Renkon Root Artistic Genocide Do you mean like a comprehensive list of all the faiths and paths that fall under the pagan umbrella? That's a near impossible undertaking. ... could kick your a** !! Technically, it's not impossible. Just inconceivable. 3nodding
But really, I've seen some good basic lists out there that cover everything with a label, so to speak. Normally, anything without a label would fall under neo-paganism.

Artistic Genocide Falling Stars like Rain Maybe, if im not being to brash, you should create a small post or something comparing Wicca with other views associated with it. Like the characteristics of said view. I'm going to attempt to major in religious studies and its really hard to decipher from whats what in this system. I am interested, and want to know more, but i want to know which branch is described by what. I think it would also be beneficial to others in this guild by classifying what they really are believing in. I would defiantly help. I've done a lot of studding, but i feel like, i'm not sure whats what (until i read many posts on here), but many things are misleading and hearing things from people who seem to be legitimately Wiccan help. I know that there are many different things, It's just misleading to read anything, or by word of mouth (unless y'all because you seem legit), but yes! I just feel like if this guild had a sort of, post on what they should call themselves, then maybe they wouldn't call themselves Wiccan.

Well, I put up a modified version fo the one from Witchvox up in an announcement. But, the Asatru part is severely lacking, so if you wanna add some stuff up there feel free to let me know and I'll hope right on it!

The multiple paths thread is a great idea. I hope a lot of new people will read it. It should definitely get the point across that we care about correct terminology and educating people here. Hopefully that'll help us avoid having the same argument over and over again (although I know it's inevitably going to pop up again from time to time. XP ).
Anyway, don't be afraid to post here. As others have said, we're not trying to bash anyone, we're very open to different ideas. It's just that we try to be informative when we see that people are using incorrect terms and such, and unfortunately sometimes the conversation gets harsh. I always try to be polite when discussing these things, so that new members don't get chased away, but sometimes arguments are inevitable either way. However, I assure you that you're not going to get your head bitten off for having your own beliefs. wink
