Awi's eyes went wide as she watched him splash into the water, soon giving voice to her amusement with the sound of soft laughter. Well, if he was going to just jump right in than there wasn't any reason why she couldn't as well, right? Right.
She splashed lightly around at the edge of the water, trying to get the bits of blue paint off of her forelegs. She hadn't really seen it anywhere else, but maybe she could get him to help her check... Once he'd taken care of his face she thought, grinning as she glanced up to see him still batting water around. "If you come back over here I can help you get the spots you missed."

It took a little bit for Tawa to process she had said something, because he was busy furiously trying to clean his head. But soon enough he sat up and turned to face her. Ooh, right, that could be good. "Okay! " He said, now more loudly since he was getting more comfortable, and scurried over.
... She had a blue dot on her forehead. "Ummm..." Not quite sure what to say, he raised a paw to his own forehead.

Her brow furrowed slightly at his display, trying to figure out what he meant. Sure, he had paint on his forehead, but... Pausing, she glanced down at the water, waiting for it to stop rippling from their movement so that she could see her reflection.
"Oh." She laughed as she brought the back of her paw up, rubbing at her face as best she could before glancing up at him. "Better?" Not really waiting for a response, she brought her paw up again, lightly brushing a smudge of white away from his cheek. "At least the white matches you a little..."

He smiled once she understood his meaning, and nodded. He might say something, but was quickly distracted as she suddenly wiped off his cheek. "Oh! Uh, yeah. At least that. " He smiled slightly.
"But I'm not sure what it would mean. " What would Skan say? His borther, walking around with some horrible white blotch on his face. That thought had Tawa dunk his head back in the water and try to wipe a bit better. "Do I have any more? "

"I think it would mean... That you have a playful streak. Or you're clumsy. Or creative... It could mean a dozen different things, really, but the only thing that would matter about what it could mean would be the lion beneath it." She smiled brightly as she glanced up at him before suddenly becoming a little bit sheepish.
"I mean, I'm sure whatever connected to it could explain it as well, but..." Awi paused again, trying not to make a face at her reflection before directing her eyes to the lion once more. "No, I think you got the last of it."

Tawa smiled. "I like creative. Makes me sound cool. " Yes, everyone loved someone that was creative! The yellow male was pretty sure he'd never heard someone call another creative in a bad way. Clumsy, however, could be a little unpleasant!
"I liked blue on you, too. I think it goes good with brown. " He mused. If it was in the right shade, anyways. He nodded at the confirmation that he had no more paint and then remembered the rest of the paint.
"Uuh.. I have all that paint lying back there. " Maybe he should get rid of that before anyone tripped on it or anything.
