Just as he managed to dodge the horns, he decided if the Kalona wasnt going to play fair he might as well not either. His wings flared as he reared up, aiming both powerful hooves at the kalona's face, ears pinned as he took his first aggressive strike to any living thing in his entire life.

As his attack missed, and the other stallion reared up to take his attack, Disillusion quickly dodged to the side. If he was going to take any of this attack, it would not be to the face..

Just as Req reared up to strike, Disillusion took aim at his exposed underbelly, a snarl thundered in his chest as his horns took aim at the stallions belly.

Requiem didnt even think about how it would expose his underside so easily. It was only when he saw the other stallion lower his head that he winced mentally, he prayed to any gods that might exist that he landed or turned in just enough time to prevent any damage.

The blow was hard and it knocked Requiem almost completely over. His belly was easily torn into and his breath was knocked completely out of his lungs. The massive angeni stammered back, trying to get his footing. He coughed, a bit of blood stained his lips and he took a deep breath. He spun quickly, trying to catch the horns or head again of the kalona, but this time with his back hooves.

Blood from the inflected wound drizzled down Disillusion's muzzle, he let out a grin of pleasure, if only his love could see him now he thought.
Caught off guard by the sudden thoughts of a certain mare, he didnt notice the other stallion, quickly trying to recover, Disillusion moved..

He wasn't quick enough,the back hooves of the angeni connected with Disillusion's jaw, he could hear the bones pop and crack as a snarl echoed forth.
Rearing back to lessen the blow, he drove his hoves wildly, hoping to catch the other stallion in the side, and take him down once and for all...

He was pleased he seemed to be doing some damage. Well, not entirely pleased, but he hoped maybe the kalona would realize he wasnt a push over and finally stop. He was starting to pant heavily, he wasnt really the exercising type, nor did he make a habit of ever getting into fights, so this was wearing on him a bit.
Seeing Dis start to rear up from the blow, he tried to shift as to not get taken down by the angered kalona.

Barely dodging the flurry of hooves, Requiem decided to take his chance as quickly as possible, he wrapped around, aiming for the stallions back legs as he was reared up, seeing if he couldnt get a good bite in to knock him over.

The other stallion was barely spared his hoof attack, as Disillusion landed with a thud in time to notice the other stallion going for his hind legs..

As Req's teeth missed his backlegs, he was still unhappy to be able to feel the breath of the stallion on his coat. His tail lashed out at Req's face, hoping to blind the stallion for the moment..

Requiem shuddered at how close he felt Dis' hooves come to his body, he was more trying to survive now he realized, rather than anything else. Most of his moves were just trying to knock the other down, his thoughts were interrupted tho when he saw the sharp spade head toward his face.

Easily able to move from the spade, Requiem lifted his head up quickly as Dis lowered down from his reared up position. Using that moment he lifted his head, hoping to wind the kalona, hoping he didnt actually hurt himself in the process.

A low growl uttered out from Disillusion as he eyed the angeni, he flicked his tail out behind him, snapping it back and forth. He wasn't sure what Req was up to, but he wasnt about to stop.
