"I think Aki might be jealous if I named it Koa." Aki eyed Mau a little before laying down and stretching out, his tail twitching mildly like a cat's. Mau wasn't sure himself if he should really name a stuffed animal. It was... odd. And wasn't that a little childish? "I'll think of something to name it." He assured her.
"Pokemon are the center of my research. Both with the berries, and with the move pool dynamics between species." He thought a moment before laughing a little. "I had a breloom who thought he could fly... simply because Tropius could fly. In a way, I kind of wanted to let him fly... to teach him the move. That's how I got started."

Cal wanted to jump for joy! If she wasn't bandaged up and in front of Mau, she would have. She was surprised he even would want to name it. But it did mean a lot to her that he would. "Ok, just tell me when you do." She gave him a pleasant smile and contained her excitement.
She watched as the Vaporeaon's tail twitched. "Wow." she had never heard of a Breloom that wanted to fly. It was such a far fetched idea that it made him cute. "I would've liked to have met that Breloom. It sounds like he would be a lot of fun."
She soon relied that she was ignoring a nagging pain in her side. Maybe my wound started to seep.. She felt her forehead; it was a bit clammy. She really couldn't tell from what, the excitement, or her wounds. Either way, she didn't want to bring Mau into her mess. "Again Mau, I'm really glade you like your gift." She started to get up, "I think I should go back to my room." Although she said this, her body didn't react.
She felt up the side of her shirt. One of the cuts was seeping and she made haste to get off his bed. "I-I should go." She clenched her slightly bloodied hand behind her back and waited for Mau to move.

"Maybe some day." He smiled faintly. "But for now? You'll have to be content with stories of him." He watched her a moment. "Aye. I suppose it is best you get back to your room and rest. You need to take care of yourself." He was about to get up when Aki rolled onto his lap. "Akiiii." He sighed. "I'd show you out, but it seems I'm unable to. Will you be ok by yourself?"

"Then I'd be able to come over when I'm not so...." she thought for a moment, "Bandaged up?" She laughed a bit before she clenched her side. The pain was getting worse. She did her best to move around Mau and Aki without arousing suspicion, and made her way to the door. "I'm really glad you liked your gift." She turned and smiled, placing her hand on the door. "I'll see you later."
She went to turn the door knob, when she realized she had grabbed the handle with the wrong hand. She quickly let go, wiped the blood off of it, and grasped it in her other hand, "Uh, Bye Mau!" She opened and closed the door as fast as she could behind her, leaning on it to rest. "Now I need to get to my room...."
