SethosKarawan ~ Sethos was conscious of the quick weather change, and also stopped playing the piano. He turned to the window behind him, staring out at the sky, suspicious of it's movements. Something was wrong. What was causing it to commit various changes in the space of a heartbeat? Any answer to that would have to wait, as he turned back to reply to her unpredictable reply. A demon she said she was. Sethos frowned. He leaned in real close, so that their noses were almost touching, and sniffed the air surrounding her. Now with what she told him, he could tell a slight difference in the fragrance she held. It was masked as human smell, but something was off... she wasn't human at all...
He leaned back and gaped at her. His eyes flickered to every spot on her, observing every detail in a new light. She was demon. S**t, she's a demon!
Sethos abruptly stood up and walked away with his fists clenched. He wasn't looking at her. His eyes were cast downward, making his fringe cover them. His mood grew dark and distant. She was a demon. He wasn't on good terms with those kind, and he had no intention of ever being on their good terms. He despised them.
"How unfortunate..." he said glumly before casting his eyes skyward. He sighed disappointedly, yet at the same time, that one sigh held so much distaste. "...I thought we could've really hit it off."

Autumn wasn't surprised at all. Although, even if her face showed no expression, her heart seemed to feel a sharp pain. Just like that of lightning. Surprisingly, outside the weather changed once again, causing little dribblets of water pour down from the clouds, as lightning seem to struck. The rain continued, and it seemed to show as if her heart was aching, crying.. afterall.. she did read his mind. "I'm not surprised.. Well, if you really dislike what i am, then you best be on your way?" She muttered, and without hearing anything else, she began to play another piece on the piano.

SethosKarawan ~ He stood still for what felt like hours as he stilled himself to process what had just happened, and who she was. Her words were like a jab to the heart, and the weathe portrayed his feelings perfectly. Yes, they changed rapidly again, but with a sort of ache errupting in his chest, he couldn't focus on the suspicious transition happening outside. He stayed long enough to hear the crying notes she was now playing, before finally pulling out the will to exist the room...
But he could go no further than the door as it shut behind him. He leaned against it, now outside in the deserted hallway, but his legs refused to move him back to his - their -dorm. Or even to the office to request for a change.A demon... She's a demon... Like him... A demon, like he is... Sethos' face scrunched up into a moment of complete grief as he recollected those memories. He found himself sitting on the floor, his back to the closed door. He put his head back against it, not knowing what to do.
He could hear the notes she was playing faintly inside. Those notes were still so gentle, but now held a hand of sorrow. He closed his eyes and listened, without her knowing he was. Sethos doesn't even know her. They had only just met... and yet... he felt like something was missing. He's never felt like this - feeling lonely when he ran from company. But that was before she came. And now it feels different.
Listening silently with the song, Sethos found himself reflexively adding to the music, creating an illusion to her and his ears that he was playing the same piece also. He just wasn't beside her...

Autumn kept her face emotionless, but somehow she really wanted to cry. She couldn't though. Everything reminded her of what happened to her family.. losing them all and being thrown out like garbage. Although she just met him, the pain in her heart only seemed to increase, but she kept her cool and continued playing her sorrowful notes. She could hear sethos playing the same piece as her, only to slowly stop playing the piece when she felt the presence of something strange. Before she was even capable of getting up and looking around, she was slapped by something enormous, and was smashed against the wall. She winced in pain, revealing a cut on her arm. I could've dodged that... why didn't i move quick enough..? The weather outside changed again, lightning striking, trying to aim at the enormous beast.

SethosKarawan ~ Sethos suddenly stopped too, instantly feeling the air change. Someone - no, something - else was inside that room with her. He frowned, trying to discern if it was friend or foe, but when he heard a thud he shot up from his sitting position and burst through the door, panic coursing through his veins.
"Autumn!"
Sethos stopped and found himself face to face with the horrible beast unexpectedly present. A monster from hell it felt and smelt like. Suddenly a lightning bolt erupted, causing the beast to stumble and roar in pain. It went to strike Autumn again, who was supporting a slashed arm. Sethos smelt the blood pulsing underneathe, and up out unto the surface of the wound. As part demon, he felt the sudden need to see more. To see the death of a bloodied corpse...
But he knew that was a side of him he firmly locked away. No way was he going to unleash it now - not when something else needed to be focused on... "Oi! Ugly-butt! Over here!" he shouted and threw a chair at it. Sethos tried to distract it from Autumn, finding himself wanting to protect her no matter what. He flourished his hands out wide and cast an illusion of pain to stab through every atom and every cell the monster supported. It caused it to roar and wince as it was put through torture like no other. "Get out of here! We need to go! Now!"

Autumn blinked when she heard her name and quickly dodged the beast's attack. She placed her hand softly on her arm, and then ripped a part of her shirt, wrapping it over her wound. She looked over at the beast and then at Sethos. "I.. I can't run away.. If i do, this beast will just keep on following us.. So i can't. Sorry" With that, she faced her attention back at the beast, and with full speed, she ran up, jumped and kicked the beast right in the eye. The beast winced in pain and growled angrily, walking back a few steps. Once she landed on the ground, she sort of wobbled and placed her hands on the floor. I don't want to use this but i have to.. Sorry alex. Closing her eyes, she focused all her powers.. on the ground. First it shook, then the floor began to open like a underground passageway, letting the beast tumble and fall. She winced a little bit, having put so much power into it, that she was wobbling. She slowly looked over at Sethos, and having a blurry vision, she shook her head and took her hands off the ground, realising how much of a mess she made.

SethosKarawan ~ Sethos was about to shout for her to get out again, until she leaped up and kicked the monster square in the eye. This surprise caught him off guard and he had accidentally released the torture from the beast. He watched in wonder as Autumn then placed her palms onto the floor and closed her eyes. He stared in shock as the ground began to shook... But Sethos still stood without a hint of a stumble. He made sure that his little area seemed like it wasn't being inflicted with any kind of earthquake. So, he looked upon the scene without any hassles as the floor suddenly cracked apart right underneathe the horrid beast. It fell right through it, screaming a horrible croaky scream. Sethos buzzed the noise away from his ears with his powers and ran over to Autumn when the deed was practically done.
Noticing her dizzy condition, he reached out a comforting arm and held her against his shoulder, making sure she wasn't to fall so suddenly. He then supported her over to a chair where he made her sit down to get back her senses. Sethos stood straight again and surveyed the room. What a mess... however he shrugged all the same and turned back to the demon girl. "Don't worry about the destruction," he began to say as if reading her thoughts, "what are cleaners for but to clean up an after mess anyway?" Sethos smiled kindly, patting her head.
"That... that was some show, little demon." he added, but dropped his smile at the pet name. He sighed, suddenly in front of his previous dilema, before this beast was here. No matter what, she's still a demon...

Autumn panted a little bit. When Sethos helped her go over to the chair and let her sit down, she looked at him, blinking a little. "That's true.." She muttered, and then looked at her arm. The wound wasn't getting any better, but she ignored it. "W-Why did you try to save me? You could've just let it kill me.." She didn't look at him, she only stared at the floor, spacing out. "If you hate us demons.. then why?"She looked up at him, looking right into his eyes.

SethosKarawan ~ He knew the question was coming. But he still wasn't prepared for it. Sethos didn't know what to tell her. He wandered what she'd think. But before he replied, he eyes the wound upon her arm again and couldn't think of anything else. "We need to get you to a nurse."
He didn't know why he was doing this, but he picked her up and headed out the door. She was right in asking; if he hated them so much, why is he doing what he's doing? He didn't quite have an answer for himself, just that he wanted to help her no matter what. She seemed so lost, with such a mask she puts up, he couldn't help but not leave her. Yet that fact that she's a demon keep running through his mind. He clenched his jaw and walked down the hallway toward the nearest infirmary, his hands still around her, holding her, knowing that she could faint at any moment too.

Autumn blinked when he picked her up and looked at him. Somehow, even if she didn't want him near her either, she still wanted him to be beside her. Why does he care so much about me.. if he hates what i am? She looked away from him and stared at the ground. "As much as you say you hate us... " She first hesitated on finishing what she said, but with all her might, she managed to tell him. "... My family.. they too, seemed to hate me... So.. i understand.." She muttered slowly, a little sharp pain strike through her heart, having to say this to him. She wanted him to know, even if it hurt her so much to remember it. Lightning struck at the ground outside, and the rain seemed to continue. Pouring and pouring, as if it wouldn't stop.

SethosKarawan ~ Sethos gradually came to a stop, coincidentally in an empty corridor. He looked at her, aware of the sudden flash of rain outside. Her words. They seem... familiar... "..like mine.." he breathed out without thinking. "Er, I mean... I understand," Sethos blurted out when he realised he had just spoken his thoughts. A little heat rose to his cheeks and couldn't help but smile sheepishly - especially when he noticed how close he held her...
Sethos sighed and looked away again. "What I mean to say is, I don't hate you... but I can never... never... associate myself with another..." he shivered and bit his lip, before he continued - " ...a demon. I mean he was a demon! They were demons! What they did... what he did... I just... I just can't forgive."

Autumn looked up at him, and she understood what he meant. But then again, she didn't understand why her heart hurt when he said he didn't want to associate himself with another demon. She wasn't like most, and she would never try to be like most of them anyway. "But.. i'm not like them. I was abadoned because.. I wasn't like them. They didn't like me because i was different. They hated me because I would not kill.. like they would." Without realising it, she ended up embracing him, even though her arm was wounded, she wanted to hug him. "You can't just judge me because i'm a demon.. you need to know.. i'll never be like them" She muttered, not letting go. She didn't want him to be like this. She slowly did want to open up to him, and she was. Slowly.
