Well... Considering summer can get to about 45 degrees Celsius, many people consider 4-7c cold. Though it has gone below that and some people complain when it is about 17 or so..

Man, I consider 4-7c WARM! Like, out in short sleeves and shorts warm.

I have actually never heard anyone seriously use things like "Crikey" in normal conversation... Mate, a bit, but not too often...

Perhaps you're just so used to it that you don't notice. I met this elderly Canadian guy once and he kept adding 'eh?' to the ends of his questions and I asked him if it was only a specific part of Canada that said 'eh' (because I was told it's only the eastern side) and he had no idea he had been saying 'eh?'.
