If I had to spend my money on only 1 it would be the 360. It's got an amazing online community(minus the 5 yr olds that think they are tough! xd ) A good game variety. And above all else my 360 has never let me down! (i.e. broke)

I own both, and I can honestly say they have two different target audiences. Like someone stated before, the PS3 is more for single players and RPG players, and an overall good multimedia Blu-ray system. The 360 has better multiplayer aspects and a larger library of games.

I prefer the 360. I prefer the games.

The red ring of death problem is pretty much fixed with the new slims I would say. Also you can turn 5 year olds into a positive and rag on them for your personal entertainment. Failing that... Mute can work wonders.

That being said, PS has had some kickass exclusives (Kingdom Hearts) but I don't think the PS3 specifically has anything worth buying the console over.

PS3.
I will say, though, that I am a rather complete Sony whore.

Normally, I would avoid these kinda arguments, but since it hasn't really escalated into a debate, I'll bite.

I don't feel one is better then the other. They're both a form of entertainment. Sure, each console has their own exclusive games, and one has a higher price then the other, but in the end, they're both just entertaining pieces of hardware.

I heard PS3 online is free versus the $50 a year for XBox.
I've only played XBox360 because I won it in a contest.

Yes PSN is free and XBL costs. But its because of a single fact. Because Microsoft is charging its community, they can offer better servers, more offers, etc. Besides, $50 a year? come on... I could find that change in my couch in a year. But there are a few main reasons why I prefer the Xbox over the PS3. 1. controller size, if I wanted to be uncomfortable playing video games I would bust out my Nintendo 64. IDK about you but my hands have grown since I was 6. 2. Price. I bought the Xbox 360 Slim the first day it released. While at Gamestop I realized I could get a 250GB PS3 for just over $100 more than the 360. WTF? That and a few small things like game selection and community. So I wil have to say....
