"Don't I know it." Steve laughed, "I am moving out soon as I'm old enough."
The boy shrugged, "Bailey is nice enough but it's the rest of it that makes things awkward." he pointed out.
Steve nodded, grinning, "Yeah. Lissy can keep the sparkles and collars."

Elisabetta looked at the younger boy questioningly before kicking the ball back to him. "What do you mean, 'awkward'?" Her older sister mode was kicking into over drive. Sure, she was close to Tally, and to some extent, Roman and Key, but Bailey always came first.
Meanwhile, Roman was also staring at Steve, but with less resentment than before. He cracked a little grin. "And the tiaras and dwesses." He nodded. Definately keep those.

Steve raised a brow at her again in response, "Awkward as in having a plushie crazy sparkle loving girly little brother is weird for me and creeps me out? Like I said, Bailey's cool but the rest of the stuff Riya does is weird." weird girls were weird he thought, kicking to Roman again. At least the other boy made more sense.
"Yeah, she can keep those too. Maybe take some of Mama Orii's tiaras and dresses too while she's at it!"

As rare as it was, Roman laughed freely, then smiled before kicking the ball back to Steve without any spite at all. Whatever misconceptions he'd had about the boy before were gone. "And all the neckwaces, bwacewets, and...and stuff!"
Elisabetta shook her head with a little flush. "Sorry. It sounded like you were calling- OH!" She jumped up, shocking her tentacles into stillness. Then she pulled her cellphone out of her pocket and flipped it open. "Well, shoot. We've got to go, Roman, Moose wants us back so we can see a movie." Still, when she looked at the toddler, she wished it wasn't so. She turned to Steve. "Maybe we can get together later and play again?"
