Hisaki took a running dash at the pair of ninja, and jumped. He cruised over their heads and landed on the path ahead, and yelled "Sayonara!" As soon as he could, he took off sprinting. Kunai streaked by his head as he ran, but after a few rushed turns, Hisaki found himself lost again. Hisaki grimaced, "Ugh! What did I do to myself now?!" Hisaki kicked the wall and fell against the wall behind him. He let himself slide to the ground. He sat there for a bit, then pulled off his joker hat and shook out his hair, "Jeez. Every hallway in this place looks the same..." Hisaki glanced around the current fork in the road, and caught sight of a mark. Squinting in the dim light, he neared it, and scratched his head, "Is that one of the ones I left? Oh... Crap... What if other people are making marks too?" Hisaki's eyes darted around, "Is this familiar? Have I been here before? I need a better way of marking the walls. If someone else does the same thing as me, not only will I get confused, but I'll be more lost than ever! It's not like I can see the full maze!" Hisaki stood up and positioned himself in the middle of the four way crossing. He turned around several times, and suddenly realized that he had no clue which way he came from because of the damned mark. As he turned, he noted several more on each passage, "WHERE AM I!?!" Hisaki screamed, gripped his head. "Take a deep breath Hisaki. Come on, there's a way out of this, no need to freak out now..." Hisaki sighed attempting to calm down. He turned around once more, and looked at the four way crossing he was in the middle of. Each path was dark, and looked almost identical, "Which way?" Hisaki took a long draw of the cigarette he'd practically forgotten was in his mouth, and suddenly the idea came to his head, "Ashtray! I can make ash marks on the walls! No one else will try that!" Hisaki pushed his cigarette into the wall a bit, grinding a bit of smoldering ash into the wall. Hisaki grinned, then slid the cigarette back into his mouth, "We have our heading... Ugh, why does that sound so weird?" Hisaki noticed the reason was because he was alone in such a vast puzzle, "Oh, that's why..." Hisaki shrugged, then sulkily walked further into the dungeon. Hisaki traveled down the hall, pushing cigarettes into corners as he went. As he walked, he occasionally saw one of his own ash marks, and then moved on. Finally though, Hisaki saw that he was getting somewhere! The structure of the cavern was beginning to change. Instead of the upward walls that he'd gotten used to, it seemed like the cave was pinching off and leading to an entirely new cave section. Hisaki's spirits lightened, I'm getting close I think!Quote: 54% Got a 50 That means I get +2 towards the maze. Hisaki took a running start and began to travel towards that fateful crease in the cave. Hisaki watched toward the ceiling, directing himself with the features of the cave above. With a heading to follow, it became easy to choose a direction. Even when it seemed the most confusing, getting to the second area of the cave seemed like it was easier than ever. Following the crease, Hisaki stopped. Not much else was visible from his perspective in the maze. He knew which general direction to move in, and what lied in a short area away, but that really wasn't a whole lot when it came down to finding the right path. Maybe if he could see a little bit of the layout of the cave, he'd have an idea. However, in his current status, he had no clue where to go next.

Quote: Intx2 vs. 100 (45)x2 = 90 vs. 100 is 49% Roll to see If Kasei gets the tags... FAILED. Hisaki sat down on the ground and crossed his arms, "Where do I go now?" Hisaki looked around, there were eight paths in front of him. "This is getting ridiculous, I mean really! Eight paths, and none of them are favorable in any way. Path One." Hisaki scanned down it with his Byakugan, "One Ninja, ten traps... correction, nine traps. He just fell into a dust chute. Path Two:, "His eyes averted to the second array of pathes, "Dead End, connects with Path Three. Path Three is also dead ends and circles. Path Four has traps, and stretched farther than I can see. Path Five redirects and loops around six, merging with Path Seven. Path Six is enclosed, thus is useless. Path Seven has zero traps, but a group of three ninja are slowly making it out of my field of vision. Finally, Path Eight is a simple dead end with a single trap." I wish I could see where I'm going. I'd take Path Four, but I don't know if It'll be a wild goose chase. I could Astral Project and take a look from the sky! YEAH I'LL DO THAT" Hisaki took a deep breath, stifling his excitement, "What was that incantation again? Umm... Release my soul from these carnal restraints! I fly to the light of the Astral Plane! First Realm: Visions of Parallel Torments." Although this wasn't the original incantation he learned, it did the trick. Hisaki's soul evacuated itself from his body and soared upwards toward the ceiling. It only reached inches above the walls before his soul snapped back into his body violently. Hisaki's head smacked against the wall behind him, "So much for that..." ((89 lines))

Fuyu looked around the sitting area, pondering on what he would be doing for the first test. he'd been given a rather big number so he figured he'd be in the tail end of this portion of the exam. Whist this didn't bother him, he couldn't focus on the task at hand quiet yet. His mind was still racing about what could be happening with his father. He'd been sent gifts by him so he had to still be alive... right? He knew that there was only two ways to find out for sure. See his grave, or meet his father face to facee. He was hoping the later one but knew that the first possibility was an option none the less. He prayed in his mind that it would turn out positive but while he was he heard another number called. Not his but very close. Fuyu looked around the waiting area and couldn't really recognize anyone. He thought he'd seen someone familiar but it was just the shape so it didn't know.He waited as calmly as he could for his turn. Time seemed to slow down to a crawl, probably because he was excited and just wanted to get everything over and done with so he could find out more about his father. Finally his turn came with a few names he had no-idea who they were. He followed the instructor and entered the door he was told to. Once inside he looked around immidiately and noticed something, pieces of paper on the wall. He quirked his head as he pondered on what they were and what he should do for his first move as there were three corradors he could walk down. Quote: Int(x2) vs 100 70(140) vs 100 = 40 Therefor Fuyu has 54% chance of realizing what it is. Stupid roll.... {10/50 and total of 68 lines}

Ka'rinth would look around the room slowly before moving to a corner behind a sealed box and settling his cloak around his body before using it's built in feature to blend with the wall like a chameleon. There he would wait to see what else would happen as others came to the room and moved on or fought.

Erkamina continued into the area, trying to think as she walked seeing as the path seemed to go off in all sorts of directions. She got out her knife as she walked, trying to get a feel for the area by tapping the 'walls' with her knife. They were solid enough to probably withstand several attacks from even a Jounin without crumbling. She nodded and moved forwards, finding a division in the maze. "Well, how the hell am I supposed to know which way to go. I guess I could try one and see where it goes. If it's a dead-end I'll just double back and try the other one. It shouldn't be too hard." She said slyly as she took the left path to continue further into the maze. As she walked she noticed off-shoots of paths off the left path, but she figured the best bet was to remain on an off-shoot of a main path, which was the one she was on. All the sudden she reached a dead end. "Damn, should have taken one of those small paths." She said darkly as she made the Kanji for her name in the wall with her knife. She sighed and doubled back, walking down the first off-shoot she found by turning right. She muttered and growled under her breath as it too had multiple sub-paths connecting to it. What was this place? Was it a maze or a labyrinth? It felt like the walls themselves were conspiring against her. She went down the fifth path she saw, this time to the left again. She felt like she had been walking for a long distance but it was only a few paths, and it was all in a building- how far exactly could she go in this hell-hole of a maze? She growled again as the path she had chosen reached a T cross-path, just as the first one had. Did she seriously just go in a freaking circle? No, she couldn't have. She sighed and went right this time around, trying to figure this all out. Why the heck would someone make such a thing for the shear purpose of a test? There had to be a way out of this mess. After all, there were others here, right? They had to be finding their way to the goal... Right? It made no sense for her to be the only one having this much trouble. She continued down the paths, not really keeping track now, and marking dead-ends with her knife and doubling back more times than she really wanted to count. There had to be a better way. She didn't really know any 'special' jutsu to help find her way and she couldn't be two places at once. Even with a clone jutsu it wouldn't do her any good. Man she wished she learned something more, maybe a way to punch through solid walls? No, that was impossible wasn't it. She sighed again and continued to make her way through the maze, this time trying to actually find whatever it was she was looking for. Was it the exit or the center? She was so confused. But she had to find her way to prove herself, to prove her ability, to honor who she was. She wasn't going to just lie down and accept failure. She was a Mist Nin and Mist Nin went down fighting with everything they had. She felt the pride of the headband she'd earned coursing through her and she made her determination even more steadfast as she took her knife to the walls of another path, even though it wasn't a dead end. Maybe if she marked her choice in paths she'd know where she'd already been. So she made the first Kanji of her name on the chosen direction and went her way, trying to find some measure of progress in this place. She sighed as she came across a four way split, two paths in each direction. "Holy crap!" She said suddenly, kicking at a corner of the wall. "This is really a head-scratcher. I can't figure this out. I go down one path and it splits in four. I hate this maze." She said darkly as she chose the left-most path, making her mark as she did so. She sighed as she made several curved turns along the path and there were not any paths off of this one as of yet. Perhaps she'd found the main path to the exit or center or whatever. After all for mazes there was only one real solution, everything else ended in a dead-end or turning back around and starting over. And walking in circles certainly didn't get anyone anywhere. She wondered if she was making any real progress in this hell-hole maze so she started looking for a path that had her mark so she could know for certain that this was indeed a path she hadn't traveled before.

Oasis slowed down as she noticed a widening opeing and finally she came to what she assumed was the center. There were boxes around a pillar that had a note that said take one. She knew what it meant but by-gum was she tempted to break a piece of the pillar and take it. However before letting her mischevious side get the better of her she cracked open one of the boxes and retrieved the stone kanji from within. "Neat." she says lightly before picking the object up and tying the string to her belt beside her headband. She looked up to the pillar again and couldn't contain herself from picking a stone from the pillar, she slipped a kunai from its holster bag and carefully plucked a stone from the pillar. She didn't really have a reason why, other than the pillar had a note saying take one and didn't say the boxes. She put the stone in a storage compartment in the same bag that her kunai were stored in. Now she was ready to depart and so she did. Oasis looked around for a moment and found a path which she zipped down, she wasn't thinking about it at the boxes but it occured to her now, that either she was extraordinarily slow and got there at nearly the end, OR there wasn't enough boxes for the number of competitors. So she decided it would be in her best interest to be quick and sneaky. She put her hands together for a moment and then took off down the path she chose moving in flickers making following her very difficult as she already left next to no physical impression on the surface, as she zipped down the path she would occasionally move up a little higher and skip off the wall executing more of a wall to wall movement until it was apparent that she would need to choose another path. She would only slow for that moment to look or feel the ground.

Current Maze Total: 8 Hisaki sat still and pondered why he couldn't astral project, "Maybe it was the incantation. I know that it wasn't right, but still, my soul left my body for a couple of seconds... Maybe there's something on the cieling? Hisaki gazed at the end of the labrinth walls, and caught sight of a tag of some sort, "GOT IT! The tags are anti-cheating tags! They block people trying to use genjutsu crap to cheat. Haha! And people think I'm stupid! I bet if I wanted to, I could jump right out! Hehehe, I totally should... But somethin' tells me that if I do, I'd get punted out of the tournament for good. That would mean no Stage Two and no Chuunin Rank. Hmph!" Hisaki got up and waved his fist as he shouted, "I'M ON TO YOU SOUND NINJA! I KNOW WHAT KIND OF TRICKERY YOU'RE TRYING ON ME! TRYING TO LURE ME TO CHEAT? NEVER! HISAKI NEVER CHEATS! HE DOES THINGS THE COOL, HEROIC WAY!" Hisaki cleared his throat, "Heheh, good job Hisaki, showing them what's up." Hisaki looked at the super branched area, then chose Path Four. Path Four, he recollected, Has traps, and stretches farther than I can see with my Byakugan alone. It seemes to be a winding path too, meaning that this could be the metaphorical red carpet to my destination. Hisaki chuckled, and said under his breath, "I hope this is the way. He dashed off in chakra-infused strides, easily bypassing some of the early traps. Trap dust chutes, spiked floors, and tripwires were nothing when you're taking jumping strides. The farther he went though, the more he had to slow down. Quickly, the path became riddled with traps and snares. Only a minute down the path, he had to almost come to a complete stop. In front of him was practically a wall of metal ninja wire. The ninja wire connected into the walls. The walls had mechanisms that shot needles at unwary ninja. Had Hisaki not used his Byakugan, that would have been it for him. Hisaki stood outside this great web of wires and string, and thought back to when he faught Team Kaju on the Ramen Mission. He could remember being caught in a web just like this, but he got out somehow... I was caught in a net of inivisible wires by that Nashi guy. If I remember right, I was hanging in midair, and was extremely vulnerable. Not my shining moment... That's when Yuki showed up. With an uncharacteristically excellent performance, he threatened the life of Team Kaju's leader. In that time frame, I got out... But how'd I do it? Hisaki wracked his brain. For some reason, memories that didn't show him in the limelight were SO hard to remember! I used... I think I tried looking for a gastank, but there wasn't one. That's when I used the... Sharingan? Yeah! That was it! And I could see every wire with super detail! With that sight, I cut up the wires using my own chakra! That's what I did. I cut enough of them to loosen the wire and lower myself to the ground. That's what I can do here! I don't really need chakra, but I could use a kunai, and carefully trip each wire, thus disarming the trap! Maybe if I do that, I'll find my way out of the maze!((112 Lines))

Erkamina noticed none of her marks along the paths so she was relieved. She was making some form of progress through the corridors of maze walls along each side of her body. She noticed that this current path had only one turn off so she took it, trying to get the heck out of here. All these walls were making her claustrophobic. And all this walking was making her tired as hell. But she had to endure, she had to be successful, she had to win! She studied the walls still, looking for her mark to make sure she wasn't going in circles, it was her only indication that she was making some form of 'progress' in this Gods-Forsaken MAZE. She felt like she wanted to scream but she withheld that desire, not wanting to be thought insane for doing such a thing and being disqualified. She sighed and continued walking, mentally looking for another path to take. Instead she came to a dead end. She mentally cursed and turned back around, going back to the turn off she'd taken and trying to find another way out.

Erkamina continued forward, searching for another turn-off. After all, the entrance was on the edge of the maze and they were supposed to be finding their way to the center, she figured. That was where most of the paths seemed to be headed, even the ones that were dead ends seemed to all point at the center of the maze. But there was only one true path there and she was hard pressed to find it first. She started walking faster, taking whatever path she thought would get her there and marking it as she came to it. She wasn't to particular about which direction she was going because she couldn't be certain about which direction she came from. She thought she came from the right hand wall but she could be wrong so taking all lefts would probably end up getting her lost. So she just went on instinct for now, trying to find her way without a 'gift' of any kind. She slid around a corner and started to see something new. Or rather something rather infuriating. A six-pronged path, including the one she had come from. One forward, one backward, and four total towards the sides. She cursed mentally and checked each of the paths for her mark, not seeing any of course, but she tried to see the ends of each path even though they seemed to curve and twist longer than her eyes could see. What she wouldn't give for even one 'gift' right now. No, she had to prove the worth of the unknowns, the normal ninja, those without those blood-limits that had to work hard to get anywhere. She wanted to struggle to become better, to become more than a face in the crowd. She tossed her knife at the wall and it tinged off towards the ground, pointing the opposite way she'd thrown it. "Well, I guess I'll go that way then..." She muttered as she picked her knife back up and turned right. She continued down the corridor, trying to find some sign that told her that she was on the right path this time around. She sighed as she saw another path, this one with her mark on it. She'd gone in a circle, or at least she'd been here before. She turned back around and ran back towards the six paths, scratching one off mentally.

Erkamina continued on her deductive reasoning methodology of solving this maze, going down each path in turn until either A she reached a dead end or B she reached a mark that she had made prior. It was a long-shot but it was her only option, after all this maze was meant to challenge the Genin to think and act like Chuunin. She took a deep breath and looked at the corridors in front of her. Three had her mark, three did not. She pointed her knife at the second and nodded, turning down that pathway and marking it on her way. She noticed other markings here and there but didn't really give them much heed. As long as they weren't 'Er' she didn't care. And her handwriting was pretty distinctive anyway so even if it was that particular symbol it wouldn't, necessarily, be hers. With this in mind she continued down the path and noticed a weird mark on the path directly to her left. It wasn't one of hers, that was certain, but what was it? She sighed and shook her head and followed the path, figuring if someone made the mark it meant something was ahead. What she wasn't sure but it meant that some form of solution to this mess was just around the corner, she could feel it. She stepped carefully as she noticed the ground was slightly differently colored, only for a small explosion to rock the area. She landed hard on her butt and raised an eyebrow as the smoke cleared to reveal a dead end on the other side. So it was a trap. Great, that was all she needed along with being lost was a trap.

Erkamina got back up and dusted off her rump and turned away from the dead-end come trap. She sighed and walked back towards where she had seen that weird mark. She traced it and added one to it. 'Trap' was added to protect some other stupid person from making her mistake. She walked away and continued to try to find her way, ignoring paths that seemed to go nowhere but curved. She stretched against the wall as she reached another multi-split path, trying to see if this one was marked as she had the other one. Only one of the current four paths were marked. Wait, four? She'd gone that far backwards? She growled and cracked her jaw in aggravation, her teeth grating against one another as she adjusted her jaw back into its proper place. She then popped her neck swiftly, her eyes looking relieved as the tension melted away from her upper back and neck. She decided to try the second path, marking it as she got to the entrance, and walked down it for a while. She wondered how much farther this maze went. It seemed she was making progress though.

Erkamina finally felt like she could see the light at the end of the tunnel and that she was nearly done with this hell known as the first test. If this first round was so 'hard' then what would the second be like? She sighed and shook her head, looking at the paths in front of her again. She only had one left to try, luckily, but it could just be another dead-end. After all, that was what her luck seemed to be lately. She sighted what seemed to be the center of this maze just ahead, she just had to find the path that led her there. In fact, all she had to do was get close and the path should be visible to get to that place, that oh so wonderful end to her personal hell. She felt the rush of nearly completing this task close at hand and marched forward with new ambition and direction. She found herself going down the path with a speed she didn't know she was capable of wielding. She felt like she was flying. That was it, she could feel it, success was just a hand's grasp away. Erkamina decided to take a chance and take the path to the right, even though the center was to her left. Why she decided that was uncertain but she figured that all the paths thus far were the opposite of what she had expected so why not give it a try. The center was still in view, just shrinking away as she walked but she hoped that this path looped back around and met back up with the center. After all, this was a maze and all mazes looped around somewhere along the line. So she had to be right about this. She sighed and started jogging, hoping that she was on the path that she needed to be on. The path did indeed make a few turns here and there but the center never came back into full view but Erkamina had faith that she'd see that beloved center again, the end of her journey was nigh, she could feel it. She just had to keep going and never give up. Not that she would ever resort to such a weakling thing as surrender. She didn't even think she ever even used such a word, it was anti-Mist mentality to do so. This path felt like the ultimate symbol to her, a bunch of things in her way that she had to go around to prove herself and achieve her goal of revenge. She readied herself and turned again, seeing the center ahead of her again, this was it... She had to keep going, this was the path she had chosen, no turning back now! She saw the path turn again, away from the center. She mentally cursed but continued anyway, she had to, this was her way of ensuring that this path was either the right one or the wrong one.

There was a particular area that seemed to be the heart of all the commotion. It was the central arena and there was the destination... the place to be. Maria was quick her pace as she pushed through the crowd. She threw her shoulder forward to help make her way through. None of these people's opinion of her mattered so no need to be nice to them. The exams were starting soon and Maria would not be late. It seemed many other nations had already arrived and entered the arena. It had been a few hours sense Maria had arrived with her fellow Mist Village contestants. She had split from her group to enjoy the rather exotic liquors that the merchants were all ablaze about. She had found what she was looking for and after several drinks and swiping a flask of the stuff her she stood shoving through a crowd. After a few minutes of hearing people yell at her from behind and the occasional guy trying to grab hold of her she now stood at the end of a rather short line outside of the arena. many ninja stood in front of her but she could have cared less. She rested her hands on her hips before grinning and humming a tune. She stood in line for a few minutes and in this time she had gone form humming to bellowing her favorite tune. It was a song she had learned from her mother. "Oh when I come back from a mighty quest I have no need for sleep or rest, I head to the tavern for a drink and get so drunk I cannot think, a wench by my side and a jug of mead these are the things that I most need!" Her song only came to an end when she reached the door and a man dressed in a rather bland uniform handed her a ticket stub. She looked down at it with an annoyed grimace. "Number 20" She read to herself as she made her way into the building. It was actually only a singe room of the building as she entered and looked around. Several long tables rested in this room and many many shinobi sat at these tables. Maria need not find a seat, she walked along humming her tune and eying the opposing village shinobi. She recognized a few from the Hidden Mist but she also managed to gather an idea of what the other village symbols were. There were many shinobi, more than she could count all dressed in unique clothing and some argued and even displayed their abilities. Before long Maria heard a voice call out and ringing from this voice was her number. She gave a smirk and began to walk towards a door at the side. However, she was interrupted by a woman dressed in a special black uniform and wearing a strange white bird-like mask. "Please fallow me." She said in a somber tone. Maria gave a nod and moved behind the woman with a quick and confident pace. "Let's get started." Maria said aloud as she stood before the door. The woman opened the door and Maria turned to the expressionless mask and said, "Seeyuh after I win." followed by the sounds of her boots clapping against the stone floor. Her pace was very swift as she darted into the room. Once she actually stopped she looked around and noticed she was in a strange stone hallway where a periodic sheet of cloth was sealed to the top of the wall. She stopped for a moment and looked at these papers. They were clearly some sort of tag but Maria was completely oblivious as to what they meant or did. She knew she had to find her way out but she also knew she had to keep an eye out for traps and other contestants. She began to move slowly through the shadowy halls trying to make as little sound as she could but before long she grew bored. "Maybe a fight or trap would spice up this bland stroll." She smirked and started to run once again, it was a loud clacking noise every time her boot landed on the stone. Before long she came to a fork in the road. She could turn left or she could turn right. "Let's see... left leads north and right leads south. The shore is to the north, I prefer water over land." She turned and darted down the left path heading north. The path began to change, it was no longer just a stone path. Crowing form between the cracks in the stone and spacing between them was a small amount of grass and even a few spars signs of vegetation. With the new padding Maria's foot steps quickly muted. She moved quickly through the hall thanks to the protection of the grass. She could barely hear her own steps so she was pleased in thinking that no one else could hear her. Her pace quickened as she began to wind through the halls' twists and turns moving nearly randomly but always heading north. As she came around one of hundreds of turns something was different. Her foot collided with the now overgrown vegetation and quickly she realized there was nothing below it. Maria's eyes grew wide as her body quickly flew down towards the dark abyss that hid beneath this now plentiful plant life. She cursed under her breath as she readied her foot. With her foot that remained near the edge of the stone she used her great reflexes to kick off of that stone and sending he further down the hall but it was clear that it was not some simple pit fall but instead the hall possessed no floor. As her body flew over the ominous cavern her eyes flashed from side to side trying to find something to grab hold of. Her eyes quickly caught sight of a large protrusion from the wall that looked like a thick tree root. Her body flew through the air and she reached out to the root. She felt her fingers curl around the thick rough root as her body flung forward. She held tight to the thick wood as her body dangled over the shadow depths. She gave a grin as she began to pull herself up. Once she sat upon the root she began to look around, "Guess I should actually watch where I'm going." She said with a laugh. She reached to her side and pulled the flask from her belt. With a flick of her thumb the top popped off and she took a long drink of the hardy rum. A smile rested on Maria's lips as she wiped away the remaining liquid on them. Snap. The limb broke beneath her and Maria was sent plummeting once again down to the depths. "s**t!" She call out as she fell into the darkness. It did not take long for her eyes to adjust and see that this pit was the length of the hall way, the walls reached all the way to the bottom and sticking up from the bottom of the pit were four foot long spikes ready to pierce through any unfortunate enough to fall onto them. Maria quickly drew he cutlass and pushed off of the wall near her with it. She managed to send her body fallowing more towards the left and when close enough she pulled her knee to her stomach and with a powerful kick launched herself at an upward angle and to the opposite wall. As she reached the other wall she repeated this maneuver sending her leaping from wall to wall. She had managed to save her life and now she followed down the hall using this method. After about a minute of exhausting effort and countless leaps Maria lay on the ground on the other side of the cavern. "Safe..." She muttered to herself with a grin before placing her hand on the ground and hoisting herself up. She brushed off her pants and reached for her flask. As her hand rested on her belt she quickly realized she had lost her flask. She spun around looking down at the spikes at the bottom of the pit before looking up to the ceiling and all around her. "You bitches ow me a flask and some exotic rum..." Her brows curled down into a scowl as she marched along. "I'm growing tired of these tunnels. I miss the wind and the sun already." She placed her cutlass in its sheath once again and adjusted her hat. "When I win this I better get some sort of reward..." Maria was most certainly confident in herself and she would be appeased for her losses or she would give Sorain hell. "I will complete these, earn my place in the Mist Village, take what ever ship Mizukage will give me, gather all the treasure I can, then retrieve Emerald Weapon." Maria desperately wanted her Grandfather and Mother's ship so she too could sail upon the most legendary of ships. Maria's thoughts trailed off to the idea of all the treasure she would plunder and even the little treasure she had gathered before. She reached into her pocket and drew forth a small bag around the size of her palm. Within this bag was one of the finest cut emeralds she had ever seen. Maria had stolen it from an enemy pirate when she had seized their ship. It was an emerald that had been stolen off of the Emerald Weapon. Quote: Rolling to get farther in the labrinth: 190 vs 150, 54% GOT A 1! I'ma getting me a bawx X3 Getting through the traps was hard, hard work. With every line he cut, a needle flew through the air to stab him. Not only that, but it was surprisingly boring. You'd think having needles trying to kill you would get the heart racing, but in reality, the adreniline wears off after about ten of them. At this point, Hisaki was showing off, trying to get an ounce of excitement from the job. He'd slide the kunai behind the wire, and slowly push up until he heard a click. A wooshing noise would announce an incoming senbon needle, and Hisaki, with his extreme sense of sight, would dodge out of the way gracefully. Other times, he'd hit it out of the air. It wasn't until his twentieth one that Hisaki just said, "Screw this. I still count at least twenty more. Whoever set up this damn trap has no life." Hisaki slid his kunai into his pouch and clasped his hands together, building chakra in his chest. His hands began to move rapidly, forming the handseals for the Grand Fireball Jutsu. As he made the seals, he chanted, "Uma, Tora, Hitsuji, Saru, I, Uma, Tora! Grand Fireball Jutsu!" Hisaki spat out his cigarette and put a curled finger to his mouth. A huge ball of flames shot from his mouth and curled in a circle in front of him. With a sudden increase in flames, the fireball soared through the metal wire array and set off the rest of the traps. Hisaki coughed up some smoke, and said, "Why didn't I think of this in the first place?" He casually relaxed himself and lit another cigarette to replace the old one (it was at the bottom anyways). After getting the cigarette ignited, Hisaki walked down the hallway to his next challenge. ((128 Lines))
