Kyo turned to see the cero hurdling towards him, and there wasnt enough time to dodge it. He wasnt even sure he could block it. He was quite surprised when Orsumil jumped in front of him and used his zanpakuto to redirect the cero back at the hollow.
"Thanks." he said to Orsumil. If they managed to survive this, he would have to find away to pay him back for saving his life.

"Sting and Blaze, Kaosu Sasori!" Kasen chanted as he awakened his zanpakuto's shikai form as it transformed into its duel blade form as he chanted once more. "Separate the darkness and the fire." Kasen released his zanpakuto as the blades became two individual zanpakuto blades as Kasen held his blades out as his left sword glowed of purple and black while his right blade glowed crimson red and burning orange as the powers of fire and darkness were now in his hands. However, the reishi around his blades became distorted as they became arrows, in quantities of four for each blade as they followed the zanpakuto blades.
He looked at Devora with dark eyes as he hated annoying creatures who always believed they were strong. Slashed his dark blade upward, Kaosu released two darkness arrows as they sought out Devora the adjuchas as Kasen looked at it. "Hollows belong in Hueco Mundo, otherwise we'll just come and kill you..." Kasen muttered as he slashed horizontally with his fire zanpakuto to release another two arrows as they followed their dark counterparts to attack the adjuchas. "Kyo, don't just sit there, your zanpakuto is always there to help you when you need it, use it!" Kasen shouted as Kyo was his squad member, and he had to make sure he was fine and okay.

Learon: the Lancer (Adjuchas)
Learon roared in disappointment as the claws it had used to attack met the circular shield of one of the little Shinigami. However, it was unable to determine which was the caster, as none of them appeared to be holding a shield up. The person soon revealed himself, though, when a whistling sound in its ear signified an attack coming through the air. Whipping around, the Adjuchas caught sight of five balls of what appeared to be fast-moving air currents, shooting towards it. The grin on its mask widened.
Five, claws from its free hand were raised. In a second, five, deadly and pointed lances - each ten metres long- were fired towards the spheres of air, piercing each through the middle and disrupting the air flow within them. While the spheres dissipated, the lances carried on in their deadly route, all aimed for the Shinigami who had cast the Gale Song - Zaine.
Distracted, Learon turned his head back towards the group of Shinigami no longer being shielded by the Enkosen. To its surprise, one had leapt up to point his blades at his arms. With another roar, the hollow jerked his arm out of the way just in time, before firing one lance from its claw to impale the Shinigami to the ground. At the same time, another Shinigami, shouting something indecipherable like: "Spin, spin, spin!" threw a ring towards its mask.
"Little Shinigami... do you think you can beat me with that?" it mocked. Another lance, this time fired upwards, carried the golden ring up into the sky and away from the Adjuchas. Now, with no pesky attacks coming at it from every angle, Learon fired row after row of lances at the Shinigami, each with perfect accuracy. The length of the lances ranged from two to ten metres, the faster ones being the shortest.
"Taste my power, Shinigami! As long as you're in my line of vision..." as it spoke, it leered at the group "... you'll never escape!"

Kyo dodged the lances as they came at him. "Now Scream and Strike Raitenshou!" he cried as he released his zanpakuto's shikai. He pointed his left sword straight up into the air and the right at Learon, Lightning shot down from the sky and struck his sword(left) before moving through his body and becoming stronger due to his zanpaukto's nature as it fired out of his sword(right) at Learon

"So you aren't as dumb as ya look." Zaine commented with a grin as the lances pierced the Gale Song and continued on to him, dancing back he evaded the projectiles with ease, his expression staying quite jovial despite the danger he was facing. After the monster had fired the lance that sent Orsumil's ring into the sky Zaine's expression became a bit more serious as it began to attack the line of shinigami with it's lances, "Dammit!" he swore, pointing his right hand at the lances he exclaimed, "Hado #32 Okasen!" From his palm burst a wide arc of golden energy that cut through the projectiles and destroyed the ones that hit it after the initial strike, he then continued with his spells, "Bakudo #26 Kyokko!" he made himself invisible and undetectable to the enemy, the kido effectively making it as if he had never been there in the first place. "Dammit, don't just stand in a group right in front of him! Spread out or get back some so he can't easily take you all out!" Zaine snapped to the group of shinigami.
"Ugly b*****d, so if you can see us then you think you will defeat us? Well then thanks for the tip." he exclaimed harshly, raising his right hand he chanted "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hado #31 Shakkaho!" he was going to use the full power of this spell so he had decided to chant the lengthy spell and give it its full effect, suddenly the giant Adjuchas would see a red orb form in front of its face briefly before being launched, at this distance and the fact it was a surprise attack it would be difficult for the hollow to evade the full damage of this attack.

~"Devora, the Controlled Catastrophe."~ (Adujchas level Hollow) This was certainly a problem....this Shinigami had figured out a way to fire his own attacks back at him, much like he could do to them. "Fools." the Adujchas merely chuckled as he leaped to his right, narrowly evading the Cero. In fact, the attack had missed him so narrowly that his left arm had been singed while dodging; these cocky little brats had managed to hit him. Now, however, wasn't the time to dwell on that; Devora now had two pairs of darkness arrows soaring at him. The captain class Hollow opened his mouth, and absorbed both sets of arrows before leaping into the air, landing on Learon's shoulder. Since the two had cooperated in attacking this town, Devora's counterpart would immediately be able to tell who had landed on his shoulder. The Adujchas raised his left palm, and fired all four arrows straight at Zaine; he'd given his position away with the Shakkaho, which allowed Devora to attack him, even though he was invisible. An attack like Shakkaho could only come from a Shinigami.
Now that the first part of his attention span was taken care of, Devora then turned his attention to the group of Shinigami fretting below, specifically the Shinigami that had fired the lightning at Learon; Kyo. The attack was moving full speed toward his partner, and it gave Devora barely any time to react. He charged the familiar green Cero in his mouth, and fired it straight at the bolt of lightning. The Cero was more powerful, and obliterated the lightning attack without stopping, heading straight toward Kyo. The collision between the two attacks had, however, weakened the Cero in power, but not speed. If Kyo could send off another lightning attack in time, he could most likely destroy the Cero, and send a weakened version of the attack back at Learon. Now, Devora moved at high speed from Learon's shoulder to the ground, where he lifted one of the smallest spears that the larger Hollow had fired; the Adujchas now had a six foot lance to fight his foes with.

Kasen threw his remaining arrows to counter his own, as much as it would enjoy letting his arrows beat Zaine, however this wasn't a fight between them and he had to make sure Zaine would be okay enough to fight at the moment. "So, this hollow can devour our attacks and reflect them back at us..." Kasen thought to himself as he watched the hollow fire a cero at Kyo as he tried to let Kyo take care of that as Kasen ran out at Devora as he stabbed the hilts of his zanpakuto back together as they became one as he needed their spear-like dual blade form for a moment. Taking a playing card out which was the Jack of Clubs, Kasen grinned as he needed to get closer to the hollow now that he had a weapon which was always bad.
"Can't use anything your own, can you, hollow?" Kasen shouted at Devora as he jumped upwards at the hollow, however he threw the card up and slashed at it to create a dark fog as his stored reishi within the card would react into reiatsu as the fog consumed both Kasen and the hollow as all five senses began shutting down for any spiritual being. Sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touching would be impossible for anyone in the fog as it couldn't be easily slashed away for it wasn't normal fog, it was Kasen's own reiatsu released in this form making it impossible to sense anyone's spiritual pressure but his own, however the entire fog was his presence as his individual body was hidden as well. Kasen used this since the hollow cannot absorb something nonphysical such as this, however he hoped this was right.

((So um, where are the insignificant Hollow which small-fries like William can beat up on without getting killed outright by the Captain class Hollow?))
William hid patiently in the bushes while he watched the battles above and in front of him. He absorbed everything he found out, hoping to use it against his opponents or at least inform someone who could handle them. "Wasn't the Captain supposed to come as well? Where is she? And if they knew there were going to be two enemies of this level of power coming, why in the world did they send us when they should have come?" Not only did he carefully watch his enemies, but his allies were also under inspection. "It would seem that both that Hollow, and that Shinigami have a very similar fighting style. I think I'll dub it 'ultimate reflection' for now. It could be very useful indeed if used right. If I see the Captain, then I'll be sure to inform her of the situation and their powers." With a careful eye he watched every combatant that he could while concealing his presence at a safe distance. He may not have been invisible like Zaine was, but he most certainly was out of sight. Not only that, but his level of Reiatsu was so low compared to those around him that he was spiritually insignificant and practically invisible as well. "If only we had trained for Shikai before this battle, eh Hantoresu?" he asked his Zanpakuto who he knew was also following the battle carefully. She did not respond to him, for she was far too concerned with the higher-ups bashing skulls.
((Before anyone else points it out, please note that my character has found out the "false" name of his Zanpakuto. As such, he does not have Shikai yet. It's just an RP tool.))

Takeru became wide eyed, as soon as he realized he missed he pulled his blades back in front of him. He made them like an X to block Learon's attack. But the Adjuchas was too powerful, he may not have gotten a direct hit from the claw but he was slamed to the ground by the force of the attack. Takeru rolled as soon as his back hit the ground, he was on one knee trying to recover the wind that was knock out of him. "Not bad, for a big guy he is pretty fast." His body began shaking, but he was not shaking out of fear nor anger. Takeru was laughing, he got back to his feet at look at the Adjuchas Learon. "I may be weak, I may not stand a chance against either of you. But I'm not backing down, I will fight to my last breath to protect this town." His eyes began to glow purple as he tightened his grip on his dual zanpaktou. "I'll do all I can to protect my comrades and assist them, even if it costs me my life!" Takeru unsheathed the third zanpaktou from his back and placed it in his mouth. He ran toward Learon at full speed, he jumped into the air and slashed at his chest with the zanpaktou in his right hand and attempted to cut his head off with the zanpaktou in his mouth. He kept the zanpaktou in his left hand back to defend.

"Woah sorry I'm late guys!" Maikeru scratched the back of his head in a comical pose while squating in a tree above William.
He looked down,"Come on man! Lets have some fun!"
Maikeru leapt off the branch speeding through the air towards the combat. Only a few yards up and away from his previous perch Vin made a comment. You want a chance to tear into some hollows? Ehh, alright.
"Kiri Ni gōben kaisha, Vin!" He said with excitement, this would be his first time fighting hollows with his Shikai, he wondered how it would work, he'd always thought it seemed to work better against fellow shinigami and all, seeing as how they carried metal with them all the time.
Mist quickly exploded outwards and was just as quickly sucked into the blade. Blue lines exploded into Maikeru's vision designating sources of metal throughout the city. Maikeru's blade shortened and changed color as daggers sprang inton existence and revolved around the hand gripping Vin.
Maikeru smiled ecstatically. This was gonna be fun!
Maikeru happened to be directly above Takeru as he slashed at the Adjuchas. He was suspending himself above the ground using a manhole cover, a fire escape staircase, and a nickle someone had left outside their window for some reason.
Using these anchors to brace himself he Pushed down on Takeru's swords, adding much greater speed and force to the slashes right before they would connect, the arubt increase in velocity should at least surprise the adjuchas.

Learon: the Lancer (Adjuchas)
The first thing Learon became aware of after its bombardment of projectiles was a Shinigami (Kyo) who, having dodged all the spears sent in his direction, had somehow summoned a huge bolt of lightening from the sky. At first, it thought that the lightening was going to hit the Shinigami; however, the electricity somehow passed through his body and out the other sword - which incidentally, was pointed directly at the hollow's chest.
With a snarl, it fired a row of lances into the ground in front of it, which acted as a shield and absorbed the lightening. It then retaliated by jabbing its right claw at the unfortunate Shinigami.
Without warning, a large sphere of red energy - obviously a Kido - came soaring through the air at its mask. Taken by surprise but not letting its guard down, Learon opened its jaws and fired a powerful cero, which beamed down, nullifying the Kido and continued towards the group of Shinigami running below. However, in the process of doing this, it felt something hit its chest - looking down furiously, it spied another Shinigami (Takeru) who had launched himself at it. His sword had barely nicked the Adjuchas's tough skin, but it was annoying enough to send Learon howling in a fit of rage. It reached down and swatted the Shinigami away, at the same time glimpsing a shadow forming above him.
"Hehehe... You just don't know when to give up, eh, little Shinigami?"
Pointing a single claw up, it fired a row of lances towards Maikeru. However, the Shinigami's descent suddenly sped up. No matter. Suddenly, its hand was grasping at the Shinigami, attempting to catch him and crush his body with its own claws.

Takeru was able to put a scratch on the Adjuchas, but it barely phased him. Takeru was swated away, when he hit the ground he did a flip to get back to his feet. He was a little off balanced and out of ideas, the only thing that might get to them is Bakudou. Takeru pointed the palm of his hand at Learon and chanted, "Bakudou Four, Hainawa." A yellow rope of reiatsu shot out of Takeru's hand and attempted to bind Learon's arms.

Maikeru frowned slightly when the swords barely scratched it's skin...ahhh Hierro! that was why! He blinked in surprise when he saw the claw zooming towards him. Really. The hollow saw him floating above the ground with no effort, not standing, floating, and it thought it could hit him like someone swatted a fly? Well it was correct in that assumption.
Maikeru Pulled on a lampost behind him, and Pushed on another manhole cover, taking himself out of the Hollow's reach for a moment. Annoying... Maikeru tossed several razor sharp coins in front of himself and Pushed, forcing them to rocket at the Hollow at close to bullet speeds, they wouldn't be enough to kill him nearly, but they should puncture the skin and help guage its resistance to being cut or punctured.

William had been carefully watching the fighting from below in his hiding spot and ignored Maikeru's words. These things were unreal to say the least; then again, he had only been with the Shinigami for a few months. He had learned quite a lot in those months, choosing to study exactly what an Adjuchas and Hollow were along with their possible powers. From his studies in the archives, he knew he wouldn't be able to do anything against the behemoth, but this was absolutely ridiculous. "Instant Cero, super reaction speeds versus pointblank shots, infinite weapons and not even a scratch because of his Hiero....this is ludicrous for people of our level." His mind thought quickly of what he could attempt, but nothing he thought of would work. Then an idea hit him. "It's a long shot, but it should work...unless of course the big thing has eyes in the back of his head."
He looked for the closest building to the Shinigami with the golden blades and entered, quickly ascending the stairs three by three. He had not yet mastered Hoho due to lack of time for practice and therefore still needed to use ground methods. He had at least improved his endurance and to an extent his speed, for he was up and on the roof of the building within seconds. “Hey! Hey you Shinigami with the disks! Get down here I need to tell you something!” He waved his arms around to try and get his attention ((Orsumil)). No doubt he had also gotten the attention of the two Hollow, but they likely wouldn’t even bother with him; they could fling a fingernail at him and kill him, so what was the point of wasting energy on a bug like him? He patiently waited for the Shinigami he had called while waving his arms. As soon as the Shinigami looked over, he would signal for him to come to William.
((Can't do much else unless smaller Hollow appear. Am I allowed to say that a few of them appear and kick them in the butt?))
