Yep. I think negativity makes him thrive as a person. He feeds off of the negativity of the platoon (as he torments them) and it makes him feel good about himself. Its twisted, but... its Kururu. Haha

Back to the point, that's exactly what I think. As if the old man still has a bit of teenager-attitude in him, which converts to his sadism and defiance to follow orders without his own conditions.

Ritsu Namine is kind of creepy in the first seconds you meet him.
At first you're like "Aww she sounds beautiful"
And the next, "HOLY CRAP IT'S A BOY?!"
