This has to have been the most exciting and adventurous day of my life yet! I live on a new island called Cetalu provided with housing and essentials. I'm now part of a research team called "Project Aerandir" where I had been chosen to look after these two rare artifacts.

"Chosen" one may wonder, it seems these artifacts were the last ones that the older archeologists had found before leaving. I overheard as they packed up talking about how their dig-site was drying up. So maybe I really was the last one for now. Also, I don't think I was the first one on this private island. When I arrived today, I saw a few people walking around. I haven't met anyone yet since I had arrived here in the evening.

I will record my research and discoveries in a seprate, breif journal. But just out of my excitment, I was given the Grey wolf "fluff" and Barn Owl "feather". Please refer to my Research journal for further readings on itallics.

Tomorrow shall explore the island and hopefully meet some people!

Fae = black
Ombre = Indigo
Sage = Dark red

Fae had gone back to her home after having quite the exciting day. As she approached, however, she saw a few boxes sitting near her door. How could they not have notified her! She ran over to the boxes and read the tags in text, making sure that it was indeed her belongings. Now! She can modify her house. Fae opened the door and slid the boxes with light difficulty with both hands, then closed the door behind her.

She decided to do the upstairs first so the boxes would be lighter to carry downstairs. First, she opened the large and heaviest boxes that carried a few of her furnishes including: wooden chairs with cushions, a coffee table, and a few wide bookshelves. She then reached for a smaller box labeled "tools" and pulled a hammer and a container of nails. Quickly, she began to assemble.

Before too long, Fae had arranged the upstairs room properly, or also known as the 'visitor's room'. Laying the final almond-colored rug down to cover the cement, she begun to hall the rest of the boxes downstairs. Luckily, they would all fit down the hole and was pretty strong for her size.

Fae got busily to work again before sunset. The light illuminating from the upper level made the basement just visible to see around. In one corner, Fae put together her bedroom and made a mental note to remember to build a divider for her privacy. Her bedroom included a small bed stand and single bed mattress against the north wall, a nightstand on the left side of her bed (view from laying on the bed) with a battery powered alarm clock, a drawer, and two small "nests" for her Fenthry. A dresser full of her clothes was against the opposing wall beside a body length mirror nailed into the wall. Her daily journal was kept in the drawer in her night stand.

In the "main" room downstairs, she would make this suitable for her studies and research about Cetalu and Aerandir. Assembling a sturdy desk against the east wall, she set her work area up including her notebook computer, research journal, ink bottles and pens and pencils of all sorts. In front of the desk was a comfortable chair, and pinned to the wall above the desk was a map of Cetalu. On the other walls there were sketches and photos and posters about Aerandir. Bookshelves surrounded the area as well, filled with volumes of old history and text.

Fea looked around her progressed work. "It's too dark in here," she mumbled. Fae then found a box and went through it, finding various candles. She begun to set candles everywhere she thought extra light was needed. After she was finally done, she still had no idea what to do with the bathroom. Already exhausted, she fell onto her soft bed and pillow and smiled in self-satisfactory. After a moments rest, she realized it was too quiet in here. "Sage? Ombre?" She called and listened. Where had they gone? Only about a minute later did Fae hear a commotion upstairs and quickly stepped up the ladder.

There, sitting in the middle of the room was her shoulder sack, opened, and two curious Fenthry poking and tipping the twojars containing her artifacts. "Hey, you guys!" She cried out and quickly fell to her knees near them. She sat the jars upright and looked down upon the two of them. "You gotta be careful with glass, okay? It can brake and cut you. What were you guys doing anyways?" She asked, treating them like children. The two Fenthry started up at her.

"Brother Sage wanted to know wat inside jars!" Ombre squeaked accusing her older brother, just as any sibling would do. She pointed a tiny finger at him and hid behind a jar.

Sage glared at her and folded his arms and refused to argue. He saw no point and meekly shook his head.

Fae looked at Sage then looked back to Ombre who was trying to stay hidden behind a glass jar. "Ombre, are you lying to me? Remember what I told you what we were going to do when we moved?"

Ombre's ears drooped and sighed. She nodded her head sadly. "I is to behave..."

Fae frowned but smiled a little again in hope for her Fenthry. She carefully scooped Ombre up into her hands and stroked a finger reassuringly against her head. "That doesn't mean you can't have fun still-"Her eyes shifted to the two jars where Sage was observing his reflection. Sage grimaced. "I bet you guys want to know what's inside these jars, huh?"

"YEA!" Ombre squealed and fluttered her wings.

"Well, it's going to be a new family member soon-"

Ombre interjected. "A new sister?!" She gasped.

Fae chuckled to Ombre's eagerness. "That's the thing. We don't know yet until the feather in that jar and the fur in the other go into the same jar," she explained simply.

Sage blinked and pressed his paws against the glass. "So...it could be a new brother too?" He asked, or more so thought aloud. He then looked over to Fae when she didn't respond.

Fae nodded. "Yep, only they wont look like you-"

"What will dey look like?" Ombre interrupted again.

Fae grinned at such curiousness. "Well, they first turn into a small creature the size of a small kitten. Half of this creature is bird, and the other half is mammal. You guys will meet some of them soon if you want."

"When?" Sage asked, shadowing her question in monotone.

Ombre flew over to her brother and flicked him in the legs with her tail. "She said soon! Shhhush!"

Sage glared at her, then looked to Fae, hopeful in his expression.

"In the next couple days perhaps, but for now, let's find a place for these jars. Can you guys help me?" Fae picked up the jars and stood.

"Over here! No wai...here!"

The two Fenthry flew around the house like dragonflies with Fae attached to an imaginary string. Finally, they all decided to keep the jar on the nightstand beside Fae's, Sage's, and Ombre's beds so they could all keep an eye on the artifacts.

Today I met a lot of new people and possible friends! I met Nyxa and Lucius who's jar was glowing, but during our chat, her jar broke and the artifacts were replaced with a glowing orb! Then within minutes, Lucius morphed into a handsome and colorful rooster/panther gryphon! Quite a discovery!

I also met Dragonfly whose jar broke and merged into heron/raccoon gryphon by the name of Iniko. She's such a weird looking thing, but that's what makes her so adorable!

Eeven some of the adult Aerandir had to come see the birth of two new Aerandir! They are quite fascinating too. I met Rahujo, a female blacksmith, but I'm not sure of her race. She shook my hand, hesitant at first, I think it was her first hand shake. How special I felt. ^^ There was another, Osero, but we haven't met. I just overheard his name and I drew a sketch of him. I hope to meet him so I can give it to him soon.

Well, I finally got my house furnished. Not completely, but I did get most of it and all my stuff had arrived. My artifacts haven't done anything yet but look pretty, so hopefully after awhile I'll see some sort of change. I'm so excited to know its gender! I'm kind of hoping its female, but either way I'll love it all the same.

Alyosha
Dear Fae,
I am happy to note that the accomodation you were allocated has now reached a stage which is suitable for your Aerandir items to be placed together within a single bottle. This will allow for them to "merge" - admittedly, however, this process may take some time.

Study of the evidence gleaned from your artifacts has shown that it is 89% female. I know you've already included a name so i've set up the appropriate forms and merged the two for you!

Yours sincerely,

Alyosha.

Great news! I just recieved a letter from Alyosha confirming my accommodations. In other words, my Aerandir artifactsare now in the same jar! I'm soo excited. I hope they start glowing soon.

-I had a dream about my Aerandir last night. It's hard to remember it all, but from what I can faintly remember is how Pueblo looked like as a Gryphon and she started playing with all the rest of the Aerandir as children. It was weird but excited me.

So, just to keep track- I've so far met Nyxa and Lucius, Dragonfly and Iniko, and Rahujo. Sage and Ombre are getting really anxious to explore outside and meet some Aerandir. Perhaps I'll have to set up play date with one of my new friends, but I don't even know how they'll each react with each other. Though, oh my gosh! Valentines Day is so soon! I'll have to go to the mainland and shop. I need food and gifts for everyone on Cetalu so far. It'll be a great way to meet the rest of the people too.

I'm still overly excited that my artifacts are in the same jar now. Sage and Ombre are always asking questions and it's fun to answer them- they watch me intensily as if I were telling them a story.

I got to meet another islander today! Her name's Kiiato and she's about the same age as I. I felt more comfortable being around someone more my age and couldallow myself to open up a little. She has an Aerandir named Keanu who's jar was glowing! Pueblo should be glowing soon...I hope.

We both walked around the Centre a little bit, talking and sharing Aerandir information. It was nice. I got a lot done today. I also met Alyosha finally who wrote me the letter about Pueblo. Nothing too much to say other than that! I still havent been to the beach, and I'm probably one of the closest houses away from it!

Fae had gone back home- it was late night. There was a clear sky out that evening and the moon shimmered bright across the waters. In her windows were lights that were quickly blown out and darkened her upstairs area. Fae carried a candle holder allowing her light into the dark basement. Ooo, creepy. Not really though. She was used to wandering into caves and such.

There were also a few candles lit down here too, however, as she walked into her roomwith her newly built wall. Over the past couple days, she had built a wall to divide her research site from her bed corridors. Fae walked into the room and place her candle holder on top of the dresser and slipped off her pants. She went through her drawer and found a baggy t-shirt and slipped thaton before climbing into bed. Carrying the candle over the shadows of the two sleeping Fenthry on the nightstand, she smiled at them. Setting the candle down near them, she quietly opened her journal and begun to write:

I havent wrote in my journal since Monday, but I was busy adding a few things onto my house and foreging for food on the island. This island has a variety of edible berries, mushrooms, and other fruits/vegitables. I'm glad I'm not a heavy eater or else I'd starve. I'll be making an inland trip tomorrow or Saturday, however. I committe to those days as shopping days! For myself and my friends.

But something exciting happened today! Actually, a few things happened today. I met with Nyxa for a little while (before she passed out with a full stomach) and I saw Foenix there too! She was my old friend from the Fenthry preseration last year. Sage (who stoed away with Ombre in my bag) and Freya had a nice reunion, too. Ombre met Nehanda; Foenix's gryphonic Aerandir who's half horse and half swan. She is really pretty and reminds me of vanilla ice cream.

While I was invited to have halfa turkey sandwhich and some pear juice, I saw Dragonfly for a split second before she had to go too. But as I was sitting down, a large flash of light emitted from my bag! It was my Aerandir who is now glowing! She'llbe merging soon...I'm so excited.

Well, I should head to bed now. More to do tomorrow.

*Fae

As Fae finished her journal entry, the quiet pen tip making a soft scratching noise against the paper, she sat it down and put everything back into the drawer. Fae smiled at the site of the two Fenthry calmly sleeping. Lowering her head down, she whispered to them, "Goodnight," and blew out the candle, only a whisp of smoke left in its place.

I spent most of my day outside in front of my house since the walk didn't do anything except give me exercise. I looked around my area and started to plan ahead for Pueblo too. She's probably going to like the woods which is good since my house is surrounded by trees. I was thinking, if she did take a liking to the woods, I could throw some hay down and make a small clearing where she could play in. Who's knows until then, though.

Later, I saw Osero and Acia, though Acia ran into the Centre and never really "saw" her. I asked Osero about her, but didn't want to imbard. We went to his cabin and it's nested away from the community a little in the outskirts of the forest. I followed him there because he had just reccently gone hunting, and I wanted him to have the sketch I drew of him. Osero, and other adult Aerandir, really arn't too different from a regular person. Minuse the fur, wings, other essential animal parts and abbilities...I could tell from his warm expression that he loved the picture. I hope that we can become good friends- I find him very interesting. I asked him a few questions too and found out that he was the second Aerandir, Rahujo the first, and Acia the third. They also each don't have any one specific guardian, or from what I picked up from Osero.

Well, Pueblo is much more brighter tonight- She's practically my new night light! Sage and Ombre also got to play outside which I believed they enjoyed, so everyone's happy.

So I decided to check out this Valentine's Day bash at the Centre. I guess I always show up when people leave, but I got to talk with Foenix for awhile and the Fenthry ganggot to all play together. Sage even got his first kiss! Just on the cheek.

However, after Foenix left, this women randomly "appears" in the middle of the room. It didn't feel right to me but after Alyosha looked to me for help, I stepped up. I learned her name, Syrenrei, had two kids about my age "revived" from the past, could use teleportation in method of traveling, and she's a half cat demon. Now, I'm no experts on demons, and I haven't reallybeen around any of them before, so no one can blame me for being a little paranoid. I guess white hair signifies 'death'. I also tried to explain teleportation to Alyosha before, but it didn't make him let alone me feel any better about this manner.

Also, I learned something new about Alyosha. Though he appears 'normal', I should have suspected something when he offered a nod when we first met. It's only human accustom to shake another's hand when you meet them for your first time. It shows respect to the other person and courtesy. Alyosha admitted (after being accused) that he as well is half demon.

I left the party shortly after that. Before I gave Aly my Valentine's "card" until Syren became audacited. I didn't really have much to say left, and I was more or less in shock. Now that I think about it, Aly hasn't done anything to 'hurt' us (us meaning Aerandir owners) and as far as I know, he isn't a bad guy. That's it. Hopefully I'll see him again tomorrow.

The most amazing thing happened today!!! Pueblo is now a gryphon and she is soooo cute. She has, as predicted, an owl head and a wolf body. Her head had brownish-orange feathers and little brown wolf ears. Her face is white with a small beak and small black eyes- I can't tell her eye color quite yet.

Her body is a creamy brown with white undermarkings beneathe her belly, legs/feet, chest, and tail. She has a small tail and, oh! Her wings are quite large and they're the same creamy brown-orange, black, and white patterned wings.

Anyway, I missed her orb stage because I was, actually, studying about owls and wolfs to see if I needed to know anything else. ^^; Then I felt something at my foot and there she was! Ahh, I feel so good to know that I'm doing a good job in raising her.

So then...I took everyone outside for a hike! But low and behold, I saw Foenix with her own familiy outsideat the beach. So we went over and Nehanda and Pueblo played. Pueblo was a bit cautious, but after awhile, I think she started to warm up to her. Perhaps they'll become good friends!
Sage and Freya also cittered up a tree, and Twizzler met Nahda who was another Dfly gift.

After Fae was finish writing her entry, she placed her journal on top of her desk then looked into her room with the broken glass. She sighed. "Hey Twizzy, come here," she called for the little boy.

The little boy hopped off the couch, fluttering his wings to pick his speed up and peered downstairs upside-downwardly. "Yes, Miss Fae?"

She pointed to the glass wheather he could see it or not. "When Pueblo was in her jar, she broke out and got glass everywhere. Could you get me a small dustpan and brush out of the storeage outside, please?"

Twizzler smiled and nodded. "Sure," he said and started to climb back up. Fae had showed him the storage room before, so he knew where it was.

"Thanks! It's in the second-smallest box labeled CLEANING." As she watched Twizzy obediantly left, she yawned and looked aorund her home. It was getting cold down here and the fireplace hadn't been fully built. She'll have to write Aly about that since she knows nothing about constructing on her own.

Twizzy quickly returned with the dust pan and mini broom then climbed downstairs. He held them out for Fae to take with a self-satisfied smile. He enjoyed doing little tasks for his guardian...it made him feel like a regular kid with responsabilities. A regular kid.."Here ya go!"

Fae took the cleaning items appreciatingly. "Thank you, Twizzy," she smiled and gave the kid a noogie, rubbing a giggle out from him. However, Twizzler didn't move but look to her with gleefulness in his eyes. She put a hand to her hip and smirked. "I'll send a letter to Foenix soon! For now, go play with the Fenthry. You can go outside so long as you stay in our yard."

Fae watched Twizzler nod and run off with a grin, then took the dust pan and broom and started to clean up the glass shards. She carefully placed the shards into a different glass jar and sat everything onto her desk when she finished.

A few giggles were heard from upstairs when Pueblo swooped down the hole in the floor and landed on her paws upon Fae's desk silently. "Hoop!" She called out, swishing her tail side to side.

Fae, startled slightly, looked down to her Aerandir who was looking curiously up at her. "Hey Pueblo! How're you?" She smiled and collapsed into her computer chair.

Pueblo scratched at the ground and padded over to Fae before leaping into her arms forcfully. A few coos emitted from her throat as she nuzzled her guardian.

This was quite surprising, coming from Pueblo. She wrapped her arms around and gave her a nuzzle back, watching the feathers on the owl frill with excitment. "Aww...does someone need attention?" She giggled. The soft feathers tickled her neck. "C'mon, lets clean up the house. Foenix and Nehanda are coming over tomorrow to 'appraise' our house," she giggled then climbed upstairs.

As Fae held the door open to her guests and picked at Ieyasu's comment. Maybe she was being too comfortable. She fretted she had said something wrong before the two Aerandir followed the new gentleman inside.

Her walls were a creamy brown, almost tanish earth tone color with many oak or maple wood bookshelves lining the wall. In the corner was the main attraction with chairs half way around a coffee table, also wood. Several paintings were framed upon the wall-perhaps the artist was Fae?

Twizzler had heard someone run inside and screamed for his name. Raising a brow, he called for her, a light muffled sound. "Hey! I'm down stairs," he called out. Yay! She was here! He quickly worked out some wrinkles in his clothes nervously.

However, something else stired in Fae's house as well. Zipping from one side of the room, two Fenthry appeared in the new friend's face. "Oh, these are my Fenthry that I got off the mainland. Sage and Ombre," she introduced, then shooed them away. How rude they were! They must have made him feel even more uncomfortable. Grinning around her house, she felt it wasn't enough- nervous, this was her first time having people over.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 20, 2005 4:26 pm

Ieyasu stepped inside after Fae. He didn't look particularly uncomfortable - the suddenness had just surprised him slightly. He wasn't exactly the type to shy away or be nervous.

For a quick moment, he looked around himself. Nice house. He then caught the sound of shouting somewhere else in the house. Looked like more than Fae and the Aerandir lived here. Not that he hadn't guessed that from the kid's shouting earlier.

What he hadn't guessed about were the two little fairy-like creatures suddenly zipping into the room. Staring once again, he tried to follow their quick movements about the room, before Fae quickly shooed the little things out the room again.
"Fenthry?"

Foenix laughed. "Yes, Fenthry! I have one too, a little girl named Freya. I'm sorry, guys, "she said to Sage and Ombre. "Freya stayed home this time. We've got a new little baby at home, and she's helping Kylara with him."

Nehanda followed the humans eagerly into the house. It was so different from Foenix's, whose home was filled with deep, soothing colors. Stopping at the door, she looked, once more, over her shoulder at Pueblo. Did they want to go in, or explore aruond outside without any supervision?

Nahda squealed eagerly and followed Twizzler's voice until she found him. "Twizzy! Whee!" she giggled. "Let's play! Let's play hida-and-seek!"

At her yell, Foenix winced once again. "I'm so sorry, Fae," she apologized. "Nahda has absolutely no manners at all." Turning a circle, she smiled and went on to another topic. "I think your house is lovely, by the way. The earth tones definitely suit Pueblo, and I think they suit you, too."
