Tilting her head towards the vent as she ran, Sodu gave a mischievous smile. "Then let's go!" She laughed as her paws beat against the flooring as she climbed to the attic. The room was rather clean but still dusty and it was obvious that the room wasn't entered as often as the rooms below. Walking around the room Sodu sniffed the walls and looked for the duct that Snookie had mentioned earlier. She called over to Snookie, "Where's the duct?"

Snookie ran up the stairs, just after Sodu. "I'm not exactly sure. I've only been up here a couple of times. I think it's somewhere over here." Snookie said as she started sniffing around to the left of where they were standing.

"Let's search for it then. Do you have a general...." Sodu was looking around and she paused as her eyes gazed upon a square hole in the side of the wall. "I found it! Haha, I knew I'd find it!"
She laughed as she jumped towards the hole and hopped in the ventilation shaft. "Let's go to the roof now! Come on, don't slow me down now!" Giggles echoed as she went farther into the shaft and disappeared from sight in the darkness. "Hurry up! You're not chicken are yah?"

Snookie chuckled when Sodu found what they were looking for. At first she wasn't too sure about going into the ventilation shaft, but because she disliked being teased, she jumped in and followed her new friend. "I'm not a chicken." Snookie said as the sound of their claws tapping against the aluminum shaft, echoed slightly off the walls.
Meanwhile Krystal went about re-potting flowers and such, not knowing that the puppies were headed for more trouble.

"HELP!" Sodu's voice screeched against the cold metal of the vent. Sounds of claws repetitively scratching against the metal added to her panicked voice. "Snookie, hurry!"
Where Sodu was in the vent had no side windows to allow in light. She had rushed in too quickly and she had fallen down a shaft that led back down the first floor. From below came frequent thumps of air that came from a high speed fan. "Snookie!"

When Snookie heard Sodu's panicked voice she rushed further into the vent, until she couldn't see anything in the sudden inky blackness. "Sodu, where are you ?" Snookie asked before she started sniffing around for Sodu.
As she sniffed around, she found the downward slope at the edge of part of the duct and had almost slipped and fell. Fortunately she managed to catch herself before she fell. "Where are you ?" Snookie said again, worried.
((May or may not be on for the next 3 or 4 days. My dad's coming home for a visit from his trucking job and stuff.))

"I'm right over here!" Sodu shouted in the direction of Snookie's voice. "I can't get up! Where are you? I can't see you at all!" Sodu wished that Mint was there to rescue her. Sodu felt the beat from the fan press against her back.
"Please help me I can't get up!" Sodu's eyes began to tear as she scratched at the metal once again in attempts to climb up. Snookie's voice was close and Sodu scratched at the metal at a faster pace. She slowly climbed up a few centimeters before hitting a soft mound of flesh—Snookie's paw! Sodu slipped back once again and tightened her grip on the metal so she wouldn't fall further into the shaft. "Snookie help!"

Snookie started to follow Sodu's voice to where it was coming from. Unfortunately where she couldn't see anything she had no idea where the other puppy was.
"I can't see you either !! Snookie said just before she felt something hit her paw. It took her a moment to realize that the thing that had bumped her paw was Sodu. Snookie quickly found Sodu and gently grabbed the scruff of her neck before she started to carefully pull Sodu out of the shaft.

"Hurry Snookie before I fall again!" Sodu whimpered as she was pulled out. Her nails scratched frequently against the aluminum metal as she climbed out. Her breath was harsh as she collapsed on the sturdy floor. Her eyes shut tight Sodu's voice was filled with a tone of appreciation as she spoke: "Oh, thank you!"

"You're welcome Sodu." Snookie said, panting slightly. "We should get out of here before something else happens and one of us gets hurt." Snookie had never been a very adventurous pup, but today had been one heck of an adventure.

"What? But we haven't gone to the roof yet!" Sodu jumped up and turned to to the direction of Snookie's voice. "We are already this far, why stop now? We'll just be more careful now!"
Not even an hour has passed since Mint has left, and Sodu wasn't willing to go back down to boredom again. If she was stuck in the flower shop until Mint came back, Sodu planned to make the best of her situation!

"I know, it's just I don't want to get in trouble or get hurt." Snookie said. She was definitely the "lap dog" kind of pup. She was perfectly content laying around, even though she occasionally liked running around.

"Then go back. I came up here for a reason!" Sodu gave a huff as she stood up and began to search for another path even though she couldn't see what was in front of her. She slowly moved her paws forward to make sure that that she wouldn't fall again. "You sure you're not chicken?"

Snookie sighed softly and followed the tapping noise of Sodu's claws. "Yeah, I'm sure. I just don't like getting in trouble." Snookie said. "Too bad there isn't any light here. It'd make it easier to find our way."

Sodu gently pawed his way to the air duct until the vents eventually climbed upwards. "There's no fun without a little risk. The best adventures are the ones where you get into trouble, Snookie!" She smiled as she began to walk faster. The tunnel ahead had a glimpse of light. "Who needs light?"
Sodu ran forward with her path illuminated by the sunlight. "We're almost there!"
