Seth lay back on his new mattress, it was certainly a step up from his old place, the same could be said for his whole apartment. Because, really ,you could get some really nice furniture when people forgot you didn’t pay for them. The apartment itself was small, rather grubby but it’d do for just himself and Edith. But ,with vague recollections of his childhood back Seth’s rich taste must have come back, since a lot of the furniture that inhabited the space looked they’d fit right in on any given set on ‘Frasier’ .
Edith stirred from her sleep. It’d been a long one.
“Seth...?”
“Yeah?”
“I might have misheard something but...your, like, a god now?”
“Basically”
There was a pause.
“Wow, my boyfriends a god”
And another.
Followed by Edith scotching closer, wrapping her arms round him and planting a kiss on his lips.
“Seth, God of Sleep, it has a nice ring to it” Edith continue cuddling him, Seth was still finding his somewhat awkward.
“...maybe someday I could be a goddess...we could be gods of sleep and...and love...Seth God of Sleep and Edith Goddess of Love, we'd make a great couple" She giggled, eyes closing before drifting off to sleep again.
“I guess I can put in a good word for you”

The sleepy haze that kept people from ever remembering Seth’s apartment was there crept its way along the neighbouring doors. It was cruel to give the whole amnesia, but, ultimately, it’d be better this way, much safer for the mortals if they were out of the way. It’d given Seth the space to restore his old operations, have his followers smoke in the other rooms and keep his apartment for Edith and himself.
It’d be easy, the forgetful cloud that hung over the floor soon made everyone become unsure if the whole floor ever existed. Save for his followers.

Being ascended is overrated.Seth visits Writs to tell him to try and keep his head down, though Writ gives Seth the inclination to cause some trouble himself.
