Hello,
I'm Rachel. I'm 16. My Craft name is Teagan Derryth. I'm an eclectic kitchen witch, mixing solitary wicca with revivalist druidry to perform practical magick. I've been studying for 5 years, having gotten into it in the 6th grade. My mother was a practicing Wiccan when I was younger. I'm interested in art, theater, music, writing, herbology, crystals, and faery magick. I've never worked with a coven or grove, but I'm creating an eclectic study circle with my friends who've been with me from the beginning, and the two boys that I've been helping out.

2 - What is revivalist Druidry?
3 - Why do you add the K to the end of Magic?
4 - Why that craft name and how did you get it?

My name is Mizzy call me Iz if ya' wanna.I'm as country as corn on the cob and im
nicknamed mouse or mrs.shakesphere at school cuza my high voice (1) and my very creative and poetic imagination (2)
you can typ on google kogas101 and get like as much imfo as you could want about me (222 articles or 23 pages filtered) but jst know i lied like a nanny got on a bridge to that the site would take me some odd years ago cuz i wasn't eightteen and they wouldn't let me in so don't pay a lick attetion to the age.
if you can deciper my poetry you can find the true me that i cannot even seem to fid when i look to my soul in the mrror each day.so good luck on understanding me cuz even i can't do that.

something i didn't say wuz tht i lik to take items tht hav value to make "spells". the reasomn for the quotes is cuz im not sure you could call it that
i got some grass up from in the yard where my nannas ashes were when she died when i wuz three and made a wish to say when it dried up i wouldnt need a reason for livin an it still as fresh as the day i picked it.
i like to do most all agic i try at night.once i tried somrthing every night, now im not saying it worked but i tried to make it rain cuz of a really big drout but the fifth day i did it(night of the full moon)we had a hurricane warning so bad we hadta eat lunch in the hall way and stay an hour or so later than we were suposed to.
the thing i need help wit is see...i say something i think will happen from a feeling and well... it comes true but some times i getta head of mysle and something very VERY bad happens.see we hav a star player on the football team and i don't watch it much but we were loosing and so(me and jordan my younger friend from school who is the only person i told about my witchiness(?)(srry dont know how to word it...)any way she helped me piece together something...to make a long story short i wuz concentrating on the moon when it dissapered and our star broke his leg resulting in us loosing the restof the season.
am i jst a freak?i don't know i think im jst wierd but i never tell anyone cuz some peple lik Dj (male friend) try to use me too get them outta test(i said we would hav 26 test one week and he almsot killed me when we did...)
anyone help here?

1) I do use correst grammer and punciation normally, but when i type fast i screw up badly on those things.
2) Sorry, i just feel like a freak sometimes when I see things or say things that happen afterward and I said that as best i could in my fourm/post thingy. And since i'm having like a retake of people making fun of me not to long ago from the same thing, I can't quite type or get out what i need to say right because I feel upset and everything feels like judgement to me right now.
3) My computer flips out on me sometimes and then I can't do certain things because it will not allow me too.(my grammer is limited to my current level in education)
And also sorry for the numbers but I had several points to make.

Greetings, I am Rose Lemaster, a new practicer in this general area of religion. Currently I'm learning all I can, but E. Neo-pagan may be what calls to me, but I won't be positive until I find my path. I had gone to a few meetings, but due to no license to drive and how my mother is entirely against me going or even being a non-Christian, I've been forced to stop going and so can't wait to move with my significant other in Canada. I love all creatures except perhaps the stinging types (I can't bring myself to kill even spiders or bees), and I prefer natural landscapes rather than cities. I've discovered my Guardians some years ago, though unfortunately had recently lost my Familiar Eclipse earlier this year due to an incurable disease (lukimiea(sp?)). Though to my knowledge, I have little and searching on the internet with a phone is both limiting and unsufficient to learning from misleading sites. So basically, that's all I have to really say.

I'm a 23-year-old college student, amateur writer, and artist. I like music, animals, environmentalism, art, literature, gaming, astrology, astronomy, my family, my boyfriend, my pets, and my friends.
I consider myself an 'Earth Witch', by which I mean that I'm an environmentalist magic-user who works primarily with nature spirits. I could also be considered an Eclectic Neo-Pagan, since I also work with various deities on occasion.
As far as personality goes, I tend to be rather solitary and introverted, but friendly. I like helping people and I'm good at giving advice. I'm usually a very easygoing, down-to-earth and patient sort of person, but I can become a snarky b***h under negative circumstances. My astrological sign is Leo, and my Chinese zodiac sign is the rabbit. I'm at the guild pretty often, so I'm sure most of you have seen me around, but for those of you who are new, I'm pleased to make your acquaintance.

As I am, you will be 1- Because the Wiccan Rede and Law of Return are part of my beliefs. You can infact be a Wiccan and a solitary practitioner. Read Scott Cunningham's books. 2- Revivalist Druidry was a pagan group inspired by the ancient Druids. They do not try nor do they claim to recreate the ancient systems. It's simply a philosophical way of living in harmony with the earth and its energies. 3-I use a "k" at the end of magick because that was simply the way I was taught (by my mother and her friend who happens to have studied the craft for over 30 years). I feel that it differentiates the magic people assume I practice, and the prayer-like magick that is real. 4-I have this craft name because it's what I have chosen. It means "little poet, linked to the oak" in gaelic. It fit me perfectly because I love poetry, I incorporate it into my rituals all the time, and I feel a deep connection to the oak. Under the tree-calendar based on the ogham, my symbol is an oak, and it has always been one of my favorite trees.

As you were, I was The Rede is not Wiccan. It first appeared in a speech by Doreen Valiente in 1964 - at least a decade after Gardner founded Wicca. It was never a part of Wiccan law, or practice. And "rede" literally means advice - since when is one required to take advice? Both it, and the Three-fold Law, are new-age constructs. It's up to the individual Wiccan whether or not they choose to believe them, as is their right. Belief or disbelief in either is not a defining characteristic of being Wiccan. Why do you think I asked you questions BEFORE getting all technical? Drop the ******** persecution complex and realize I'm trying to help you not attack you.
Belief=/=fact.
Wicca is a right to practice religion, belief and faith are not what's important to them. Yes belief and faith are part of their religion, but you cannot be Wiccan without being in a coven, being at least 18 years of age (though now most covens want you to be at least 21), and be a proper person. You cannot learn the correct rituals/rites/practices that make Wicca what it is without joining a coven.
Solitary Wicca does not exist. Eclectic Neo-Paganism does. Cunningham's books are very good and full of a lot of great information if you can get past the fact that he does not teach Wicca. He even calls his path "The Standing Stones Traditions," which is a solitary WITCHCRAFT path.

The reason Caleith is questioning and correcting you is so that you'll know what your religion's true and proper names are. Cale may seem harsh, but he really is just trying to help you get your facts straight.
Wouldn't you prefer to know the real terminology for your faith, rather than using words that actually mean something else?
