Of course. She hadn't really expected her claws to do anything against the raging rhino's tough hide, but she had to give it her all. Knocked aside by the trampling, pain shot through her frame. Of course it could have been way worse and was just a bit of a scuff. She could have been crushed, after all, and she thanked her lucky stars for her reflexes. She sprang to her paws and darted to one side, aiming to attack the rhino once more.
Good lord, she wanted nothing more than to go back to her garden and putter around with the flowers. She hoped she survived this so she could do just that.

A hit! Her claws raked across the rhino, inflicting damage, and her heart soared with a sort of pride! Of course, she was no where out of danger yet. She was reminded quite quickly of this as the massive creature turned on she and the others, swinging his horn...

Akil could smell blood but he was quite sure he hadn’t been the one to cause it. Hopefully he was serving as a distraction from the other at the very least. So far, he didn’t feel very useful in this match. He noticed as the beast grew weaker with the attacks of the other cats and was momentarily distracted by the increasing noise of the audience. The fact that he couldn’t find Haqikah amongst the mass of hounds and slaves was slightly disturbing, he was sure the sight of his mistress would give him the courage and resolve he needed to go on. When his attention returned to the rhino, Akil realized that it might be too late to evade the next attack.

He felt his claws sink in but then the enraged beast seemed to grow desperate. The other cats must have attacked as well, perhaps they could indeed bring their much larger foe down! Grinning madly even as the rhino suddenly used it's horns to attack Chesh managed to leap away and roll. His body whapped about the ground like a tossed ragdoll but the cat must have been limber and relaxed.
He popped back up like a daisy in springtime and grinning her slowly turned his head until he could almost see the rhino upside down. Ah what fun this was, he would have to thank Mistress Chione when all was said and done!

IF a hit is not made then the kitty will lose 2 HP!

She wasn't fond of Cheshire, but she didn't hate him. He sometimes made her uncomfortable... But she was glad he was fighting at her side. Thus far, the two made a good-ish team. She felt bad for the third feline. He wasn't taken away like the fourth had been, but he had gotten the brunt of the rhino's attack.
Speaking of, she was quite fortunate that she had avoided it. Focusing her attention on the raging, yet weakening beast, she lunged in for another attack.

It was too late to evade. In a split second, Akil could see what was coming his way but he could barely react against the rhino’s attack. His paws moved to protect his vital organs instinctively but Akil was still projected a few feet in air, gasping for air as the cat got the wind knocked out of him. His mind went blank almost at once and he could only feel a sudden twinge of fear and shock at sheer brute force of the beast. He fell with a thud, the momentum causing him to roll in several directions before he finally stopped and remained frighteningly still, lying sideways on the dirt.
But he couldn’t stop yet. Haqikah was there, he wouldn’t allow the shame of having her slave just give up. His eyes opened slowly and rapids breaths began slow down and become more controlled. He coughed a couple of times and shook his head before his attention returned to the rhino. There was no thought this time, no strategy planned. There was something he had to do, someone he had to please and nothing was going to get in his way. After getting shakily back into four paws the brown and white slave darted towards the large animal, every bit of strength and energy diverted towards this angry sprint, fully intent on latching himself on the rhino’s flank.

Cheshire had been fairly lucky thusfar but it couldn't last forever. He let out a startled yowl as be felt the rhino strike. It hurt...he grinned, but this time his eyes narrowed turning the smile into something ominous. That rhino was in trouble, he thought.
He slunk low and moved towards the rhinos rear. With any luck he could get behind the rampaging beast. With even more luck he could score a hit on it's powerfully thick hide.

Luck had been on her side thus far, but she had a feeling it wouldn't be for long. Her claws scraped the rhino's sides, but she fell and could feel herself becoming open to a retaliation attack. She did her best to move out of the way, but braced for what pain might come.

The instant his claws touched the rhino, the huge beast made a sudden movement to throw the slave off. Tasting the earth for the second time, Akil returned to his feet with some difficulty, moving around the rhino in search of a weak point. He looked for the places where the creature was bleeding the most in hopes of perhaps aggravate a previous wound made by the other slaves. So far, he’d been nothing but a distraction – hopefully not to the other cats – but he could live with that if he knew he’d pulled his best effort into a fight he was obviously not prepared for. Still, he couldn’t deny feeling really frustrated at his own helplessness.

Chesh knew he was in trouble, but instead of his usual vanishing act he stood his ground. He hoped to make the rhino pay for the hit, but the truth was the sudden pain that hit him toppled him right off his feet. He lay for a moment dazed and idly wondered if that was what broken ribs felt like. His pupils seemed to attempt to focus on the large beast, perhaps in an effort to stir the rest of his body into motion.
He gingerly tried to force himself back onto four legs and felt them shake under his slight frame. Well if that Rhino went down he might well go down with it, did that make him as strong as a rhino or just plain foolish for getting into a fight with one? It was something he would have to save to ponder later if he wanted to live, now and quickly tried to move out of the thrashing beasts way.

The rhino is slightly drained from the attack, losing 1 HP. With another burst of strength he attacks each kitty in turn.
What I roll is what amount of HP you will lose if you strike my number or one off of it! ex. If I roll a 4 you will lose 4 if you roll 4,3,or 5 (roll 1 - 5)
If you do NOT get hit you may roll again (1-5) this will be an automatic hit!
