A sister and a brother wander out of the box and are never heard from again (Killed by a fox), while close after, a SkyClan warrior finds them and takes them to the clan, only for two of her sisters to die as soon as they're brought. they're suckled by a queen that had recently given birth, but the other two siblings contract greencough and one dies. Being the smaller of the two remaining kits, after a week of survival, she's given the name Littlekit, and the other, her brother, is named Crowkit.
Thankfully, both of them reach six moons and are soon apprenticed, even though Littlepaw is much...much quieter than Crowpaw, who is actually rather obnoxious. Littlepaw only talks to her brother, who speaks for her when her mentor asks her a question, or an answer is required from her. Their mentors train them well, and at Gatherings they are allowed to attend, the two apprentices stay together the whole time, going between clans to listen to stories. It was at one of these gatherings that Littlepaw started to talk more, becoming more active and social.
On the night of their warrior ceremony, Littlesong and Crowstorm take up their silent vigil, only to have it broken by an attack from a rabid fox. Littlesong goes towarn everyone, while Crowstorm stays and attempts to drive the fox away. Upon her return with some other warriors, Littlesong finds her brother dead. Stricken with grief, she all but tears her throat up with the loudest, most vicious sound one can think of and attacks the fox.
Waking up the next morning, she finds herself in the Medicine cat's den with a large gash on her head.
Her wound eventually heals, but though she is now fine physically, her emotional wounds run deep and she only talks when necessary, and even then she tries to only use one-word answers.
Littlesong is descended from ancient SkyClan warriors.
