Rosalie instantly covered her mouth. "A seamstress, huh? That would be quite fun. Making your own clothes would be a nice change from what I normally wear. My style is so different from most women." she said.
As the woman changed the topic to what she had to cover, Rosalie nodded. "Well, apparently there's this rumor going around that some man here in town is doing illegal work against the government. He is creating some sort of life that the royals in Aerr don't want to exist. Have either of you heard this rumor? I mean, living here in town you must know more than those in Aerr, yes?" she asked, feeling almost fully better from her previous state.
She did wonder where this man could be. If they had really wanted to figure this out, the government should have sent soldiers over to raid everyone's house. Though after that thought crossed her mind, she instantly pushed it aside. After all, she wouldn't want such a thing to happen to her.

Amerald was pleased with both of the women's occupations. One being a seamstress and the other being a journalist and reporter. Though the latter seemed like it could be rather bad for him if she found out. That took a tole on his mind for sure. When the women exchanged glances, he just smiled. He wasn't sure what exactly was going on, but he didn't mind their bickering all that much. Did Candice take offense to what Rosalie had said? Maybe...but it didn't concern him, so he didn't fret too much about it.
"Oh, yes, what is the story you're about to cover?" he asked, very curiously. He had no idea it was about his plans or the rumor of him at all. But when he figured it out, a chill fell down his spine. His skin instantly turned a ghostly pale. Beads of sweat began to grow on his brow. He was nervous to say the least.
"N-no, I haven't heard of that rumor whatsoever. Haha. Not one bit." he said, trying to cover up the fact that he was nervous. He wasn't an actor at all, so that made things rather difficult. Had he just placed more suspicion on himself? Maybe...and now he was definitely worried. "F-feel free to browse the shop for anything else you may want. Stay as long as you need. I need to be going back now. Come back tomorrow and I'll have that surprise for you!" he said, smiling, instantly turning around and going into the back room.
He locked the door and leaned against it, slowly making his way to the floor. "Great...that means that the Aerr Government is on my trail. I mustn't let her tell them. But...hehe...I have a plan." he said, getting up and whistling as he made his way down to the basement.

Candice gave Rosalie a sympathetic smile, instantly forgiving her for her earlier patronizing. She could share her sentiment, her own style of clothing wasn't exactly casual for Levintol.
"Oh, that sounds dangerous. Though, I'm actually from Aerr as well." she responded somewhat indifferently. Candice didn't often read the news. What she knew was what she heard in people's chatter while walking in the streets. She didn't concern herself with what she didn't need to. As long as she was living comfortably, the rest of the world could deal with their grief.
"So, about your clothing..." She was quick to change topics to something she felt was relevant to her, "If you'd like, I could tailor you an outfit or two. I don't charge too much per commission." She waved dimissively at Amerald's quick departure.

Rosalie was taken back from Amerald's sudden actions. "Alright...I- was all she could say before the door was closed and she heard it being locked. "-guess I'll be...back...tomorrow." she said, her words growing farther and farther apart because of the abrupt manner in which he left. She found it rather rude to leave customers in such a hurry, but shook her head to allow the thought to leave her mind. She had her medicine and she was happy.
She turned to pay full attention to the other woman, Candice. She smiled and was surprised when the woman said she would make her some clothing. "Oh my, I would love to get some custom clothes made. Your little shop you own, is that here in town or in Aerr as well?" she asked, totally happy with the way things were going, almost completely forgetting the way Amerald acted and the fact that she did have a story to write. She figured that she could get some luxury out of coming here, and that was what she was now going to do.

"Actually," Candice ran a hand through her hair, a little embarrassed "I don't own a little shop. It's a home business, so it's run completely at my house." She reached into her bag, pulling out a small notepad. She flipped over the first page, which was covered in designs and notes, and tore out the second. "You just need to turn right as you enter Aerr housing district..." She scribbled out the directions with a pen she pulled out from a hidden compartment in the side of her purse.
She handed the little slip of paper to Rosalie. "You'll have to come some time this week so I can take your measurements. I'll also need to know what you'd like-" She paused, looking out the window. The sun was setting, she'd have to get home before dark. "You know, we can just discuss all of this when you make that visit, alright?" She clicked her tongue, winking at Rosalie.
Without giving the other woman much time to respond, Candice was out the door. She was anxious to get back to Aerr. She knew of a decently priced liquor store and needed to get there and back home before the sun set. Today, like all other nights, she would celebrate!
