She nodded at that. "Yes they are odd. Most avoid experiments unless they are what they call a 'scientist'. Their scientists aren't very advanced and have so many rules about what they can or can't do that they are so limited and nearly useless." She shook her head, "They are not good at hiding it. They have not learned to give up on all of their rules to advance."

Ashanti looked around for a moment like if something was watching them, but she left it go once she realized it was just a squirrel. "Yes indeed they have. Then again is it a pony's nature to be primitive? Perhaps we should teach them ourselves what knowledge we hold." She paused for a second. "Although they might run away and make false assumptions about us based on what they're told through other ponies who make false accusations."

Aliénor laughed at that. "Yes I believe it is in a pony's nature to be primitive and they would run away from us if we ever tried to truly teach them." She took a few steps up towards the mountain and it's peak. "Would you care to join me as I get my sample?"

Ashanti chuckled a bit. "Sure. I haven't been up there for a long time. I mainly collect samples in dark woods. It's funny, but some have luminescent properties to them." She started up the mountain after Aliénor.

She went up further now that Ashanti was coming with her. "I mostly collect from the woods or meadows. Places like that. Rarely will I go into some form of water or up mountains." She paused before commenting, "It is logical though. Plants that grow in caves will get like that. Very interesting properties those kinds of plants have. Plus the reactions you get from other ponies."

Ashanti nodded her head. "I see. Is there a certain objective you have in mind right now? Maybe I could help you if you wish." She was rather interested with this pony and wanted to see if any of her abilities could be of use. Back where she came from finding information was the best thing of all.

Aliénor tilted her head slightly while continuing to walk. "Objective? Hm... not really. I've just been experimenting with plants. After I get this one I need to find someone to test its potency on." She said with a small pause, "Maybe I should move on to animals... like venom from snakes. I will have to start studying them too."

Ashanti gave one of her weird smiles. "That sounds most extraordinary." She thought for a moment before giving a response. "There are plenty of pony types to test anything on if you take that route." She looked at Alienor observing her and trying to take in info. "Although seeing as how there are other mummies besides us I have to wonder sometimes what is their common ancestor or are they all from the same planet." She paused for a moment realizing she was rambling. "Anyways to make it short, are there any other ponies that might be from foreign planets? I would love to know that."

Aliénor nodded. "Indeed. Some may not be willing but it should not be too hard to test on an unwilling subject." She replied, "Indeed there are many mummies. I wonder if they all went through the same process or were some born that way, or perhaps it's a disease?" She thought about the question and shrugged. "I don't really care if there are other ponies from different planets. As long as they don't interfere in my research."

Ashanti pondered the thought over for a bit. "Yeah...I suppose you're right and that does make sense." She looked around the area observing the plants in order to try to be helpful, but she herself had different motives as well as figuring out what type of alien Alienor truly was. She noticed a purple flower and picked it. "This one is most peculiar. I'll have to see what it is when I get back to the base." She then looked around continuing to scan until she saw a small brush with white and pink flowers coming off of it downward. She cocked her head to the side trying to take in the plant. "I believe that's it?"

Aliénor looked around for the plant she was searching for. When Ashanti said she had possibly found it she rushed over. "Hm... yes... hmmm that is the right color...." She mumbled to herself studying the bush, "I do believe this is the plant." She then proceeded to collect some samples and stored them in a convenient satchel she had on her the entire time. "Thank you for the assistance. It helped shorten the time it would have taken me to find it. The company was also... nice is how they would put it I believe." She said now noticing the purple flower, "Hm... a strange one. If you wouldn't mind would you share your findings on that flower when you get them?"

Ashanti nodded her head. "Anytime. I do enjoy company. Especially ones that share an interest in research." She looked at the flower. "I shall. Especially if it has some useful properties to it." She paused for a moment. "If you need a lab I have one nearby or if you have one then we can figure out more about these plants. I must digress though I tend to get carried away sometimes when it comes to finding out new info." She paused for a moment. "Although sometimes I do like to hack into other ponies computer just to figure out what info they have. Sometimes they don't take it too nicely. I guess I could send them a virus if I had to."

Aliénor grinned a sort of creepy grin. "Then we are agreed on that matter." She replied before staring off at the distance. She had no lab, just a hut really that she conducted her experiments in. It also wasn't near here. "A lab that is near here would be nice. I do not have access to an actual lab. Nor a computer." She at least had an idea what a computer was now compared to several months ago. "If you do not mind may I use your lab?"

"Sure. I do not mind. Although I must admit some of the equipment might be out of date so I might have to update it when I get back." She paused for a second to think. "However most of it is in good shape and all even after the crash happened." Ashanti held a hoof up in the direction of the east. "It's over in that direction. It's about 120 hoofsteps that way."

Aliénor nodded while keeping her creepy grin. "Well it must be far better than my own equipment. I'm working out of a hut like building with very primitive equipment. It would be nice to work with something more sophisticated than a mortar and pestle." She confessed, "Ah sounds like it is close then." She swung one eye stalk in the direction Ashanti pointed in. "Let's be on our way."
