Silva rummaged through a stack of papers on his small wooden desk. His small living space was poorly furnished with only a wooden desk, two chairs made with no backs, a medium bookcase that reached the ceiling, books and papers filling almost any desk and bookcase space he had.

He needed to make sure that the recipe in his head for a minor healing salve matched the one on paper.
"Now I know I put the paper here somewhere, but where?" He said scratching his head. Rummaging a bit more he was rewarded with his prize. "Aha! Finally the recipe. With this I should have enough to pay for-KKKRRRAAACCKKK."

Silva suddenly found himself on the floor looking up to his ceiling. Looking down he found that his chair had broken. One of its legs had snapped in two. Sighing he pushed himself upright then rose up to his full height. He pushed the small chair with a hoof and picked up the fallen recipe. As he looked at the recipe he found that he lacked a certain herb. Taping his fingers across the desk he pondered a solution.
"How am I going to get it? It only grows in the mountains. I suppose I could substitute another herb for it, but even then that herb grows out in the fields."
Then it dawned to him. He had heard about a new flower shop opening down by the docks. It might hold the harb he was looking for. Tucking the recipe snugly in a pouch he set off for the flower shop in high hopes.

The sudden break in silence startled Mint. She'd been busy sweeping, but her smile said she was more than happy to help. Setting the broom aside, she dusted her hands on her canvas apron and greeted the woman and her strange, floating friend. "Hello! I was just beginning to wonder if anyone was going to stop by today. How can I be of service?" Habitually, Mint stood with her feet together, back straight, and hands folded neatly over her apron. Her father had seen to it that she have a ladylike posture. While she tried not to be rude, the floating object caught and held her curiosity.

((OOC: No need to stress the words like that or have that look some people find that annoying and offensive. I didn't say that it was accurate I'm merely saying that a map would be helpful. As you can already see we all have a different idea of how this place is mapped out. And it's nice to see someone have so much of an interest in an RP to make an effort like that, no?))

"Are we here?" Dr. Reddin asked from the speaker of his jar. Without awaiting an answer he spoke up, "Hello there Madam, I am Dr. Reddin and it is a pleasure to meet you." He began rather formally his brain seeming to tilt forwards slightly in the jar in something of a modest bow.

"We are in need of some medical herbs if you have any cultivated and an abundance of poppies." His voice spoke out somewhat muffled from the odd speaker system while Mary wondered about the shop touching her fingertips to the delicate petals of a flower she did not know the name of but found it intriguing with a very pleasant scent.
