Threadfighting suggestion: Queen's Wing. As seen in the books, it's a chance for queens (and breeding crimsons), pregnant women, sometimes injured riders who aren't up to full fighting strength and and possibly white dragons to join in the Fall, with minimal risk to themselves and their dragons. Dragons who can flame would do so as normal, breeding females would be issued a flamethrower or agenothree sprayer for the duration of the Fall. Since the Queen's Wing flies the lowest level of a Fall, dragons flying with the Queen's Wing would have less chance of being hit by Thread and would take less damage, but would also burn less. One way to implement that could be that they roll a smaller die for burning, hit chance and damage, such as roll 2d6 in the burn post, do the damage on the first die and get hit on a 1-2 in the second die. Useful for queens or breeding crimsons who want to attain ranks (especially among the Revolutionists) that have a Threadfighting requirement.
Thanks for the suggestion! =D
Implementing thread fighting for breeding dragons/others in the queen wing is something I've been pondering for a while, I'll talk it over with Skie ASAP to sort something out. As you say so far as I can tell there is minimal chance of them getting hit down there - they wouldn't want any real risk to their golds! - and as they (generally) have flamethrowers even if they were getting the same amount of Thread around them there's no way they would be able to do as much damage as a flaming dragon.
Would love to see this implemented! =D Vos would definitely be gearing for this!
