Brandon goes in, this time making a shoot for Matt's legs in an attempt to take him down

Broandon shot for the legs and managed to get ahold of them! However, Matt managed to get his arms wrapped around the waist as well! So for the moment it was a slight stalemate of sorts. In which the first one to land a strike could very well end up gaining the upperhand!
So on that note, Matt attempted to headbutt Brandon in the back repeatedly in an attempt to get the slightly smaller man to let go!

after taking a couple of headbutts, it's time to switch strategy. as such, Brandon now attempts to catch hold of matt's head and drop down, looking to hit a jawbreaker using the top of his own head

Skull met jaw bone and Matt ended up springing upwards before crashing down to the canvas after the jawbreaker!

Brandon gets up and hits the ropes, then attempts a jumping knee drop across the head of Matt while he's down

Knee met skull and Matt flopped upon impact! After impact he rolled onto his side clutching his head, his teeth grit and one of his feet tapping the canvas.

Brandon rolled Matt onto his back and roceded witht he pin attempt! The ref slapped his hand against the canvas not once, but twice before Matt managed to kick out. This was going to be a long night wasn't it?

Brandon gets to his feet, not having expected to get a win so soon. still, he needs to keep matt down as he's feeling the effects of his war with angel. He reaches down to pull Matt up and attempts an irish whip to the turnbuckle

Brandon looks to follow him in with a clothesline against the turnbuckle. if connected, he'd attermpt to follow that up with a bulldog

Matt didn't get much time to rest, hell he didn't get any! Just as soon as he hit the corner, Brandon nailed him with the clothesline! Not to mention he soon found his face being driven into the canvas thanks to that lovely bulldog? No? Well there you go!

and now seems like as good a time as any to attempt to put this away, as Brandon attempts to lock in the Triangle choke

Yeah, Matt wasn't a big fan of being choked. It happened way too many times when he was running the indie scene. Anyway, Brandon yanked his arm and was proceeding to lock in the choke. Matt shifted and managed to avoid the coke, unfortunaty he got himself locked into a cross arm breaker or armbar, whatever you want to call it.
