at the idea of Lemon gallivanting through town, greeting others the way he had her just a short time ago. "He is certainly unforgettable," she admitted with a laugh.
It wasn't the color so much as the sudden movement that caught Lydda's attention, and though she saw nothing out of sorts, she knew there wasn't anyone else around, let alone near the house. She shook her head and gave Scirocco an apologetic smile, not wanting to ask in front of another.
"It's nothing. Nevermind." Her smile was still small but more comfortable than it had been when she'd first joined the brothers, though it held a bit of the tone that others used when trying to convince someone that things were fine, even when everyone knew it wasn't.
"Sorry. Sometimes I forget I think out loud."

It wouldn't do to keep talking about how much he loved his brother. Scirocco coughed. Loved him? He supposed that was the sentiment behind his words, but he felt a little ridiculous admitting it to himself, even though it was an inaudible admission. He stood and stretched, having grown uncomfortable from sitting for so long. Scirocco didn't believe it really was nothing, but he let it drop, because his brother chose that exact moment to come thundering down the steps and dancing out onto the back lawn, doing some kind of weird jig.
"If you say so; perhaps we can speak later," Scirocco nodded as Lemon jumped him. Literally jumped at his brother, laughing, his hair a little damp. Scirocco hoped it was from showering, but if Lemon had told him that he spilled tea on his hair, he would have believed him. As it was, Lemon was much physically stronger than his brother. His muscles flexed under his shirt as he pinned his brother down.
"Let's GO, Scir! Go, go, go!" Lemon laughed again, and leapt off, swaggering off to the front yard. He was excited to get going, quite clearly.
Scirocco sighed, picking himself up. More visibly, his winds cleaned the grass and dirt off him. It wasn't the first time he'd had to clean off bits of grass. "I am sorry to press you, Lydda, but I fear he may escape into the town unsupervised if we do not follow, and... well, I am sure you can guess at how that might go," Scirocco said, wincing, with a hint of a smile buried in there. He stood, returned the kettle and cups to the kitchen, since Lydda appeared to be finished, and stood beside the chair, ready to help Lydda with the heavy stone if need be, or to simply push the chair back into position if she had already moved herself. He eyed the walkway nervously, as Lemon appeared to be long gone.
"You two are so slow," Lemon said, popping his head back around the side of the house. He wrinkled his nose and disappeared again. Scirocco was visibly relieved that Lemon was waiting for them in the front.

Thankfully, Scirocco didn't pry, but he did stand and stretch, reminding Lydda just how small she was, even sitting - even compared to a normal Twilif. Before she could stand and offer to help carry in the dishes or anything else, Lemon came bounding out of the house, full of energy and seeming to have washed up a bit before returning outside. For her own sake, Lydda thought it might be best if she stayed out of the way, rather than find out the hard way if she might or might not make an interesting target.
"Maybe so," she agreed before Lemon pounced his brother. She tucked the annoying little question away for the moment as Lemon pinned his brother before jumping up and bounding for the front yard, covering the distance in a few strides. Lydda watched him, somewhat perplexed and deciding that whatever had been dragging him down earlier had been resolved. That or she'd simply missed when Lemon had added about fifty spoons of sugar to his tea. That or he'd managed to sneak it when he'd been inside doing whatever. Maybe showering in it.
Before she stand and offer a hand, however, Scirocco had risen to his feet, the breeze significantly stronger and much more noticeable She nodded and started to help take in her own mug and plate, but the constellation was already a step ahead of her. Then again, maybe they didn't want strangers randomly wandering about their home, either. By the time he'd returned she'd slipped away from the table, though she'd not had a chance to push in the stone furniture before he had. Considering she only stood about the same height as the chair, it might have been quite a feat to see her try.
"It's all right. I don't' suppose they'd be overly thankful, would they?" she mused with a tilt of her head as she started to follow. A head start meant entirely too much chaos to be left in Lemon's wake. She could see the visible relief on Scirocco's face as Lemon poked his head around the corner and complained about the need to hurry up and she smiled for the other constellation's benefit. Never a dull moment with that one around, to be sure.
"I don't suppose he'd bother sticking around long enough to check on us a second time, would he?" she asked as she waited for Sciocco to take the lead. She was more than ready to move, feeling some of Lemon's energy inside, though only a fraction compared to his frantic need to go and go now.
"Is that another reason you're 'The Jade Wind?'" She figured it was better to ask while they were still somewhat alone and catching up, before Lemon could either pick on his brother or just make things worse in general. She still had that nagging feeling that she was asking something that might be a little personal. Then again, it was a little too late, now.
