"Quite honestly? I hate this place. However, my son seems to have fallen in love with it. Can't say no to him." Andy said nonchalantly. This place was terrible: Over priced, smelled of burnt cheese, the pizza tasted like cardboard, and he really had no interest in any games. Still, it made his son happy, why ruin his fun?
"You get tickets!" Church said with a large smile as the construction paper tickets came pouring out of the machine, all 30 of them. Probably enough for a colorful eraser or some thing, "You trade 'em in for toys!"

"I understand that," Jadyn said, ordering a soda despite hating the sugary drinks - it was something to do, after all. "Though I fail to see what it is about places like this that make them child magnets."
Phoebe gasped, peering at the tickets in surprise. "You get prizes from playing the games? Oooooh, then let's get a lot more tickets! I'm going to get some tickets too!"

Church beamed, nodding enthusiastically at the girl's proposal for a ticket-collecting spree. Yes! Yes! It will be done and it will be done to it's full extent! And then they'd get more! Collecting was a perfect proposal for a Gluttony/Diligence child. It was perfect! "Yeah! Yeah!" he said cheerfully, his wings fluttering.
"Loud noises, greasy food, sweet food, soda, and bright lights...I don't think there's much more children love." The ogre said, actually enjoying a conversation.

Phoebe's stomach chose that moment to growl and voice its complaint, and the little pride child blushed. "Let's go eat first, okay? Then we can get aaaaaaaaall of the tickets this place has to give!"
Jadyn sighed and shrugged. "The exact reasons adults hate places like this. Irony at its finest, I suppose," the dark elf said idly, ears twitching as she listened for her daughter's voice among the loud and painful noises of the games and machines.

Food? Then stuff? If Church was a few years older and had seen a few more romantic comedies he would've gotten on a knee and proposed to her right then. However, being a simple toddler, Church just nodded enthusastically, "Food! Food!"
"Hm, too right." the ogre said, looking over at his son and the pink-haired girl he was talking to enthusiastically.

Phoebe giggled. "Come on then, back to the tables! You should meet my J-Mama anyway!" she chirped, taking the smaller boy by the hand and tugging him along to where her parent - and she guessed his as well - were waiting.
"Children are an alien species all to themselves," Jadyn murmured, turning her gaze to the approaching, bouncy pink-haired child and the little toddler that accompanied her. 'Speak of the devil,' she thought idly to herself, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.
